Hey hey!! SO STOKED you're here! My name's Lennie! I'm based in Portland, OR but have been documenting engagements + tiny weddings all over the country since 2017. I'm a hardcore introverted enneagram 9 and am obsessed with my doggo, my husband, and all things travel!

It lights my heart + soul on fire to serve carefree + adventurous couples who just want to be themselves and forget there’s a camera pointing at them.     Hire her already!

    Working with Elena Popescu Photo for our wedding photography was an absolute dream. From the moment we first spoke, Elena's communication was prompt, clear, and incredibly friendly. Her unique, romantic photography style truly captured the essence of our wedding day on Mount Hood. Elena made us both feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera, which is impressive since we don't normally like having our pictures taken. She expertly guided us through posing and was an absolute joy to be around. The final photos are magazine-quality and perfectly reflect the love and joy of our special day.     More than I could’ve EVER wished for.

    I had to process what to write for DAYS!! There are no words to express how thankful I am for the photos we received. Not only are they absolutely PERFECT, but they truly embrace how we are as a couple. Lennie is so easy to get along with and made us feel so comfortable!! She’s absolutely AMAZING at what she does. There’s no way by the end of the shoot you won’t be smiling ear to ear!! THANK YOUUUUU.

    BEST photographer EVER!

    Picking a photographer is not an easy task but once I saw Lennie's Instagram and realized she had done one of my favorite family photo shoots of my sister-in-law and her family, I knew it had to be her. After meeting her and going over wedding details I knew there wasn’t a better photographer for us out there. Lennie made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and during our engagement shoot. She had fun games to play that made for the cutest pictures. She is very responsive and quick to answer emails and was willing to do whatever she could to make sure I got everything I needed day of photographed. I truly couldn’t imagine the photos being any better and we’ve only received the sneak peek so far. Even the second shooter was super sweet and friendly. Our photos were the most important thing to us and Lennie exceeded ALL expectations, truly blew them out of the water and we are forever grateful to her and her talent! I'd post our entire engagement and wedding album if I could and I could write a book about how amazing she is!

I’m based out of Portland, OR and HELLS YEAH! I absolutely looove traveling for weddings whether it’s a few hours away or out of state (or country)! If you’d like to book me for an out of state session or wedding, just hit me up and I’d be happy to get you an exact quote + more details!
Typically, couples book me about 4 to 10 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!
YES! I’ll bring one assistant photographer depending on the size of your wedding or which package you book!
For weddings, I generally deliver around 70 to 100 images per hour of coverage, so for a 7 hour wedding you can expect at least 600 to 700 images in your gallery. I deliver around 60 to 70 images for my one to two hour couples sessions. But generally I don’t put a limit on how many photos I give you, I just deliver all the good ones!
My turnaround time varies by season! Typically I deliver wedding + elopement galleries within 4 to 6 weeks of your wedding day! Engagement + portrait galleries take me about 3 to 4 weeks to send! However I always send a sneak peek gallery within one week of your shoot or wedding!
Since I’m a huuuge fan of natural light, I always always always prefer natural light sources over artificial ones! Natural light works straight magic with nailing down beautiful skin tones AND doesn’t require lugging a million pounds of gear with me everywhere! My style + editing also relies heavily on natural tones and light the sky gives, and artificial light just doesn’t quite cut it for me. That being said I definitely know that on a wedding day I won’t always have natural light available after the sun sets and the dance party is still going strong. So in situations like these, I do use a flash to get high quality, non-grainy photos!
I always always always book my own flights + lodging for destination weddings to ensure I get there in time (I’ve heard too many horror stories of photogs being late not to)! But keep in mind, I’m NOT out to break your bank by booking only high end Airbnbs and luxury flights. I search for + book travel accommodations as if I’m paying out of my own wallet and always look for chances to stay with a friend in the area to save wherever I can!
At this point in my business, I don’t. I’m a huge believer in giving every single client an amazing experience as well as make sure my time + work spent the weeks after the wedding or session is taken into consideration. Because of this, it wouldn’t be fair to my full paying clients (and myself) to hand out discounts at this point!
