  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Tualatin, OR

Flowers by Alana is a boutique wedding and events floral studio servicing Portland the the Pacific Northwest. With over two decades of floral industry experience, Alana incorporates her vast design and industry expertise and creative talent with her client's vision to bring their dream wedding to reality. Flowers by Alana will design and deliver absolutely stunning wedding flowers to set the mood, style, and tone of the celebration and have the guests saying, "ooohh the flowers are so gorgeous!"

Alana was such a dream to work with! She was so kind and encouraging from the very first call! It gave me so much peace during the planning process to know I had such a knowledgable florist who understood my vision and wanted to make all our dreams come true. I don't know a lot about flowers but Alana was so great at explaining things and listing out the exact flowers she intended to use that I could see it all coming together perfectly. She was so flexible with us as we removed and added different pieces throughout planning and was always putting our needs at the forefront. The moment she handed me my bouquet on the day of our wedding, that will always be a core moment. It truly completed the look and made me feel like a bride! Walking through the venue together was so surreal, it was our garden inspiration come to life. All of the colors were so soft and matched the aesthetic we wanted perfectly! And truly all of the flowers she used were stunning, we got so many compliments on all of the florals pieces people were thrilled they could take the centerpieces home. Not only did she make the most beautiful floral pieces for our big day but she was so thoughtful and kind the entire day. She put everything in the shade and kept things inside until necessary to prevent the surprise heat from wilting anything. She gave the bridesmaids and I tips on how to hold our bouquets for the best angles and when to wet/dry them. Alana went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly for us even after she left the venue. Alana was a dream to work with and we are forever grateful that she was a part of our big day!

Tall Drink of Water Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Tualatin, OR

Hi! I’m Jessi, a boutique floral designer with over 14 years of experience designing for weddings and events. I love getting lost in my clients’ floral visions, collaborating on all the little details, and creating designs that feel joyful, romantic, and effortlessly magical.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a fantastic experience working with Jessi. From the very beginning, she was a true professional who was clearly invested in bringing our vision to life. We came to her with a specific color scheme and a list of must-have flowers, and she listened carefully to our ideas while blending in her own expertise and creativity. Jessi's dedication was impressive. For our Hindu wedding ceremony, she put in extra effort, researching and even reaching out to another florist to learn how to create the traditional garlands we needed. She even made a special matching garland for our dog who was in the ceremony. She took every element of our vision and executed it perfectly—especially our wedding arch, which turned out incredible. The arch, centerpieces, and all the floral arrangements were stunning and captured the romantic, natural woodland aesthetic we wanted. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were. Jessi is not only incredibly talented but also great to work with. She made the entire process stress-free and created a beautiful setting that we will remember forever.

Sadie joined us relatively late in the game as the day-of coordinator for our Portland wedding, after our original coordinator had a conflict. Despite that, she handled the transition seamlessly, and made the day effortless, handling all the vendor interactions and making sure everything was in place. She's also a talented floral designer, and did a lovely job with our bouquet, boutonniere, and table arrangements for the reception at a very reasonable price. She's definitely one of the standout people who made our wedding possible, and we can't recommend her enough.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (93 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Tualatin, OR

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
This was by far one of the best decisions and money savers I could’ve done for myself. The flowers were top quality, beautiful, and we had a blast putting them together with our family. Flower Mocie is simple and they have videos that will help you prepare in advance for your vision and piecing your bouquets together. I was quoted 5000 for florals by other vendors, but with flower moxie and a little creativity, we only spent 500 to cover 12 bouquets and 16 boutonnières. HIGGLY RECOMMEND

The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Her work is often described as romantic, lush, and organic, blending classic elegance with distinctive, carefully sourced blooms. Inspired by the beauty of nature, she approaches each event as a fresh canvas, crafting designs that are uniquely tailored to the occasion. From intimate weddings to grand, multi-day celebrations, Rachael specializes in bringing floral visions to life with creativity, intention, and a touch of the unexpected.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were so happy with the florals Rachel created for our wedding — they were perfectly in line with the vision, beautiful, and truly elevated the entire day. The value was strong, and she brought a lot of creative problem solving to the table. As a bride aiming for a modern classic vibe, I especially appreciated how Rachel has her finger on the pulse of current floral trends and contemporary approaches. A couple of notes for future couples: Rachel is firm on her timelines, so make sure you’re aware of her deadlines and plan accordingly. We had a miscommunication with our planner around the one-month mark, which caused some stress, but Rachel still worked with us to find a solution. Similarly, when it comes to specific design elements (like installation sizes), I’d recommend leaning into visual mocks and over-communicating to avoid surprises. Rachel is happy to provide them, and it’s worth confirming every detail if something is particularly important to you. All in all, Rachel is a very talented florist who really delivers. She knows what she’s doing, she’s deeply creative, and she’ll deliver a final product that is both stunning and thoughtful. We were thrilled with our flowers and so glad we chose her.

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We contracted Zombie Flowers to provide bouquets for our runway models at Uncon Bridal Con. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!
