Hey there! We are Hellen + Rafael and we are the photographer and videographer behind the lens! We have been married for 5 years and we love doing life together! That is why we joined our forces 5 years ago to create Hellen Oliveira Photography. We have a passion for capturing your special moments and making them last a lifetime! We are in Atlanta, GA - but we love to travel and will go anywhere to tell a good love story! Get to know us better and say hi!

We are one team providing both photos AND video, you will only have to book One vendor that provides both services, so less emailing back and forth, less phone meetings, less timelines, etc... You will get our personalized attention for both services!

From our first conversation, Hellen CO Photos Films made communication feel effortless and stress-free. She knew our venue inside and out, which meant she'd already scouted the best spots for photos before our big day even arrived. Even though I'm terrible at posing for pictures, Hellen worked with me patiently and made the whole process feel natural. She captured every important moment—we jokingly call her our paparazzi because she was that good at blending in while getting incredible shots. Her attention to detail really set her apart, and she delivered everything on time with no hiccups. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to document our wedding.

Captured the day perfectly
From our first conversation, Hellen understood what we wanted for our wedding day. She stayed in touch leading up to the wedding and was quick to respond whenever we had questions or feedback. On the day of the event, she worked seamlessly with our other vendors and brought our vision to life through her lens. Her photos capture a beautiful blend of creative shots, candid moments, and editorial-style images that tell our story. Beyond her talent behind the camera, Hellen is genuinely nice and a pleasure to be around. We couldn't be happier with how she documented our special day and would recommend her to any couple looking for a photographer who is both skilled and easy to work with.

Amazing Team!!
Hellen and Rafael beautifully captured every moment of our journey, including our engagement photos, private wedding ceremony, and finally our traditional wedding celebration. Our private ceremony, set in the North Georgia mountains, turned into an impromptu adventure when a surprise winter storm completely changed our plans. Despite the snowy and challenging conditions, Hellen and Rafael didn’t hesitate to make the trip. They arrived with such professionalism and calm, capturing the day flawlessly as if nothing had changed. With our timeline completely thrown off and the original plan to travel to a church in town no longer possible, our intimate gathering turned into a DIY celebration. Immediate family members became the kitchen crew, bartenders, and even the officiant! Through all of this, Hellen and Rafael embraced the chaos, adapted seamlessly, and documented the day in the most beautiful and meaningful way. The video they curated from that snowy day is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We were equally grateful to have them return in May to capture our wedding celebration with all of our friends and extended family. Once again, their talent, professionalism, and dedication shined through. We are so thankful we chose Hellen and Rafael to document our most cherished moments. Their commitment to their clients, clear communication, and ability to adapt to the unexpected make them truly exceptional. We can't wait to work with them again for future family milestones. My mom made the initial contact with Hellen during the beginning stages of wedding planning. My fiancé and I live in another state,so we relied heavily on my mom’s investigation. In looking over Hellen’s work prior to meeting her, we were just in awe. Everything was so beautifully presented and so artfully edited. Her talent just left from the page. Tommy and i had an initial get to know you phone call, which was amazing. Hellen really took the time to learn about us, our personalities, and our wedding photo desires. She takes the relationship with her clients very seriously, which i later understood why this is so unique and important on your wedding day. We booked Hellen for every aspect of our wedding season- engagement photos all the way through the big day. Our wedding was an entire weekend; welcome party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. We opted to book Hellen for the every event of the weekend along with here his and to do videography(a drone no less). These two are an amazing team. The love they have for each other and the passion they have for photography made our weekend perfect. Hellen listened to every thought I had with regards to photos I really wanted, she walked us through how everything would go, and was so patient with us every step of the way. Our wedding theme was a unique mixture of things we love with a lot of very intentional details, and Hellen captured every thoughtful aspect of our wedding theme beautifully. BEST DAY EVER!!
Hellen and Rafael made our wedding day so special and stress-free. I can't recommend them enough. Communication all around was excellent and they were so fun to work with. The pictures are stunning and exactly what we wanted. 10/10!!
