Juliana did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I felt so beautiful. She worked with me during the trial to find a style that fulfilled my vision and did an amazing job of integrating flowers into the style. We even changed the style up pretty significantly between the trial and day of and it turned out perfectly. I was so happy with how the make up turned out. I don't wear a lot of make up normally. I felt like Juliana did a great job of creating a photo worthy look that also still felt like me. Both hair and makeup lasted all day long! I was so happy to work with Goddess Glamour. They were very professional, organized and clear on pricing.

Stumptown Djs
Rating: 5.0 (45 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,500

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

As a wedding venue, we know the DJ can make or break the party, and Stumptown DJs consistently delivers an unforgettable experience. Their diverse roster, easy-to-use online system, and professional team make them a dream to work with. I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. Our guests LOVED (1) the decor, (2) the food, and (3) how organized and thoughtful each event was. Throughout the entire wedding journey, Katelyn remained extremely receptive to changes, incredibly attentive to detail, and our biggest friend and advocate. We absolutely could not have had a wedding as sophisticated and beautiful without Katelyn Evans and the YPB crew! - Shishir & Priya

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

Venture Ever After
Rating: 5.0 (20 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

We truly cannot say enough great things about Lauren and all of her work. Right away when we decided to elope, we knew exactly who we wanted to be a part of that day. Deciding to do an elopement and have it filmed was a really important part of being able to share our day with our family and close friends. Lauren beyond exceeded our expectations. The emotion and amount of detail captured from our day was perfect. Not only is she incredibly professional, but she is a joy to work with and makes you feel totally at ease. The positive energy she brings to the day is truly appreciated in what can be a stressful day. Being one of my oldest and best friends, having Lauren capture our day was extra special. I am a firm believer that friendship comes from learning the weird and quirky about a person, and still wanting to hang out with them after. And, since you will literally spend more time with your photographer than most anyone else on your wedding day, I want to be friends. We NEED to be friends. Like, I’ll-probably-end-up-holding-your-dress-up-while-you-pee type friends. That’s practically BFF status. I’m not only in the business of capturing your epically rad and emotional moments, I am also in the business of making lasting friendships, both of which I’m really awesome at.

Dionne was amazing! Our photos turned out beautiful! I have no idea how we will choose which photos to frame!

Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. He helped redirect guests seamlessly when we had to adjust the schedule due to high winds and rain. His musical selections were spot on, providing great background music during dinner and keeping guests engaged on the dancefloor with an intuitive mix of songs we requested along with well-timed classics. Zacch went above and beyond by playing music late into the night after being informed by the camp hosts that he would need to spend the night at the venue due to an atmospheric river and downed trees blocking the road. He kept the party going as late as he could and afterwards spent time chatting fireside as the night wound down. Zacch has a charisma that keeps even your most ornery guests engaged and well behaved. Going into wedding planning my only experience with florals was my weekly purchase of a 3.99 mixed bouquet from Trader Joe’s. We only met with Miranda twice before our wedding, and yet she was the vendor who we knew got our vision, respected us, and would give it her all, and W O W, she delivered!! (Not to exclude she also has awesome referrals, and she’s the reason we found our wedding photographer, and our floral preserver!) I knew going into wedding planning that the beautiful staircases covered in roses would be out of budget, so when I inquired I gave her our budget not knowing what that would get us. At the initial consultation we went over florals I had sent her from Pinterest, and we talked through what I liked about each arrangement, what I didn’t like, and then she walked me through what certain flowers would date our wedding etc. Miranda also went through the types of arrangements we could have at our wedding that would work within with our budget, gave us an idea of how they would look on our wedding day, and then afterwards sent over a vision board, and again, W O W. My husband and I were blown away at how she brought our wedding vision to life! On our wedding day Miranda showed up in full confidence, gave us a sweet card that we later learned had the info of the farms where our flowers came from, and then she created art. We were absolutely blown away at watching her arrange our alter centerpieces, at how beautiful my bouquet was, and just how fast she made the arrangements! We really appreciated how tidy she was, her energy, and all of our guests complimented our florals too! My only regret was not taking any of our arrangements home (we have a cat who would’ve eaten them) but I am so glad that I chose to get my bouquet preserved! We love you Miranda!

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

Her photos are GORGEOUS and watching her interact with the Bride and Groom put everyone at ease. We had John, the owner, as our DJ and really felt taken care of along the entire way; he even learned a song on the guitar to perform for us during our first dance! Thank you, JR team! We will definitely hire you again if there are any further DJ needs!

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am the owner of Baileaves Photography. I am a travel and destination wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the world to create timeless cinematic images of couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
My fiancé and I are getting married in May 2026 and are both pretty camera shy. We knew we wanted to get professional engagement and wedding photos done, but were nervous they would feel inauthentic. When we found Bailey’s page we were so excited about how she captured genuine joy from her couples in some of our favorite natural wonders in Oregon, which put us at ease going into our first conversation with her. Right out of the gate Bailey was incredible helping us feel comfortable with her, giving us resources to help guide our location outfit choices, and making us feel confident that we weren’t going to regret this decision. On the day of our engagement shoot, Bailey showed up at sunrise with us on the Oregon coast and ran around the beach for over 3 hours with us because the lighting kept shifting in such incredible ways through the clouds. Not only that, but she went above and beyond wrangling our dogs while we got some couple shots followed by some with the pups in some truly special family shots we will certainly be hanging up in the house. We had the best time with Bailey and the engagement photos she delivered were beyond anything we could have imagined. The way she captures the little smiles and moments between loved ones is unmatched, and her attention to lighting nuance and details of the natural area you’re in make her photos that much more special. We ended up using some of her photos for our invites and website, but are most excited to frame some for the house to remember forever. We can’t wait to have her as our wedding photographer and couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone looking!

  • Beauty professional
  • Starts at $790

I am a professional makeup artist and hair stylist based in Portland, Oregon. I specialize in the fine art of bridal beauty. My style of makeup achieves a lovely balance of classic bridal glam, while still allowing my brides to look and feel like themselves, and not overdone. I love perfectly imperfect, romantic hair styles and fresh, glowing skin. I work closely with each of my brides to create a beautiful look that is tailored to her own personal style. My work has been featured on The Wedding Chicks, Green Wedding Shoes, 100 Layer Cake and more.

Brittany was an excellent vendor to work with for my wedding! Throughout the entire process, she was responsive, supportive in adjusting schedules as needed, and flexible with my needs. I was able to plan with her to have my hair and makeup trials the morning of my bridal shoot and it turned out perfectly for the photos. On the morning of the wedding, Brittany and her team arrived early to set up and were on time throughout the entire morning for the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids/family. As the bride, Brittany completed my hair and makeup PERFECTLY, and I did not have to touch up hardly at all the entire day- my makeup was on for over 12 hours and looked so good by the end of the night. Highly recommend to all brides!
