Collaborating with people is truly my passion, and when that collaboration entails music, entertainment, and positivity I am at my best! From live music for your ceremony to country or EDM themed receptions. We come together with you to create a wedding that feels like "yours"

Communication! The communication I give and ask from my clients is second to know. From face-to-face visits to simple "check-in" calls, we will be up to date and along the wedding planning journey with you. The last thing I want is for someone to feel like a stranger is coming to DJ their wedding. We also know how to read a room here at RME. We are here to play music for you, not AT you. You have full control from start to finish of the aesthetic and playlist we create for you

    The DJ Every Wedding Needs

    Out of the 100 DJs I’ve worked with over the years, Derek is truly in a class of his own. He’s the most professional, detail-oriented, and downright fun “make-you-want-to-dance-all-night” DJ I’ve ever met. He takes the time to really get to know each couple and goes above and beyond to ensure their reception timeline runs seamlessly. Whenever we coordinate an event together, I like to joke that I can just sit back and relax—because I know Derek is on top of everything. What sets him apart is that he doesn’t just stay behind the booth; he’s out on the dance floor doing line dances with your guests, belting out Taylor Swift, and getting the crowd hyped up. I can’t recommend him enough. If you book with Rios Mios, you won’t just get an incredible DJ—you’ll leave your wedding day with a new friend.

    The execution of everything was beyond perfect. We had a playlist ready to go and he vibed with the crowd and read the dance floor so well. For sure got our groups of friends and family ready to party and kept us all engaged the whole time. If we had to do our reception again, we’d still choose these guys!

    We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! From the start, he was so patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about making sure our reception felt like us. He listened to everything we wanted and helped bring our vision to life. His biggest talent, though, is reading the crowd. He always knew exactly what song to play next to keep people on the dance floor, and somehow it stayed packed all night long! The energy never dropped, and everyone had the best time. We’re so grateful for everything he did to make our reception so much fun. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your day and knows how to keep the party going, we can’t recommend him enough!
