Allison and Matt are true professionals!!! They make all your dreams come true on your special day- going above and beyond to make the entire process feel so natural and fun, removing the stress. Their work truly speaks for itself. Coming prepared with everything you could need on your day, They make the perfect team so you can have your perfect day. Matt also did our wedding anniversary tattoos , and being my FIRST EVER tattoo experience , he made the entire process so wonderful. He didn’t care at all that I changed my mind about 4x leading up to the day about what I wanted to get and continued to design new ideas for me to consider. we’ve hired Allison several times in the past (Allison Slater Photography!) to capture our special moments throughout the years and she never lets us down, only improving year after year!!!

It actually took me a while to write this review, simply because I couldn’t find the right words to fully capture how incredible this team truly is and how much they meant to us on our wedding day. From the moment we got engaged, there was never a question about who we wanted as our photographer. We had been following Allison for years, and I always knew that if the day ever came, she would be the one capturing it. When we finally reached out a few years later, Allison was everything we had hoped for and so much more. She is one of the most humble, genuine, creative, and down-to-earth people we have ever met. From the very beginning, it was clear that she pours her whole heart into what she does. She doesn’t just show up to take photos — she truly cares about bringing your vision to life and making your day feel exactly the way you dreamed it would. And she absolutely delivers. Throughout the entire planning process, Allison, Matt, and Sam were always there for us. Any question we had, any idea we wanted to talk through, they were there with guidance, patience, and so much kindness. We met several times leading up to the wedding, and every conversation left me feeling more calm, more confident, and more excited. They helped with everything from the timeline, to locations, to making sure the entire day felt intentional and meaningful. The one thing my husband and I wanted most on our wedding day was peace. We didn’t want stress or chaos — we just wanted to be present and soak in every moment. And Allison, Sabrina, and Matt gave us exactly that. I truly cannot imagine our wedding day going any smoother or feeling any more effortless. Allison was constantly checking in on me, fixing my dress, making sure everything looked perfect, and just quietly making everything run seamlessly behind the scenes. Sabrina was my personal hype woman all day long — lifting me up, making me laugh, and reminding me to soak in every moment. Matt was there capturing everything so beautifully for our film, making sure that every meaningful moment was preserved. They weren’t just vendors that day — they became part of the experience, part of the memories, and honestly felt like friends. Even now, my family talks about them almost daily since the wedding. That alone says so much about the energy, kindness, and care they bring with them. And then there are the photos. Not only are they some of the kindest and most hardworking people you will ever meet, but the art they create is truly breathtaking. The lighting, the emotion, the storytelling in every image — it all perfectly captured the feeling of our day. Nothing ever felt forced or awkward. Everything felt natural, comfortable, and real, which allowed us to just be ourselves and enjoy every moment. Looking through our photos brings us right back to those feelings all over again, and that is a gift I will cherish forever. Choosing Uncharted Elopements was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day — second only to marrying my husband, of course. If you have the opportunity to work with them, know that you are not just hiring photographers or videographers. When we first started planning our elopement, we had absolutely no idea where to begin! No sense of what to expect, where to go, or how the process even worked. Working with Uncharted changed everything. From the very beginning, they put our anxiety at ease. They broke the planning process into simple, manageable steps and checked in with us multiple times along the way. Their recommendations were spot‑on, and their expertise led us to the most incredible locations and vendors. It truly felt like we had someone guiding us who knew exactly how to bring our vision to life. On the day of our elopement, the experience was even better than we imagined. We never felt rushed or stressed. In fact, we felt completely at ease. Having them there felt like spending the day with friends who happened to be capturing every moment beautifully. Even while we were getting our tattoos done, they were right there chatting with us, making everything feel natural and fun. And the photos… OMG. We ended up with rare hurricane rain in Sedona on our wedding day, which I was initially worried about. But the moody, dramatic vibe it created in our images turned out to be absolutely stunning. They captured the essence of our day perfectly. If you’re considering eloping, take this as your sign! Our wedding day felt entirely our own, free from outside expectations, and we wouldn’t change a thing. Truly the best day of our lives.

There are not enough stars to give Uncharted Elopements, and there certainly aren't enough words to explain how amazing they are either. My now husband and I met Allison and Sam on a Zoom call last year to get some information about possibly eloping, and by the end of the call we were booked- and it was the best decision we made. Allison helped us pick the location of our dreams that matched all of the vibes we were seeking, without us even having gone there ourselves before. She helped plan the day by truly understanding what we wanted, gave local recommendations for stay and vendors, and checked in consistently up until our wedding day. When Allison and Matt arrived it was like they were two life-long close friends hyping us up, helping us get ready, and making the day feel so calm, comfortable and fun. They even scouted our first look spot the day before, leaving it a total surprise to us, and it surpassed what we ever could have imagined. The entire day felt like time stopped, never once checking our phones/time or feeling like we were rushed or on a schedule. They gave us space and privacy, while also leading us to insanely stunning spots and being down for whatever we wanted our day to look like- and no one could have prepared us for how special, intimate, and breathtaking of a day it would truly be. Now for the photos... we received sneak peeks AND our full gallery in record time. Uncharted completely overdelivered in the best way, leaving us speechless with every photo. Every tear, laugh, and emotion is so effortlessly present and beautifully captured. We could not recommend working with Uncharted Elopements more, especially if you are eloping without any other family or friends present. It's important who you have by your side on the most special day of your life, and we could not be happier that it was them.
