My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

I do this work for two reasons: Because I love people and I love the planet. People -   I love all types of people, and yet all types of people are not always celebrated in the wedding industry, or in outdoor spaces.   F that.   You deserve a wedding experience you’ll never forget, regardless of what you look like, how old you are, or who you love. Planet - I’m a Leave No Trace aware photographer, conserving energy through my personal and business choices, and continuing to lean into environmental activism. Nadia is by far one of the most amazing individuals we have ever worked with. From the very start she was attentive, caring, professional and really created an experience we didn't even know we wanted!!! The questions she asked to help us dream about our perfect engagement photo shoot and wedding day literally came to life. We didn't even know we wanted an engagement photoshoot and now this is one of our most cherished memories. We felt incredibly comfortable and connected the entire time along with precious moments I didn't even know could be captured. On our wedding day, she was so incredibly organized, she kept us moving without feeling rushed and we even got the little moments away from all of the activity to be together and really soak up our day. The photos are stunning, as we looked over them we could feel the emotion we were feeling on our wedding day, you can't make that up. We cannot recommend her more - if you don't book with her, you're missing out not only on beautiful memories but also getting to meet one of the most kind individuals to walk this planet!

Nadia was a joy to work with! Out of all our vendors, she was the most consistent with communication and the most helpful with referrals for anything we needed. She checked in with us even when there wasn't a deadline looming. She was super friendly, relatable and an AMAZING photographer. We are not very comfortable taking pictures and she made it very easy for us to be in the moment. We 100% recommend her for your special day or any event you have.

When my husband and I started out the wedding planning experience we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Not only were we doing an elopement but we were traveling over 1,000 miles to do so. We looked at many photography sites on google and Venture Ever after stood out to us. We like the vibes of the pictures and the give back part of the packages. We had our first phone meeting with Nadia in the early stages of planning and she made us both feel so comfortable about our visions and expectations. She did so much scouting at our dream location which as helpful because we weren’t going to be able to see it before the wedding. Nadia is so warm and makes you feel like you have been life long best friends. She is also extremely professional and exceptional at her craft. Our wedding day had an unexpected guest, Mother Nature, but she took it in strides. She braved the freezing cold on top of a mountain with us. She brought gloves with warmers for me and even extra blankets. She is so thoughtful. She really saved the day and came up with great ideas for new plans since the weather did not cooperate. I would and have recommended her to all of my friends.

Nadia has been such a perfect fit for our wedding photography. We had four photographers lined up to interview, as we were unsure how to pick such an important partner for our day. Nadia was the second photographer we chatted with, & immediately after, we canceled the remaining appointments with the other photographers. She was the perfect fit! She was kind, our values aligned, & we so appreciated her commitment to philanthropy of organizations that were impactful. She made us feel seen & heard with our preferences. Nadia sent multiple packages to fit our needs, including engagement photos & different lengths of time for shooting our intimate wedding. She quickly scheduled engagement photos for us that were absolutely unique! She asked us what we love to do together & was completely on board when we offered thrift shopping, walking in the park with our dog, & getting ice cream! How special & truly unique to us! Nadia was so flexible when the morning of was a bit chaotic for me, due to a last second cancellation of a makeup appointment. She was kind & supportive as we started the session a bit frazzled! The whole day was beautiful &fun, never stressful, &it felt like we were enjoying a day with an old friend! Nadia sent sneak peeks of the engagement session within the week &allowed us to send out a save-the-date right away. She delivered the rest of the photos very soon after, &we were so impressed with the amount of perfect shots that she captured. As we prepared for the wedding day, Nadia worked with us to create a timeline that was incredibly helpful. I’m a very planned &organized person, so having this advanced planning & timeline was absolutely essential to a smooth wedding day. She alleviated so much of the stress that I had with developing the plan for the day. Nadia also sent over ideas &chatted with us to ensure that the day went as we hoped, sending us a questionnaire to make sure she got all of the family photos we wanted, had a first look where &when we imagined, & the super special moments towards the end of the day together during golden hour. On the Wedding day, Nadia was instrumental to this day going as beautifully & smoothly as it did. I seriously cannot imagine the day without her. She helped me make sure my lipstick wasn’t on my teeth, helped me put on my bracelets, gave me calming words &support, &expertly captured every single shot &way more! My husband &I felt so completely relaxed and comfortable with her, as she had become not only our photographer but a friend throughout the process. Nadia transformed our beautiful setting into a magical atmosphere that made our photos shine. She delivered sneak peeks less than a week after our special day, that we had the opportunity to enjoy while still on our honeymoon. That was so special! The sneak peeks alone captured our day so beautifully, we were absolutely shocked that when the remaining photos were delivered a little over a month later, there were even more perfect shots! My husband noted how impressive it was that she seemed to capture multiple moments around the reception seemingly simultaneously! It seemed like she was in four places at once with the incredible footage she took. I cannot rave enough about the experience we shared with Nadia. The photos she captured of our wedding day will be cherished for many years to come. She is thoughtful, helpful, supportive, and a truly special person. I would and have recommended her over and over and will continue to do so.

While I fully believe that folks should celebrate exactly how they really want to (and sometimes that means a big, traditional wedding!), I specialize in small, intimate weddings and elopements of 30 people or less. This is largely because I often work with folks looking to get married in nature, and many public land spaces simply can't support a bigger crowd. That said, I take a limited number of larger weddings each year. So, if you are planning something with a bigger guest list and a dedicated venue, and you connect with me/my work, please don't hesitate to reach out!

This varies depending on the location, number of guests, and your overall vision for your day. I've typically seen that eloping couples tend to book me about 4-8 months before their wedding date, while folks planning something like an intimate wedding that maybe has a booked intimate venue with a small guest list might book me a little further out, at 6-12 months. There's no set rule for how far out to book, but keep in mind that if you're getting married in the outdoors, we'll need time to apply for permits and other logistics, so giving yourself *at least* 1-2 months is best.

My packages are focused on photography-related services, and I don't personally offer videography. That said, I have a curated list of AMAZING videographers that I've worked with in the past and would highly recommend, and I'm happy to share those names and contact info with my clients. These folks are not only talented, but because we've worked together before, you also get the benefit of a cohesive team who will work seamlessly with each other to deliver not only an excellent end product for you, but more importantly, an exceptional experience.

I always aim to deliver a handful of sneak previews to you within a week and a half of your wedding or session date. Full galleries are delivered within 8 weeks, though often sooner during slower seasons (e.g. winter).

Venture Ever After is made up of two photographers: Nadia (hi, that's me!) is the primary photographer and owner. Cassidy is an official associate photographer and member of the Venture Ever After team. We have a combined 25+ years of experience in the wedding industry, and we've spent the last 4 years working closely together. Cassidy became an official part of the Venture Ever After team in late 2023, and we're so excited to be able to work with even more folks now, helping them have a personalized and intentional PNW elopement experience.
