I’m Jaime, a Portland wedding and elopement photographer specializing in intimate, joyful and intentional ceremonies in nature. My work blends honest moments with a refined, artistic eye for images that feel both effortless and thoughtfully composed. I'm also an ultra marathoner, mountain lover, and dog wrangler, who needs regular access to tall peaks old growth forests, rocky coastlines, and everybody-knows-your-name wine bars.

Having started out as a sports photographer, I'm drawn to the gritty, tearful, joyful moments at the finish line. I seek out that same level of authenticity in my wedding photos. You’ll get some gentle direction from me during portraits (I won’t leave you hanging!), as well as a healthy amount of time blending into the background as a photo journalist. I want you to look back at your album and feel like that was a day that you got to wholeheartedly, fully, express your connection and everything that makes you, you. All bodies, abilities, cultural backgrounds and types of love are safe with me.

We had such a wonderful experience with Jaime as our wedding photographer. She was so easy to work with, friendly and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! Jamie was absolutely AMAZING!!! Everything I could of asked for and more. Myself and my (now) Husband decided to elope from Birmingham AL to Oregon. We had never been to the state before so planning was a little nerve racking. After meeting with Jamie for a Zoom call, I immediately had stress taken off me. She was perfect at capturing exactly what I was looking for and finding the most beautiful spot to have our ceremony. I received my sneak peaks back while still being on my honeymoon and got to fall in love with her work! I highly recommend and I can not say enough to express how grateful I am that she was apart of our day.

Jaime is such a talented, passionate photographer! Her creative eye and strive towards perfection is very apparent in the photos she takes. I had the chance to do a 1:1 shoot with her. She allowed me to express my ideas and find the best way to execute them. She made me feel naturally comfortable in front of the camera and took her time to find the best setting and lighting. Yes, absolutely. You can download all of your photos, in high resolution, for free. I never charge per download. If you'd like prints, you can print directly from my website or I can refer you to local printers that will do your photos justice

I do not offer RAW photos as part of any of my packages. However, rest assured that you will have plenty of photos to remember your day by! To get a sense of my editing style, please take a careful look at my portfolio to make sure you’re excited about it. The venue, lighting, etc., may change how photos look from album to album, but you’ll see a common theme regardless.

For now, I primarily shoot digital. However, I am drawn to the softer, nostalgic, and honest look of film. You'll find a hint of that vibe in all of my edits, regardless of the tools I'm using. If you're interested in adding on film, I am planning on offering it for my 2025 bookings!

Being based in the Pacific Northwest, I am so prepared for rain! I love the way it can show up in photos, too. That said, it’s important to be flexible and prepared. If we’re shooting outdoors, I ask that everyone bring rain gear just in case. If we’re in a place where indoor shooting is possible, we can also always move indoors. If there is lightning, I will ask that we take cover for safety until the storm ends.

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. We can chat about whether I think you need a second shooter during our consultation.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I do make sure you get a few sneak peeks within 2-3 days. I know how hard it is to wait!

In the extremely unlikely event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or a contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement if you'd prefer. If you choose to work with a different photographer, rather than someone I hire to cover me, you will get your deposit back.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

You can expect about 75 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
