Stumptown Djs
Rating: 5.0 (156 reviews)

Portland, OR
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,500

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

Awarded Best of Zola
Suzanne at Stumptown DJs was an absolute dream to have DJ our wedding. The entire event went so smoothly because of her professionalism, flexibility, and overall attitude. From the ceremony to the grand exit, our songs were played exactly how I envisioned them. Plus, I will never forget that there was a moment during the evening that I wanted to cut short unexpectedly; I glanced at Suzanne, discretely asked for the song to end, and she immediately, and unnoticeably, faded the song out - I was so thankful to her. If we ever need DJ services in the future, we will 100% go with Suzanne again. -B&B

We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou

My non-AI review: I need to start this by saying that I am a picky person - very type A, and I don’t trust people to take control of situations often. However, Hannah is someone I felt comfortable putting my trust in - from the start, she was transparent, knowledgeable, and one of the most competent coordinators I talked to - and I say this because we had booked another coordinator prior to booking Hannah, and the prior coordinator was not good at her job. So when it came to working with Hannah, it was such a refreshing and relieving experience. Take my word for it - this is the person to book if you’re wanting quality and competence in a coordinator - I will vouch for her 100%, she is truly worth the praise. She was extremely professional and personable - basically she took the weight off our minds the whole time - from rehearsal to wedding day. Everything we were stressing about before, we were able to let go of - she took over, which meant decisions were being made and things were getting done. We got sooooo many compliments, even from my really hard to please family and friends - seriously, a huge part of the success of the wedding was Hannah’s planning. The biggest and constant compliments we got was that the wedding had many thoughtful touches, was an actual fun time, and was well scheduled - “everything was seamless” is a compliment we heard a lot - and I agree. She kept the whole day moving forward while delegating and coordinating - I didn’t have a single thing to worry about, which is a rare feeling. She even took videos and photos for us, which I had no idea was happening and was such a thoughtful surprise - it was so beautiful to have an album of memories to look at once the night ended - beautiful memories which was so nice since we knew our photographer would take a while to send us our pictures. In summation, if I had to do it all again, I would go with Hannah every time. All my wedding party and close family that interacted with her was impressed with her skills and the way she directed vendors and handled crowds. We were truly lucky that she was available for our wedding day. Thank you for everything Hannah - you’re a spectacular person and wedding coordinator. I’m forever grateful for you.

Juliana did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I felt so beautiful. She worked with me during the trial to find a style that fulfilled my vision and did an amazing job of integrating flowers into the style. We even changed the style up pretty significantly between the trial and day of and it turned out perfectly. I was so happy with how the make up turned out. I don't wear a lot of make up normally. I felt like Juliana did a great job of creating a photo worthy look that also still felt like me. Both hair and makeup lasted all day long! I was so happy to work with Goddess Glamour. StoryBooth Experience

·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
Portland, OR
  • Event extras
  • Guest book alternatives
  • Starts at $3,499

We’re a premium storytelling studio that brings a pop-up podcast booth to the heart of your wedding day. Think more Soho House than sound booth—elegant, intimate, and beautifully styled. Guests step inside and respond to meaningful, pre-recorded prompts in your voice, sharing love, laughter, and memories. After the wedding, we produce a polished podcast series—complete with music, editing, and heart. It’s the voices of your people, captured forever. More than a guestbook—it’s your story, as an audio heirloom told by the ones who lived it with you.

We were so excited to have found Adam and StoryBooth before our wedding. We weren’t very excited about a videographer but have always loved listening to podcasts together on roadtrips and thought a podcast would be a fun way to remember the day. Enter Adam and his creative solution. He is so easy to work with, and FUN! From the first conversations with him to recording our prompt questions, everything with fun and exciting and comfortable. Our guests also LOVED it. It was something they’d never done, or heard about. They loved hearing their voices in the boom mics. And to be able to have the gift of weekly episodes come out after the wedding-it has helped ease the emotional come down after the wedding. We’re both so glad we found StoryBooth and glad it was available for our day. UPDATE: We are now a few months out from our wedding, and have been listening to episodes on our longer drives. I am rationing them though: only one episode per road trip! I don't want them to end. The final product is so lovely. A personalized podcast episode with a creative summary write up and great audio. It has been the most special way to connect with our guests in a different way. And leaves us with a really amazing memory that we can revisit anytime we are needing to pull at our heart strings! Let those tears of joy flow!

Our wedding was this past Saturday (06.13.2026) at Wind Mountain Ranch and Brooke and the Luxe team absolutely exceeded expectations. Although the investment felt steep at times during planning, it was well worth the cost. Brooke navigated all the fine details, helped flawlessly coordinate the best vendors, and made an amazing day absolutely magical. She helped move things along in the planning process when things got stressful and was even able to manage my mother who had differing design opinions and direction to create something we were both happy with. She listened to everything we wanted, helped us stay in budget, and executed a detailed agenda with grace. Luxe is the real deal and the event ended up better than I could have dreamed of. On top of all of that, Brooke even sent some photos and videos via text following the wedding which I appreciated so much as we await the professional shots. Absolutely 1000% would recommend the Luxe team for your wedding and events! Photos by Summer Grace Photography

Hi! My name is Anna Soco (she/her) and I'm the PNW's premiere Queer wedding officiant and believer in love. My work is rooted in the belief that love is alive, communal, and transformative - and because of that, your wedding ceremony should be, too! I work with soulmates of all kinds to create ceremonies that reflect what truly matters most to you. My clients (y'all!) are my "co" - each new client relationship is an opportunity to learn more about love, together. I adore, appreciate, and learn from each and every one of you. And I never quit rooting for my couples!

We chose Anna (Soco & Co) to officiate our wedding and couldn't have made a better decision! From our first conversation, we felt at ease because of her empathetic approach and genuine interest in getting to know us as a couple. She helped calm our nerves during the vow reading and helped make everything run smoothly. What really stood out was how she told our love story during the ceremony, it felt so authentic and heartfelt that several guests said they felt like she had known us for years. Her articulate delivery and engaging presence made the whole ceremony feel personal and special. We're forever grateful to have had her be such an important part of our day!

Hereafter Films was one of the first vendors we booked early on in the wedding planning process, and we are sooooooo glad we did! Ryan and Sharayah were amazing to work with, along with their entire team. They photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and honestly, both sets of photos came out better than we could have imagined! Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding. We really wanted our day to be captured in a way that felt authentic, emotional, and true to who we are, and Hereafter ABSOLUTELY nailed it! We looked at a lot of photographers, but the second we saw their portfolio, we were sold. Their style immediately stood out, and the fact that they shoot 35mm film was huge for us. The Super 8 option was such a fun bonus and made us even more excited about working with them. Their work feels timeless, intentional, and full of real emotion. On the wedding day itself, it felt incredible knowing we didn’t have to worry about a single thing when it came to photography and video. We trusted their creative process 1000%, and they truly made the entire day feel effortless. They handled our family and friends with so much patience, care, and ease, and so many people kept telling us how wonderful they were. Looking through our photos now instantly brings us right back to how the day felt, which is something we’ll always be grateful for. Beyond their obvious talent and artistry, Ryan and Sharayah are just genuinely awesome, laid-back, fun people to be around, and their calm, cool energy made such a difference. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

I had a wonderful experience working with Lovebug Pictures for multiple weddings as a wedding planner. Their style was documentary, candid, and fun - they captured the day in a natural way that allowed the emotions and energy of the celebration to shine through. The quality of their work was organic, authentic, and absolutely beautiful. The final video was a perfect representation of the day, full of genuine moments and heartfelt details. I would highly recommend Lovebug Pictures to any couple looking for wedding videographers who will beautifully document their special day.

Andy brings so much joy and energy to the planning process and she is incredibly organized. We had some pretty kooky DIY ideas for our wedding, and she was totally on board from day one! Instead of trying to steer us toward a cookie-cutter event, she gave us great advice on how to actually pull our ideas off logistically. On the day of, she and her team managed all those moving parts effortlessly. We couldn't have done it without Double A Weddings!
