Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. Our guests LOVED (1) the decor, (2) the food, and (3) how organized and thoughtful each event was. Throughout the entire wedding journey, Katelyn remained extremely receptive to changes, incredibly attentive to detail, and our biggest friend and advocate. Catelyn secured my hair so well that it did not budge at all, even when I took the veil out and in the intense winds out in the Gorge. “My fiancé and I are getting married in May 2026 and are both pretty camera shy. We knew we wanted to get professional engagement and wedding photos done, but were nervous they would feel inauthentic. When we found Bailey’s page we were so excited about how she captured genuine joy from her couples in some of our favorite natural wonders in Oregon, which put us at ease going into our first conversation with her. Right out of the gate Bailey was incredible helping us feel comfortable with her, giving us resources to help guide our location outfit choices, and making us feel confident that we weren’t going to regret this decision. On the day of our engagement shoot, Bailey showed up at sunrise with us on the Oregon coast and ran around the beach for over 3 hours with us because the lighting kept shifting in such incredible ways through the clouds. Not only that, but she went above and beyond wrangling our dogs while we got some couple shots followed by some with the pups in some truly special family shots we will certainly be hanging up in the house. We had the best time with Bailey and the engagement photos she delivered were beyond anything we could have imagined. The way she captures the little smiles and moments between loved ones is unmatched, and her attention to lighting nuance and details of the natural area you’re in make her photos that much more special. We ended up using some of her photos for our invites and website, but are most excited to frame some for the house to remember forever. We can’t wait to have her as our wedding photographer and couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone looking!”
