Typically, couples book me about 9-13 months before their wedding date, but I have worked on timelines as short as 3 weeks, and others have booked as far out as 2 years. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, no matter the time frame.
I do bring one assistant photographer for different durations, depending on the package you choose. You can request the second shooter stay longer, even for the smaller packages, but fees will apply accordingly. I try to make them as affordable as possible so you can build your dream package!
Definitely, all edits are made by me. My retouching policy is as follows: The 3 Day Rule: If it wouldn’t naturally disappear, couldn’t be removed, or applied to or from you in three days, it stays. Stubborn acne, bruises and scrapes can lightly go, but your tattoos will remain. Brightening of eyes and teeth are dependent on situational lighting.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible, but I can refer you to some awesome videographers if requested!
My turnaround time varies by season, but all my packages offer a 24-48hr preview of 20+ images, and estimate a month for your online galleries to be sent!
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 4 years of experience as a wedding photographer, and 7 as an event photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
For any personal use, like to create a background or personal print- yes, of course! For any public posting or promotion, I would love to be notified so that I could work with you and make those re-edits myself for you. At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure you’re happy with the images! This goes for B&W images as well- If you want to see a B&W in color, or vice versa, just gimme a buzz!
30% of the Base Package (excluding Travel Fees and Add-Ons) is required to secure contract price. Contract and Retainer are due within 24 hours of each other. Travel Fees, any Add-Ons, and the remaining 70% are due by Contracted Event Date. I would love to chat more with you about these details - specific to your wedding.
Ain’t no thang! You can always let me know if you’d prefer that I take creative liberties as I shoot and edit. Every client, couple, and person is different! We can definitely chat about what you like (and don’t like) when it comes to different images beforehand so that I have a good feel for your personal taste & you can mix & match styles in your gallery!
