My non-AI review: I need to start this by saying that I am a picky person - very type A, and I don’t trust people to take control of situations often. However, Hannah is someone I felt comfortable putting my trust in - from the start, she was transparent, knowledgeable, and one of the most competent coordinators I talked to - and I say this because we had booked another coordinator prior to booking Hannah, and the prior coordinator was not good at her job. So when it came to working with Hannah, it was such a refreshing and relieving experience. Take my word for it - this is the person to book if you’re wanting quality and competence in a coordinator - I will vouch for her 100%, she is truly worth the praise. She was extremely professional and personable - basically she took the weight off our minds the whole time - from rehearsal to wedding day. Everything we were stressing about before, we were able to let go of - she took over, which meant decisions were being made and things were getting done. We got sooooo many compliments, even from my really hard to please family and friends - seriously, a huge part of the success of the wedding was Hannah’s planning. The biggest and constant compliments we got was that the wedding had many thoughtful touches, was an actual fun time, and was well scheduled - “everything was seamless” is a compliment we heard a lot - and I agree. She kept the whole day moving forward while delegating and coordinating - I didn’t have a single thing to worry about, which is a rare feeling. She even took videos and photos for us, which I had no idea was happening and was such a thoughtful surprise - it was so beautiful to have an album of memories to look at once the night ended - beautiful memories which was so nice since we knew our photographer would take a while to send us our pictures. In summation, if I had to do it all again, I would go with Hannah every time. All my wedding party and close family that interacted with her was impressed with her skills and the way she directed vendors and handled crowds. We were truly lucky that she was available for our wedding day. Thank you for everything Hannah - you’re a spectacular person and wedding coordinator. I’m forever grateful for you.

I could not imagine having my wedding at any other venue except for Abernethy in Oregon! There is so much to love about them - the venue is beautiful, of course, but all of their staff are so incredible & kind, from the coordinators I worked with, to my day-of planner, to the wait staff that I encountered. Abernethy offers in-house catering, which not only takes that off of your plate when it comes to planning, but the menu is INCREDIBLE. Many of my wedding guests have told me time and time again that Abernethy served some of the best wedding food they've ever had. Lastly, throughout my experience, I greatly appreciated the fact that at Abernethy, you can have the wedding you want at any price point. Abernethy outshone any other venue I visited, and again, I could not imagine my wedding without them!

We’re a premium storytelling studio that brings a pop-up podcast booth to the heart of your wedding day. Think more Soho House than sound booth—elegant, intimate, and beautifully styled. Guests step inside and respond to meaningful, pre-recorded prompts in your voice, sharing love, laughter, and memories. After the wedding, we produce a polished podcast series—complete with music, editing, and heart. It’s the voices of your people, captured forever. More than a guestbook—it’s your story, as an audio heirloom told by the ones who lived it with you.

Do this immediately!!! it’s the best thing we did for our wedding. to be honest, we hesitated, and when we asked around our guest hesitated as well. Like I’m not sure people want to do a recording or maybe it’ll be a task rather than entertaining for the guest. It was far away the thing people love the most and we had a lot of things going on over three days. On the surface, it might not seem as impressive of an activity - it is!!! plus working with adam is amazing. i just can’t express how perfect the entire experience was. people loved it so much we had to add hours.

With over two decades of floral industry experience, Alana incorporates her vast design and industry expertise and creative talent with her client's vision to bring their dream wedding to reality. Flowers by Alana will design and deliver absolutely stunning wedding flowers to set the mood, style, and tone of the celebration and have the guests saying, "ooohh the flowers are so gorgeous!"

I truly get teary-eyed thinking about the beautiful flowers that Alana designed for my wedding. As a native-Oregonian who moved away 6 years ago, having locally grown flowers from the soil of my old stomping grounds was so important to me, and Alana went above and beyond to make this happen. She captured the rustic, yet elegant wildflower aesthetic that I was aiming for, incorporating pops of color and greenery that took my breath away. I loved my bouquet reveal too--she stuck around to physically hand me my bouquet and explain the best way to hold it to display the flowers appropriately, and I just love that I have these photos capturing that special moment I got to have with her on my wedding day. She truly is one-of-a-kind, and if you book her, she will take your vision and make it happen. I love you so much Alana! Thank you for being such an amazing part of our special day.

Hi friend!! I'm Karmen. I believe love deserves to be documented with intention, honesty, and care. The kind that feels cinematic but real. Elevated but effortless. I believe your wedding day should feel like you, not a production performed for the camera. The most meaningful images live in the in between. Quiet nerves before the ceremony, hands finding each other without thinking, laughter that spills out when the timeline pauses. Your photos are never about perfection. They are about presence. Thoughtfully guided when needed, and quietly observed when the moment belongs to you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Karmen (KNCAPTURES) for our San Diego wedding and truly couldn’t be happier with that decision. From our very first call, she made us feel seen and heard — not just like another couple in the queue. We ended up choosing her biggest package because we wanted the engagement session and the custom wedding album, and both ended up being so worth it. The engagement session helped us get comfortable in front of the camera, and Karmen brought out such natural moments between us that we still get compliments on those photos. On the wedding day, she was calm, professional, and somehow everywhere at once. She captured everything — the emotional, the fun, the in-between — and delivered it all in her signature cinematic, timeless style. What really blew us away was the hardback album we worked on together after the wedding. Karmen helped us narrow down our favorites and designed something that felt truly personal. It’s sitting on our coffee table and we flip through it all the time — it tells the story of our day perfectly.

Guests at Ironlight transition between indoor and outdoor spaces through sliding glass doors opening onto two separate rooftop terraces. An enclosed glass lobby welcomes guests into the building. Ironlight accommodates guests indoors with the ability to create custom intimate gathering areas within the space. Parking is conveniently located onsite under the building in addition to an area for ridesharing drop-off/pick-up or valet.

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Has a sophisticated vibe
  • Flexible event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
We eagerly and enthusiastically recommend Ironlight to our couples who are seeking a modern space with a seamless experience. The venue quickly sells itself as you step off the elevator and into the 180 degree view of downtown Lake Oswego. To have the option of an outdoor experience with a reliable (and stunning) indoor space is a gift in Oregon with our sometimes unpredictable weather conditions. We have found this to be a special place that couples may celebrate their best day ever with the ease of so many inclusions already in house. And more importantly, the experience and care from the staff is really sincere as well. They really strive to support the best interest of the couple and have always helped us to keep their experience at the helm. We do a little 'happy dance' when we get the news that we get the opportunity to work with them and care for a couple together! :)

Ashley was so, so helpful in planning our wedding. We were a little nervous about getting married in Hood River, OR while living across the country in New York City, but Ashley made the whole thing possible. She provided more help and support in the year leading up to the wedding than we ever would have expected from a coordinator. Ashley's vendor recommendations, planning timeline, monthly questionnaires, and monthly check ins helped us stay on top of planning and made us feel calm and comfortable throughout the whole process. A month before the wedding, Ashley took over all communication with our vendors to make sure all the little details were taken care of. On the day of the wedding, Ashley handled all of the set up and take down, and made sure the whole day ran smoothly. Our friends and family were also so complimentary of her. Ashley also did all of the florals for our wedding. We gave her creative flexibility and we absolutely loved how all of the florals turned out. I highly recommend hiring Ashley for your wedding -- she is truly amazing!

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

We were also able to squeeze in a beautiful engagement session in San Francisco. We loved the city but Joie gave us some great insights on where to actually take the photos. On our wedding day, Joie was very thoughtful and made sure to take care of us all day long! We think its amazing that she was able to capture some of the candids that we wouldn't even have thought possible during our ceremony and reception and then gave us some absolutely dreamy sunset portraits! We can't thank Joie enough for the wonderful job that she did capturing our memories but more so than anything, treating us like we were friends and family and making the day feel so natural!

We hired Robyn as our wedding florist, and the florals were absolutely stunning, truly elevating the entire day. Recommended by our venue, she knew the space so well. In the planning process, she talked through our vision and how we might achieve it with seasonal flowers (so helpful since we live in California and are not as familiar with OR spring blooms). She shared photos of her past work to help us really picture it. Robyn also used a simple online platform that helped streamline any changes we made to the order, which we continued to do until the wedding day :) Appreciate the flexibility! Thank you, Robyn, for your artistry and professionalism!

I attended a wedding at the beautiful Redland Family Farms in Oregon City, Oregon in Sept 2024. The property was amazing (and quite large) and Monteleone Wedding Coordinating was the right choice for the venue. Brit and Michael (owners of MWC) worked the whole day to coordinate with the venue, and multiple vendors, as well as the families and guests, while staying cool and professional the whole time. (I arrived early and snapped a pic of Brit and Michael during during setup) I've been a guest at several weddings in the last few years in Oregon and I have to say that none went as smoothly from the minute we parked to the time we left the venue. Hats off to Redland Family Farms and Monteleone Wedding Coordinating.

We loved working with Carly! She always answered questions promptly and was easygoing to work with. The day of the wedding, we were running a bit late, but Carly was super accommodating and went with the flow of things. Her photos are exquisite and beautiful. She captured the day wonderfully and even the expressions of the guests. The quality of her photos was absolutely worth the investment. I totally recommend Carly! You will not be disappointed.

Lavender Owl Farm is one of my favorite wedding venues to work with. The staff are always sweet, attentive, and professional. They are eager to please and are always looking for ways to improve the experience for their couples. The beautiful grounds are huge and feature various trees. It provides rustic yet elegant backdrops, and the different spaces around the property create a great flow for the wedding day events. As a photographer, I love the different textures and colors the variety of trees offers, especially in the fall when the foliage is stunning. I also love the free-roaming chickens and their occasional surprise entrance during the ceremony or reception! The staff is always present and available, ready to assist and ensure everything runs smoothly. They are also well-connected in the industry and have great resources to make the day special.
