Juliana did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I felt so beautiful. She worked with me during the trial to find a style that fulfilled my vision and did an amazing job of integrating flowers into the style. We even changed the style up pretty significantly between the trial and day of and it turned out perfectly. I was so happy with how the make up turned out. I don't wear a lot of make up normally. I felt like Juliana did a great job of creating a photo worthy look that also still felt like me. Both hair and makeup lasted all day long! I was so happy to work with Goddess Glamour. They were very professional, organized and clear on pricing.

Stumptown Djs
Rating: 5.0 (47 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,500

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

Awarded Best of Zola
DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! Stumptown and DJ Steven were very organized and all wedding details were easy to communicate via their portal. We asked a lot from them, and they definitely delivered an amazing event. Big thanks to DJ Steven and Stumptown DJ’s!

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. Our guests LOVED (1) the decor, (2) the food, and (3) how organized and thoughtful each event was. Throughout the entire wedding journey, Katelyn remained extremely receptive to changes, incredibly attentive to detail, and our biggest friend and advocate. We absolutely could not have had a wedding as sophisticated and beautiful without Katelyn Evans and the YPB crew! - Shishir & Priya

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
Leah photographed our wedding at my family's property in Napa Valley, June 2024. Leah took lots of time to scope out the location and seemed to be absolutely *everywhere* during the wedding, at all the right moments. I didn't have to call her over once, because she was already there. She captured the emotions of the day, the little moments, the big moments, and made our day look like the fairytale wedding that it felt like. Once we got the photo gallery back (so quickly!) we relived the day all over again. We were tearing up and laughing at all the photos. I felt like I was looking at photos from a Brides magazine, but it was me! Another thing I'll mention is that Leah gives direction in a kind, calm and encouraging way. My husband is not too confident in photos and he felt SO comfortable posing with her there, and loves his photos too! I felt like she could guide me into more flattering poses when I felt uncertain about my angles. I love Leah and her work and would recommend her to anyone!

Venture Ever After

Portland, OR
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

My non-AI review: I need to start this by saying that I am a picky person - very type A, and I don’t trust people to take control of situations often. However, Hannah is someone I felt comfortable putting my trust in - from the start, she was transparent, knowledgeable, and one of the most competent coordinators I talked to - and I say this because we had booked another coordinator prior to booking Hannah, and the prior coordinator was not good at her job. So when it came to working with Hannah, it was such a refreshing and relieving experience. Take my word for it - this is the person to book if you’re wanting quality and competence in a coordinator - I will vouch for her 100%, she is truly worth the praise. She was extremely professional and personable - basically she took the weight off our minds the whole time - from rehearsal to wedding day. Everything we were stressing about before, we were able to let go of - she took over, which meant decisions were being made and things were getting done. We got sooooo many compliments, even from my really hard to please family and friends - seriously, a huge part of the success of the wedding was Hannah’s planning. The biggest and constant compliments we got was that the wedding had many thoughtful touches, was an actual fun time, and was well scheduled - “everything was seamless” is a compliment we heard a lot - and I agree. She kept the whole day moving forward while delegating and coordinating - I didn’t have a single thing to worry about, which is a rare feeling. She even took videos and photos for us, which I had no idea was happening and was such a thoughtful surprise - it was so beautiful to have an album of memories to look at once the night ended - beautiful memories which was so nice since we knew our photographer would take a while to send us our pictures. In summation, if I had to do it all again, I would go with Hannah every time. All my wedding party and close family that interacted with her was impressed with her skills and the way she directed vendors and handled crowds. We were truly lucky that she was available for our wedding day. Thank you for everything Hannah - you’re a spectacular person and wedding coordinator. I’m forever grateful for you.

Since the moment my husband and I met Lauren at the Portland Wedding Crawl (2 years before our 8.26.22 wedding), we knew we wanted her to capture our day. Anyone who's met her knows how friendly, funny, easy going and creative she is. Follow her instagram and you'll be amazed by her talent! From our first meeting to the day of, we knew we were in good hands with her. Leading up to the big day, she was always accessible for any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, she helped guide some of our movements - which we were so thankful for bc we had no idea how to not look awkward on camera lol. She has this perfect balance of somehow blending into the background while also feeling like one of your besties always by your side. Now how do I put into words the emotion our wedding video evokes in me? We knew her final work of art would be amazing, but we were still blown away when we got our first glimpse! We have rewatched it over and over again and love it a little more each time. We are so grateful we met Lauren and overall so happy with our decision to have a videographer in addition to a photographer. If you are on the fence, take the leap of faith with Lovebug Pictures!

Dionne Kraus Photography

Portland, OR
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,700

I am a firm believer that friendship comes from learning the weird and quirky about a person, and still wanting to hang out with them after. And, since you will literally spend more time with your photographer than most anyone else on your wedding day, I want to be friends. We NEED to be friends. Like, I’ll-probably-end-up-holding-your-dress-up-while-you-pee type friends. That’s practically BFF status. I’m not only in the business of capturing your epically rad and emotional moments, I am also in the business of making lasting friendships, both of which I’m really awesome at.

If you are looking for a rad photographer with all the right vibes Dionne Kraus Photography is the way to go! My Husband and I had a beautiful outdoor wedding in Parkdale, OR overlooking beautiful Mt. Hood that we put in the hands of Dionne Kraus and her team! Dionne and her assistant photographer did a knockout job from start to finish both at our wedding venue as well as at our AirB&B capturing all the preparations with the wedding party and our first look photos. If you are someone who feel a little uncomfortable in front of the camera look no further Dionne is so good at small directions to help you move and hold each other more naturally it just flows. Creating stunning photos. Her husband Craig was our DJ (silicon forest entertainment) and put on a killer performance and kept up the dance vibes all night long, which was all our guests could talk about the next day. Dionne was super fun to work with; her bubbly personality combined with her professionalism and ability to really capture the moment really comes through in the end product. Everything her product offerings had to offer suited us very well and having her husband as a DJ, made this a no brainer for us. If you want the complete wedding package look no further than Dionne Kraus Photography and Silicon Forest Entertainment, they are the best.

Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. Going into wedding planning my only experience with florals was my weekly purchase of a 3.99 mixed bouquet from Trader Joe’s. We only met with Miranda twice before our wedding, and yet she was the vendor who we knew got our vision, respected us, and would give it her all, and W O W, she delivered!! (Not to exclude she also has awesome referrals, and she’s the reason we found our wedding photographer, and our floral preserver!) I knew going into wedding planning that the beautiful staircases covered in roses would be out of budget, so when I inquired I gave her our budget not knowing what that would get us. At the initial consultation we went over florals I had sent her from Pinterest, and we talked through what I liked about each arrangement, what I didn’t like, and then she walked me through what certain flowers would date our wedding etc. Miranda also went through the types of arrangements we could have at our wedding that would work within with our budget, gave us an idea of how they would look on our wedding day, and then afterwards sent over a vision board, and again, W O W. My husband and I were blown away at how she brought our wedding vision to life! On our wedding day Miranda showed up in full confidence, gave us a sweet card that we later learned had the info of the farms where our flowers came from, and then she created art. We were absolutely blown away at watching her arrange our alter centerpieces, at how beautiful my bouquet was, and just how fast she made the arrangements! We really appreciated how tidy she was, her energy, and all of our guests complimented our florals too! My only regret was not taking any of our arrangements home (we have a cat who would’ve eaten them) but I am so glad that I chose to get my bouquet preserved! We love you Miranda!

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

Skylar was an incredible vendor to work with! She was kind, funny and on top of it no matter what the situation was. When it comes to photography this women has the natural ability to turn something beautiful into something magnificent! She shot my couple at Skamania Lodge and given with chilly November weather, Skylar kept up a great attitude and made sure my clients and their guests were happy. The photos me and my team received where impeccable! Don't believe me? Go check out her Instagram and let it speak for itself! Not only does Skylar have the utmost skill but her husband Jimmy is also just as talented with videography. If you need a photo/video duo this is definitely your couple! I will continue to speak highly of them and recommend them to all my future clients!

I always felt like I was in the best hands when I was with her. She was professional, warm, and insightful during the entire process. The minute I met her, I felt like I’d known her for a lifetime. I’m so thankful I was able to work with her! She knows her stuff! Her energy is so warm and accommodating. I felt like I could really be honest with her about my vision and she would genuinely understand. Caitlyn is not only a talented individual, she’s also one of the most down to earth humans you’ll ever meet.

JR Music Collective
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Solo performer
  • Starts at $2,000

JR Music Collective got its start with the simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized JR Music Collective with an award in 2013. The collective has gone on to win awards every year since. We have a talented group of musicians and DJs waiting to make your day wonderful.

JR Music Collective made our music planning process so easy with their detailed questionnaire. The day of the wedding, our DJ / musician (Kelly) arrived on time and got all set up, making this process stress-free for my fiance and I. If I were to to this all again, I’d choose JR Music Collective again!

Hey, I’m Katie! I’m a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon, and I love capturing real moments, happy tears, and all the beautiful chaos that makes your wedding day special. I focus on candid, heartfelt images with a timeless feel. Photos that bring you right back to the laughter, nerves, and that “we did it” moment. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a mom to two humans and three fur babies, married to my high school sweetheart for 19 years. You’ll usually find me with coffee in hand, rewatching Gilmore Girls, or scrolling TikTok a little longer than I should.

From start to finish Katie was amazing! When my wife and I started wedding planning we specifically looked for LGBTQ friendly vendors and Katie stood out. Her photography and editing is gorgeous and we knew we had to choose her! We took our engagement photos only a month before our wedding and Katie made sure we got our photos in time to be able to use them at our wedding. From planning to the actual day Katie made everything smooth, fun and easy. Our photos turned out amazing and we got sneak peaks less than a week after our wedding. I cannot thank her enough for capturing our special day so perfectly!! Highly recommend

Tyler was both professional and easy going! He was reassuring about our outdoor venue and backdrop choices. He listened to our requests and was able to adapt quickly, capturing some beautiful posed and candid moments. He is mindful of backdrop and directed folks kindly, moving purses and plants to frame us. The photos turned out well lit framed and easily downloadable. So I could share them right way.

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am the owner of Baileaves Photography. I am a travel and destination wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the world to create timeless cinematic images of couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
My fiancé and I are getting married in May 2026 and are both pretty camera shy. We knew we wanted to get professional engagement and wedding photos done, but were nervous they would feel inauthentic. When we found Bailey’s page we were so excited about how she captured genuine joy from her couples in some of our favorite natural wonders in Oregon, which put us at ease going into our first conversation with her. Right out of the gate Bailey was incredible helping us feel comfortable with her, giving us resources to help guide our location outfit choices, and making us feel confident that we weren’t going to regret this decision. On the day of our engagement shoot, Bailey showed up at sunrise with us on the Oregon coast and ran around the beach for over 3 hours with us because the lighting kept shifting in such incredible ways through the clouds. Not only that, but she went above and beyond wrangling our dogs while we got some couple shots followed by some with the pups in some truly special family shots we will certainly be hanging up in the house. We had the best time with Bailey and the engagement photos she delivered were beyond anything we could have imagined. The way she captures the little smiles and moments between loved ones is unmatched, and her attention to lighting nuance and details of the natural area you’re in make her photos that much more special. We ended up using some of her photos for our invites and website, but are most excited to frame some for the house to remember forever. We can’t wait to have her as our wedding photographer and couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone looking!
