Hey! I'm Sharlee, an adventure & pet-friendly elopement photographer based in Oregon. I have a background as a vet tech+ I'm an avid lover of hiking, camping, climbing, or anything outside. I am passionate about helping couples feel empowered to “break from tradition and create a wedding of your own” Whether that's exploring a new place together, cuddling in a cabin, or sharing a favorite food - I want your wedding day to feel authentic to YOUR relationship and what makes elopements so special. Being able to provide you with a fun, enjoyable experience & beautiful images that look like your own piece of art is what makes me beam.

    We had a wonderful experience with Unleashed Elopements as our adventure elopement photographer. Sharlee was extremely personable and supportive throughout the planning process (and our unexpected changes of plans!), patiently answering all of our questions. On our big day, she captured breathtaking photos that we will treasure forever. The images are true art and perfectly encapsulate the special details and memories of our special day. We couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out and the entire experience.     There aren't enough compliments in the world

    Our experience with Sharlee was everything we could have hoped it to be, if not so much more. To start, we wanted our ceremony to be in Utah, which was a challenge in itself being that we live in Oregon. Sharlee knew all the steps to take to make sure we could have photos at our ceremony in the location we wanted, including what permits were needed (which seemed like the most daunting of tasks). She was also great about asking us what our vision was for our ceremony so she could get the best photos possible, and she really delivered on getting those photos. I mean, WOW. To start, the moments she captured are the moments we'll want to look back on, so many years from now. From us getting ready, to the ceremony, to cute moments after the ceremony and everything in between, she caught it all. She even made on-the-fly-adjustments to make sure we got the perfect photos when things didn't go quite to our original plan, and did so in such a professional and smooth way that you almost would have thought she expected it to begin with. We received a preview gallery in the midst of our honeymoon, which made it feel that much more special, and the photos are AMAZING. The photos combined with her editing style are beautiful and timeless, and I know they will be something we lovingly look back on for the rest of our lives. We absolutely made the right choice on who to hire for our big day and will be greatly appreciative of what she did for us for our the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend her highly enough for your big day, as I know you'll be ecstatic as we are about our photos.

Typically, couples book me about 3-6 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers if desired. I am also partnered with a film-exclusive photographer and Super 8 videographer that is an additional add-on to your day.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
I work with 2 videographers frequently! One shoots exclusively Super 8mm film and the other is standard, digital work. Both are well trusted and we all capture your story in the same candid, documentary style.
I will send at least 10 images for your sneak peek within 7 days of your wedding. You’ll be able to view all your edited photos online about 6-8 weeks after your elopement. You'll also receive a wooden keepsake box to store all your images in, which will be directly shipped to you after your elopement for no additional charge.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, and other factors.
I do! I usually need to provide this to the National and State Parks for permit requirements. It also keeps us both sane in case something happened to my gear -- I'm prepared for all worst-case scenarios and take your photographs very seriously.
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Nope. Unless there is weather that would physically harm us from performing your elopement that day, there will be no cancellation on my end. I prepare and shoot in all kinds of weather and will prepare you for that scenario as well. I am very flexible in changing our elopement timeline and have backup locations if needed. I do my best to educate and prepare you for the outdoors.
HECK YES! I'm super passionate about involving your fur babies on your wedding day. As a Certified Vet Tech and obtaining my Fear-Free Behavior Certificate, I am an expert in incorporating your pets on your elopement day.
