Hello! I'm Happy! I'm a makeup artist whose work focuses on music artists and commercial productions, but I've come to love weddings just as much! My fun, easy-going personality makes clients feel comfortable and relaxed. I love meeting new people and can adapt to any situation. I look forward to working with you!

I have a broad range of clients and working experiences so I'm very flexible. I used to own a custom cake business and loved spending time getting to know my couples and being a part of their big day. Makeup allows me to continue to do that!

Enjoy an exclusive, elevated makeup + hair experience for your wedding when you want all the attention just for yourself!

  • 2 Hours of Touchups
You need both, a completed, signed contract and a retainer paid within 48 hours. No dates are held without both of these. Retainers are non refundable. The balance is due 14 days before the wedding as one payment. Individual payments from the bridal party are not accepted unless it's an add on service the day of the wedding. Gratuity can be paid either with your balance or on the day of the wedding if you prefer.
I've never missed a wedding yet, but on the off chance it happens I have many other awesome artists that can fill in if available. As a last resort if I cannot secure another artist I will refund ALL retainers and payments, INCLUDING your bridal preview/trial payments so that you are fully reimbursed. I believe in going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
NOW!!! Many brides are waiting until a couple months before their wedding to book based on information on wedding sites or bridal magazines. Don't wait! I'm already booking 2027 dates!

    Amazing!

    Happy did such an amazing job on my makeup and was exactly what I wanted! I’m so glad I trusted her to do my makeup for my reception! My makeup lasted the entire night in the humidity and rain. Highly recommend!

    Best HMU Crew for your wedding!

    Happy and Alena were the absolute best team to have around on my wedding day. They were kind, helpful and such a nice calming presence. I decided to change my hair completely the day of the wedding and Alena delivered the exactly what I had in mind. Happy was great with listening to my vision and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Everyone's hair and makeup looked great throughout the day even with the June heat and humidity.

    Belle of the ball

    From the moment I connected with Happy Payne, I knew she understood exactly what I was looking for. She responded right away to all my questions and made me feel heard throughout the entire process. During my trial, Happy picked up on details about my skin tone that I hadn't even considered and adjusted my look perfectly and it was like she saw the full picture before I did. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond by adding a subtle glimmer that I didn't ask for initially but absolutely loved, and she kept checking in to make sure everything felt right as she worked. I was constantly changing my mind about what I wanted, and she handled every single request with grace and patience. Happy made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself, and I'll never forget how special she made me feel.

    Great Team

    Her team was super professional and personable. They were able to work with a variety of skin types from women in their early twenties to late 70s. Everyone felt beautiful!
