Hi, I’m Megan! Your personal hype girl, professional third wheel, and biggest cheerleader on your wedding day! When I’m not capturing love stories, you can usually find me hunting down the perfect slice of pizza, sipping champagne with friends, getting lost in a mystery novel, or planning my next adventure. I believe the best photos happen when you feel comfortable, present, and completely yourself, so I bring a fun, laid-back energy while making sure every meaningful moment is beautifully documented. My goal is simple: to create timeless, heartfelt images that let you relive the joy, emotion, and magic of your wedding day for years to come.

I'm not the photographer who spends the entire day barking poses or turning your celebration into a photoshoot. Instead, I'm there to keep things flowing smoothly, hype you up when you need it, fluff your dress, fix your veil, and somehow become everyone's new best friend by the end of the night. My couples want beautiful, timeless images but they also want to actually enjoy their wedding day. They care about the thoughtful details, the emotional moments, the packed dance floor, and the people they love most. My approach blends classic elegance with genuine emotion, creating photographs that feel effortless, joyful, and authentically you.

We knew Megan Rae Photography was the right choice after our first conversation she was organized, answered every question we had, and kept us in the loop throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day, she surprised us with a thoughtful touch and made us feel at ease, which really showed in our photos. Her work is stunning. Every image captures the emotion and joy of the day in a way that takes our breath away. Our favorite pictures are ones we didn't even know she was taking, those candid moments that tell the real story of our wedding. Megan's attention to detail and the beauty of her final gallery exceeded what we imagined possible. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Megan Rae Wedding Photos
My husband and I absolutely adored Megan and had the best experience working with her. She took the time to really understand and appreciate our vision for our wedding day and captured all of the special moments in a way that brings us right back to all the feelings of the day every time we look at them. She made us feel like celebrities and was so mindful of our wishes and priorities throughout the process. She also spent extra time coming to our welcome party the night before and staying late when we were behind schedule, as well as finding a moment for us to sneak away during our reception and take additional couple portraits that we missed during family photos. She went above and beyond, and we got our full gallery back so quickly! We will cherish our photos forever!

Professional, personal & eye for detail
Megan went above and beyond all of our expectations. We live in Minnesota and she traveled all the way from Arizona for our wedding. She was so professional and yet personal. We planned on our ceremony being outdoors but minutes before it was supposed to start, it began pouring. Megan was able to quickly change the vision of the photographs and they turned out perfect! Her eye for detail is outstanding. We could not be more happier :)

Just Wonderful!!
Megan was an absolute delight to work with and such a talented photographer! She is also so kind and brings an ease with her that made my husband and me comfortable in front of the camera. We did an engagement session together and that really made the wedding day so comfortable. Megan goes above and beyond and is generous with her time - she offered to come earlier than our contracted time to make sure she had enough time to prep and shoot detailed photos, and was always open to speaking on the phone and collaborating together. On top of it all, Megan was so fast in sending our wedding gallery after the wedding. We are so so happy we found her to photograph our wedding and we definitely recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful photos!! Thank you Megan!! :)
