KURO Creative House (formerly Hereafter Films) is a wedding video and photo production house serving the Pacific Northwest & Central Texas. Throw out the stress of formulaic & performative weddings. We want you to have an experience-driven, true-to-you celebration with cohesive & creative wedding photography & videography to remember it all. When your veil flies in your face, when you wipe your tears on your sleeve, when you dance until you can't breathe, that's where we thrive.

With our team of like-minded and creative shooters capturing your wedding, you can feel confident knowing your experience and memories are the priority. We value experimentation and want to encourage each couple to break the wedding day mold. We welcome the rough and tumble, the mosh pitters and crowd surfers, the all candid, raw, unpolished moments. Our main offering for weddings local to central Texas or Portland, OR with 50+ guests. Eight hours of coverage with two videographers and a personalized Highlight Video deliverable. Customizable coverage based on our hourly rate for intimate weddings or elopements of 50 or less local to Austin, Texas or Portland, OR. First hour is $1200 and each additional hour is $800. This is all about preservation of your legacy & history! The Raw Footage from your wedding is organized into individual folders based on events of the day and is delivered on a hard drive.     We had an amazing experience with KURO Creative House for both our engagement and wedding photos. From start to finish, the team was professional, creative, and incredibly easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured our personalities so naturally. The photos are absolutely stunning every image feels artistic while still capturing the genuine emotions of the day. They have a beautiful way of noticing the little moments that you might otherwise miss, and those ended up being some of our favorite shots. Our engagement photos were the perfect preview, and our wedding gallery exceeded every expectation.     Everything we wanted in a wedding video.

    We cannot recommend KURO Creative House enough. This review is long overdue but we couldn’t be happier with our wedding video and our experience working with them (formerly Hereafter Films). When we were deciding if we wanted a wedding video, we initially came to the decision that they were all a bit too cheesy or formulaic for our tastes. We consider ourselves sentimental but not sappy, and weren’t about to book a cinematic-style videographer since we didn’t care to have a faux movie trailer. We actually didn’t find any other videographers that resonated with us, even briefly looking outside of Texas, so we were planning to forgo video since we didn’t want to spend money on a product we weren’t excited about. Then we found KURO Creative House. Like others, we initially considered videography an “extra” when making our budget, but once we saw their work, we knew we had to prioritize it, if we were lucky enough for them to be available for our date. I never loved that seemingly all wedding vendors use the term “investment” in lieu of “pricing” on their materials, but the term is befitting of their work. It truly was one of the best investments we made for our wedding, and we absolutely adore and cherish our video. (Just a note that photography wasn’t an offering at the time we booked, but they have photo/video packages now!) Aside from their incredible work, which speaks for itself, one thing we were drawn to when reading about their shooting style was their use of the phrase “90% fly on the wall” — and they really were just that. I’ve been to several weddings since ours and it made me realize how much I hardly remember seeing Ryan & Sharayah the whole day?! As introverts, their noninvasive style and their chill, calming presence was key for us being able to feel relaxed enough to enjoy our day. If you’re on the fence, book them while your date is still available! Go check out their work on their Vimeo (linked in the footer of their website) and see for yourself. But get the tissue box ready, because all of their films are so touching and authentic and completely unique.

100%. We have packages that include travel for destination elopements or can create a custom package based on our hourly rate for elopements local to Austin, TX or Portland, OR.
Our team is based out of Portland, Oregon but are available to travel anywhere! For locations that are 50 miles outside of our home zip code, there is a travel fee based on mileage round-trip (72 cents/mile per IRS Standards 2026). Overnight accommodations will also be requested for weddings over three hours away. We have packages for U.S. Elopements & Destination Weddings that include travel cost, but depending on location and season, there may need to be additional travel compensation. A custom package can be created for International Weddings.
We would classify ourselves as creative & documentary. Our Highlight Video is meant to be an artsy, feeling-driven, true-to-the-moment playback of your wedding day. We use two to three songs and edit pretty chronologically. We can incorporate audio from the day, like letter readings, vows, or your officiants words into the film to your preference. We love to add in creative elements like Super 8 or VHS style footage or even iPhone videos you and your friends get throughout the day. Got home video you want mixed in? We're about it. The flow, vibe, and feeling of this video is completely dependent on your day, unique love and personalities.
Absolutely! We'd love to hear what some of your favorite artists/songs are and jam to your Spotify playlist as we edit. The final song selection for the film is ultimately our choice, as we have to take into account licensing, pacing for editing, etc. but we always take into consideration the musical taste of our clients. At the end of the day, it’s better to use a song you’ve never heard before rather than one you’ve been jamming for a while so that your brain can create a brand new association to the music and your memories. 
Photo galleries are delivered within two months & Highlight Videos are delivered within three months. Depending on the season & your particular deliverables, our delivery time frame may vary. We can definitely speed edit, but we prefer to give you a quality product you will enjoy for the rest of your life than give you immediate gratification from a rushed video or photo deliverable. We send about 80-100 preview photos within one week of the wedding day. And if you’re wanting to see a bit of your video sooner, we do offer a handful of Instagram Reels delivered within one week as an Add On.
Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance.
Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
Super 8 is a film medium capturing video on a vintage camera and yes, we can capture your day on Super 8 film! We offer the option to have Super 8 mixed into your Highlight Video (what we’d call mixed-medium) or you can opt to have your wedding filmed entirely on Super 8 with our Super 8 Mini Film package. Super 8 Mini Films can also be added to any Photography package.
For sure! We offer separate video deliverables as Add Ons such as the Ceremony in Full and Toasts in Full video. These are additional videos that capture these moments in full from multiple camera angles with professional audio capture, mixing and mastering and color grading. A very clean and watchable experience!
Yes! This would be our Raw Footage Add On. The clips we capture from your wedding are organized into individual folders based on events of the day and delivered on a hard drive in a custom fabric box for safe keeping. This is a must have for those who treasure home video & want to see all the raw moments that didn't make it into the final Highlight Video.
We have the option to add Instagram Reels to your package, which includes three vertically formatted & edited reels optimized for Instagram so that you can post snippets of the day & share with friends & family while you wait for your final video deliverable. This can include a mixture of footage and iPhone clips and the reels are delivered within one week of the wedding.
We rebranded and changed our name in 2026 to KURO Creative House so a lot of our video samples still show our old branding. One of our most recent videos in our portfolio above (Chris & Kait's Wedding in Victor, ID) was filmed in 2025 and has our new logo at the end.
