Stumptown Djs

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

Steven was easygoing, outgoing, made everybody want to get up and dance. He was part of the party! Followed all of our requests. He had great ideas. Very easy and fun to work with. He remembered everything we asked him to take care of. And he helped us get set up to record our special instrumental guest.

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Lovebug Pictures
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
  • Videographer

I’m a documentary aficionado turned wedding filmmaker based out of Portland, Oregon. When I’m not filming weddings, you can find me hanging out with my dog, Werner Herzdog (seen in the photo), having happy hour with friends or scheming my next video endeavor. I have filmed everything under the sun including a Netflix Original Documentary series to a musical narrative with the singer, Storm Large. But no matter what, I approach each project with the same gusto, excitement and curiosity. I can’t wait to meet you and learn more about your story!

Hands down, the best wedding decision we made was hiring Lauren. She is ridiculously talented, a ton of fun to work with, and can take a kernel of your vision and literally make your entire life flash before your eyes. We chose Lauren because her portfolio shows love stories unfolding between super interesting characters. You really feel like you get to know the people getting married rather than just basic venue drone shots and a flowing veil. Her work includes your wedding day, but tells a much bigger story about your personalities and relationship. We chose to invest in having Lauren with us the day before the wedding as well to capture our family and friends playing at the beach and having happy hour at a brewery. It really helped us get relaxed in front of the camera before the wedding and the footage turned out so awesome!!! Just a different dimension when everyone is goofing around in swimsuits vs tuxedos. Early on, we talked with Lauren about creating something that would incorporate childhood footage of us and our families. We wanted it to feel like a documentary that would be an heirloom for our kids and grandkids to recognize themselves in one day. She combed through dozens of hours of archival footage and wove it into our story so beautifully! She found the most incredible little frames of detail from our childhoods and connected them to our vows in ways that just made us both feel so seen and captured. Watching it back literally feels like she is inside our memories, and I can feel all these little pieces of myself surfacing during such a special life milestone. Our parents absolutely treasure this too. Words don’t do her work justice, but you will not regret investing in her art. Every other part of our wedding was kind of a blur - the venue, the food, the flowers, the music, etc. They were all lovely, but video captures everything in a way you can actually keep with you and re-experience forever. Can’t recommend Lovebug Pictures enough!

Dionne Kraus Photography

I am a firm believer that friendship comes from learning the weird and quirky about a person, and still wanting to hang out with them after. And, since you will literally spend more time with your photographer than most anyone else on your wedding day, I want to be friends. We NEED to be friends. Like, I’ll-probably-end-up-holding-your-dress-up-while-you-pee type friends. That’s practically BFF status. I’m not only in the business of capturing your epically rad and emotional moments, I am also in the business of making lasting friendships, both of which I’m really awesome at.

Dionne is one of the most amazing photographers in the PNW (and she travels too!). She was actually one of the first people I reached out to when I was engaged because I knew she HAD to be the one to capture the big day. Originally we were going to go to the mountains to elope but it evolved to smaller ceremony at a barn with great views. She is artsy, and fun and is down for just about anything when it comes to capturing your vision. I would give her 10 stars if I could. If you are looking for a photographer you will not regret booking her. I hope to get future sessions out in the woods with the family too!

Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Georgy was an incredible photographer for our wedding! When choosing a photographer, we were so nervous because we felt uncomfortable being in front of a camera and wanted someone who was professional, had ideas, and a timeless style. Georgy came in with ideas for locations and poses. Our package came with an engagement shoot, which helped us get comfortable with getting our picture taken and getting to know him better. This made our wedding day that much smoother. He even traveled a couple of hours to meet us.  Our wedding day was so smooth. He came in prepared and has such a good eye, always looking for new perspectives. Somehow, he was everywhere, all at once. He made sure to capture everything we had talked about, even when we weren’t sure if we had time. He found special moments we didn’t even know were happening, captured all the big moments, and the subtle details. Looking back on our photos helps us relive the day over and over! We have gotten so many comments on how good he was throughout the entire night. We can’t recommend Georgy enough for your big day!

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am the owner of Baileaves Photography. I am a travel and destination wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the world to create timeless cinematic images of couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
My fiancé and I are getting married in May 2026 and are both pretty camera shy. We knew we wanted to get professional engagement and wedding photos done, but were nervous they would feel inauthentic. When we found Bailey’s page we were so excited about how she captured genuine joy from her couples in some of our favorite natural wonders in Oregon, which put us at ease going into our first conversation with her. Right out of the gate Bailey was incredible helping us feel comfortable with her, giving us resources to help guide our location outfit choices, and making us feel confident that we weren’t going to regret this decision. On the day of our engagement shoot, Bailey showed up at sunrise with us on the Oregon coast and ran around the beach for over 3 hours with us because the lighting kept shifting in such incredible ways through the clouds. Not only that, but she went above and beyond wrangling our dogs while we got some couple shots followed by some with the pups in some truly special family shots we will certainly be hanging up in the house. We had the best time with Bailey and the engagement photos she delivered were beyond anything we could have imagined. The way she captures the little smiles and moments between loved ones is unmatched, and her attention to lighting nuance and details of the natural area you’re in make her photos that much more special. We ended up using some of her photos for our invites and website, but are most excited to frame some for the house to remember forever. We can’t wait to have her as our wedding photographer and couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone looking!

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m Northwest born, Portland based, and like to think that I have pines trees sprouting from my skin and sun-soaked glacial runoff coursing through my veins. Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. I like to share these details because I strongly believe that connecting with the couples I collaborate with is integral to the creative process of photographing a wedding. A strong connection will result in the best images possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kyle captured our celebration of marriage with professionalism, compassion and attention to detail. The time he spent in preparing for our first look photos, that were done at a location other than where our wedding took place, was amazing. He scouted the location for us, contacted the park and took time to assure that all of our photos we wanted could be done seamlessly. Kyle was flexible and made our wedding day go smoothly. We felt like he was one of our guests and not just our photographer by the way he melded into our family and friends. When we got our photos we were so excited and thrilled by how they turned out. He captured all of the important moments and documented our day beautifully. We highly recommend Kyle!

Paradox Productions
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,999
  • Serves Bridal Veil, OR

Portland. Bend. Eugene. Seattle. True professionals, PARADOX is well known for bringing together people of all ages through their variety of music and ability to pack dance floors at special celebrations. Their impressive work has received recognition and the team was voted Portland's Best DJ by Oregon Bride Magazine and Premiere Bride Magazine, with individual team members nominated as Best DJ by Willamette Week every year.

Zacch from Paradox Productions was the the best choice we could have made for our wedding entertainment. His expertise in event conduction and his ability to smile in the face of chaos kept everything organized and on track, even when the weather threw us a curveball. He helped redirect guests seamlessly when we had to adjust the schedule due to high winds and rain. His musical selections were spot on, providing great background music during dinner and keeping guests engaged on the dancefloor with an intuitive mix of songs we requested along with well-timed classics. Zacch went above and beyond by playing music late into the night after being informed by the camp hosts that he would need to spend the night at the venue due to an atmospheric river and downed trees blocking the road. He kept the party going as late as he could and afterwards spent time chatting fireside as the night wound down. Zacch has a charisma that keeps even your most ornery guests engaged and well behaved. He’s an excellent person on and off the turntable.

Shooting with them literally feels like hanging with your best friends. They were an absolute joy from start to finish, but it was Sharayah’s attention to detail and artistic eye that impressed me above all else. It was inspiring to feel like we were all creating art together, and the photos don’t lie! Our engagement shoot went viral on Instagram, and we got hundreds of comments saying, “these are literally the best engagement photos I’ve ever seen.” I too, agree with that sentiment, but I have to give credit to Hereafter’s vision and execution because they NAILED it. As a team, they’re both extremely communicative and organized, professional yet relaxed in the way they interacted with us and our guests. No one has ever made me feel so comfortable in front of a camera. Additionally, their digital color grading is meticulously adjusted to match 35mm film with incredibly accuracy. They perfectly captured the magic of our special day. We booked them for the whole package - engagement shoot, wedding photos, and wedding video with super 8 film. Their understanding of my vision was remarkable…Hereafter managed to romanticize every single detail in a profound way. The photos are so special to us because each one feels like a standalone piece of art. They went above and beyond for us in every capacity, even going so far as to drive me to the venue on my wedding day when things ran late! We cannot recommend Hereafter Films highly enough. Book them immediately! I promise you, they are worth every single penny and more.

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

All I knew at the time was that I wanted a day-of-coordinator to ensure that my bridal party could just show up and not worry about anything. What I realized on the rehearsal day is that they offer SO MUCH MORE than just coordinating. If I could go back and hire them again I would hire them for the full planning and design. They even do officiating!I was thoroughly impressed with Ava and Sasha and would recommend without any hesitation to help with your wedding. HIRE THEM!

Hi, thank you for stopping to read about me! I’m drawn to weddings for the emotion and meaning that unfold in a single day. With over 15 years photographing celebrations big and small, local and overseas, I bring a calm presence and gentle direction so you can stay present. I blend candid moments with editorial portraits so everything feels natural, cohesive, and effortless. My goal is for you to have the photos you dreamed of, ones that bring you back to the happiest day. If you want someone experienced, genuine, reliable, and fun, I’d love to talk! I take a limited number of weddings each year, please reach out to confirm availability.

Maria was the perfect choice for our forest elopement photography. From the very beginning, Maria's communication was clear, friendly, and timely, putting us at ease as first-time photo subjects. Her artistic, professional, and sensual approach to capturing our special day was exactly what we were looking for. Maria was great at directing us - we were nervous and didn't know what to do with our hands or how to pose, but she helped make everything look and feel natural while having so much fun! Maria is a super talented photographer and also a great director. We worked with her for our elopement and also for our small wedding dinner a month later, and her photos now hang all around our house, reminding us of these special days. Hiring Maria was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Can't wait to work with her again!

Founded by Mary and her husband after moving from Belarus to Portland in 2023, Kvetka blends European garden traditions, Slavic floral motifs, and nature's beauty into every design. We specialize in natural, garden-style arrangements with soft tones. Think loose bouquets with wildflowers and grasses, whimsical ceremony installations, and centerpieces that look gathered from a secret garden. We work with seasonal blooms, muted palettes, and romantic untamed beauty.

Weddings can be very stressful, especially when it comes to the flowers, but she was able to make it all happen! Mary met with my Husband and I several times prior to the big day to visit the venue, go over design, brain storm ideas, ect. She brought all my ideas to life and totally understood what I wanted but wasn’t able to put into words. On the wedding day, all florals were delivered and set up on time and in perfect condition with no hiccups. The flowers were so beautiful and definitely a highlight for guests. I couldn’t recommend Kvetka Flowers enough! Whether it’s a personal floral delivery, small gathering, or wedding, Mary will surpass your expectations and simply wow you with beautiful flowers. We love her!

Tamale Boy
Rating: 4.1 (10 reviews)
  • Caterer
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Bridal Veil, OR

Our menu offers a combination of classic Tamale Boy favorites for which we’re known, as well as many creative inspirations from regions throughout Mexico. We invite you to be creative and pick from our broad list of dishes to design your own menu that is uniquely yours for your guests to enjoy. Full service bartending is available upon request.

Working with Tamale Boy was exactly what we needed for our wedding day. The team kept communication straightforward and got everything done right on schedule, which gave us peace of mind leading up to the event. On the day itself, they set up cleanly and worked upstairs during our ceremony to organize everything for a smooth transition to the reception—they really paid attention to what we wanted. The food was incredible; we served green enchiladas with chicken and red enchiladas with birria, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. They also nailed the horchata and jamaica, which were honestly chef's kiss. If you're looking for a caterer who delivers professional food and service without the stress, Tamale Boy is the way to go.

Love knows no bounds. Every person is deserving of love and deserving of having it captured perfectly. I believe in equality. I believe in living simply and loving deeply. I believe that dogs are the best travel buddies and that plants make the world better and prettier. I believe that perfectly planned photos are awesome, but so is the candid photo of your 90 year old grandmother drinking whiskey with your friends. Your photos are about you, not me. I won't tell you what to do or how to live your best day. What I will tell you is where the best light is, what to expect during your wedding and always get your "good side."

Bethany Bloem Photography was the perfect choice for our vow renewal. From the very beginning, Bethany and her team were super attentive, helpful, and friendly - always quick to respond to our questions and provide guidance throughout the planning process. It was in Yosemite National Park, they expertly directed us into beautiful poses and made the most of the stunning location, capturing perfection in every shot. The final photos were absolutely awesome and worth every penny - we are thrilled with how they documented our special day. Bethany Bloem Photography is simply the best and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for an amazing wedding photography experience.
