From custom tabelscape design, intimate coastal elopements to large celebrations, I have a vast amount of experience with weddings and creating the perfect day for any couple. I pride myself on being a calm and reliable presence for my couples so that they can feel supported on their wedding day and throughout the planning process. I absolutely love what I do working with couples to bring their dream day to life and be their support.

    Elopement at the Coast

    We couldn't have asked for a better planner than Kelly. My wife and I traveled six hours to Southern Oregon for our elopement, and she made the entire experience feel effortless. From coordinating with our photographer, florist, private chef, and hair and makeup team to creating a structured but relaxed timeline that adapted seamlessly to the weather and the natural flow of the day, every detail was handled with care. The thoughtful touches, like the amazing charcuterie lunch in the California redwoods, made the experience even more special. Beyond her organization, Kelly is simply an incredible person. She's genuine, funny, uplifting, and has an amazing ability to read the room—always knowing when to step in and help and when to give us space to enjoy the moment together. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement, a large wedding, or anything in between, we can't recommend Kelly highly enough.

    Day of Wedding Coordinator

    Kelly was an amazing coordinator. Was helpful throughout the whole process and never added more stress. She was easy going with preferences I had based off my type of organization. Super easy going which made the whole bridal wedding process so much easier! Day of the fact that she had extra hands was huge. I didn’t feel worried about one thing all day! She was also such a positive light to the whole day she felt so much like family/ friends. She was there when I needed her every step of the way. Not to mention a huge swiftie and hugely complimentary she is just a sweet human to be around. her assistants were also amazing too! A great team and company she has created!

    Kelly Hammond Events

    We had the opportunity to work with Kelly Hammond Events twice - once to plan a small backyard ceremony in advance and a second time to plan and execute a large wedding reception.  One of the things that impressed us most was Kelly’s extensive network of incredible vendors. She connected us with talented, reliable professionals in the Valley who perfectly matched our vision. It was clear that the venue and vendors knew and trusted her, which made everything run smoothly day-of.  Kelly also has an amazing eye for design and detail. She found the most beautiful napkins for our reception and they ended up being one of those special touches that elevated the entire look of the tables. Her table-setting and reception design deck creative skills are state of the art. Our tables were stunning and since we had a reception only, they were the main event. Every place setting and decorative element came together flawlessly, creating a stunning and elegant atmosphere that our guests are still talking about. We are very grateful for the way that Kelly (and her assistants Heather and Kenzie) worked tirelessly on a warm day to set up and replicate an absolutely stunning table setting for a large guest list - down to the spacing of the silverware set with white gloves! - to bring the design to life.

    Best Wedding Coordinator EVER!

    Kelly is an absolute dream to work with. She understood the vision of our wedding within one meeting, and was able to quickly start making our vision a reality! She has connection with the best vendors in the Valley, and made sure that we got only the best! She always made sure we knew that we could reach out to her, and would make sure to set up meetings with us throughout the process. Not only was she so organized and on top of it, but she was also so attuned to our emotional needs. I felt like she had us under her wing, and would make sure to protect us and advocate for us with our vendors, and even with family dynamics when it was needed. She fit right in with our friends and family, and we cannot imagine our wedding without her. If you are wondering if you need a coordinator... YES you do, and if you are wondering who to go with, do yourself a favor and book Kelly now! I promise, you will be so glad you did! Kelly is warm, devoted to her work, organized, respected in the industry (and well connected), and makes her clients feel like her top priority. She is simply the best!

    GOAT

    Rogue Picnics and Events was the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. Their communication was great - they were fast to respond, and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and the value they provided was amazing. They set up a beautiful table for our dessert display and even took care of our dogs during the ceremony, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day. Seriously, the best wedding coordinator ever was so helpful and made our wedding day run smoothly from start to finish. We highly recommend Rogue Picnics and Events to any couple planning their wedding.

I started my picnic business in May of 2021. Shortly after, I opened my own event space. I have coordinated events of all sizes, from small proposals and elopements on the coast, to weddings in my event space, to large festivals and events. I have full confidence in events of different sizes, in a variety of locations and with my experience in both design and venue management, I bring a unique and experienced view to event coordination and design. I specialize in tablescape design, and weddings of 75 people or under but I love an event of any size and no challenge is too large.
We only take one wedding for coordination per weekend. Because we are with you from rehearsal until that final goodbye for any of our coordination packages, it is important we give our client the full energy that weekend requires.
Rogue Picnics and Events consists of the owner, Kelly, and two amazing assistants: Courtney and Heather. Your event is custom curated to you, so depending on the size and needs of your specific event, we will determine how many team members will be needed. Kelly will always take lead and be the main contact throughout your planning process.
We do indeed travel. Part of what sets Rogue Picnics and Events apart is our experience in a variety of settings. We love to travel for events and weddings and are happy to discuss that with you. We do always ask of a travel fee to value our time, and that is determined on where we will be traveling and the needs of the specific event.
We do have an extensive and wonderful local vendor list for Southern Oregon. We are working on growing our vendor list throughout Oregon as we continue to connect within the community, and we have connections throughout the state that allow us to ask for recommendations if we need. We love supporting other local businesses and partnering with other amazing talent to make sure your day has the best vendors.
