Indigo Beauty Collective is a team of expert hair and makeup artists providing on-site beauty services for weddings and events in Nashville and beyond, with a calm, thoughtful approach to beauty. Founded by Katie-Laine Thornton, a makeup artist with over 20 years of experience, Indigo was created for those who want to feel polished and radiant—without feeling overdone. Our clients tend to be discerning, a little eclectic, and more interested in feeling like themselves than fitting into a trend. We believe beauty should feel easy, collaborative, and personal.

Our goal is to empower you to feel like the most polished, radiant version of yourself. At Indigo Beauty Collective, we’re deeply committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming experience for everyone we work with. We take care in pairing you with an artist who feels like the right fit, so you can relax and feel fully taken care of. At Indigo Beauty Collective, we value uniqueness and work to celebrate your individuality. We use our knowledge and experience with global skin tones and hair textures to create custom looks to suit each individual person.     Absolute perfection!

    Katie-Laine at Indigo Beauty Collective made our elopement day so special. She was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable from the start. Her humor kept us laughing while she worked on my hair and makeup, and the communication throughout the whole process was smooth. What really impressed us was how long everything lasted, my makeup stayed flawless all day and my hair held up perfectly through our photos and adventure. Katie-Laine cared about getting every detail right and it showed. I would absolutely recommend her to any couple looking for a beauty professional who is both skilled and genuinely fun to be around.

    The Best!

    Katie-Laine and Dani were so amazing to work with and so genuinely kind and patient. The made me and my bridesmaids all feel so beautiful and we raked in compliments all night and the make up never smudges while also never feeling heavy. They were so nice and fun while we were getting ready, the vibes were truly immaculate. Couldn’t recommend them more!

    Wonderful Experience!

    Katie-Laine and her team are wonderful! I am so happy I found them. From the trial run to the wedding day, she made me feel so beautiful. Their team is easy to work with throughout the whole planning process, they also want to hear your feedback and will adjust anything to ensure you are happy. They made the day of stress-free and all of my wedding party agreed they felt and looked amazing. Would highly recommend them!!

    HOLY COW!!!

    Where do I begin?? Okay, to start, my stylist was Miss Cat. She is a absolute GEM. She was incredibly kind, considerate, friendly, and professional. My wedding party was rather small (Me: bride, matron of honor, mother of the bride) so Miss Cat was great with her flexibility about the timeline. She took my inspiration photos for makeup and knocked it completely out of the park. My matron of honor looked precious, and my mom??? One of my friends called my mom "hot" and they were not wrong. Miss Cat took all of our features and amplified the best of each of us. And on top of that? Not a SINGLE thing moved. My face? Snatched. My hair? Sweaty but PERFECT. Are you kidding me? I fully feared that the beautiful makeup would slough off because I am a Sweaty Betty. You could've dunked me in a tank and not a single lash would've been out of place. Miss Cat, you made me feel like an absolute fairy princess (mixed with a little bit of a hot space alien and gorgeous Greek goddess), and I can't thank you enough! I wish you all the best, and good luck with nursing school!!!

    I cannot recommend Indigo Beauty Collective enough. I was so worried about hiring professionals for my hair and make up, because I’ve never had a great experience in the past. After my trial I knew I made the right choice! Cat listened to exactly what I wanted - to look natural but still feel elevated and beautiful - and she delivered exactly that. Leading up to the big day, they were clear, thorough, and responsive throughout all their communications. I seriously do not have enough words for how happy I was with both my trial and day of experience - I would highly recommend them to any new brides!!
