“I had the honor of being the first big event that was hosted at this new location. The owners were extremely accommodating and responsive. They allowed me to pick a ceremony spot in the woods on this property and once I chose a place they adjusted the landscaping to accommodate for the event. I had only about 30 people attend the ceremony. Getting married in the woods in Oregon gave it an ethereal, beautiful feel that honestly turned out even better than I had expected. For the reception, I had about 102 guests, and they were able to accommodate this by opening up the folding glass doors on one side and having tables inside and outside and hung curtains on the west side of the porch area to keep guests from getting blasted by the setting sun. I also was wanted lawn games for kids and interested adults to have as an option and they made sure they had plenty of options(giant jenga, corn hole, bocce ball, giant connect four, and a couple others I think). I think this was especially a huge hit with kids and the more introverted guests. Additionally, they had multiple areas with outdoor furniture that allowed people different areas to sit and relax and chat, I found all of these areas occupied when the sun started setting and people enjoying chatting with each other. The bar inside the venue is small but was able to accommodate what we needed it for, we purchased two smaller kegs(one cider, one beer) since they had two taps at the bar, and some wine for the wine cooler and we had two different juice options. This was cool since we didn’t want to purchase too much alcohol but still gave our guests options. The venue owners also connected me to a flower vendor who was very friendly and a lot cheaper than other flower vendors, and he was located 10 minutes down the road from the venue which made pick up easy. They also have a walk in cooler so we were able to store flowers and food items until they were needed. All in all, they day went better than I expected, having as big of a family as I do, I’m almost always expecting things to go wrong but everything went so smoothly and was such a dream!”

“My husband and I had the tremendous good fortune to have Ashley as our coordinator and florist for our wedding this May. What Ashley does goes so far beyond the scope of a typical day or month-of coordinator. We met with Ashley monthly for an entire year leading up to the wedding. She had so many smart ideas and insights throughout the process, kept us on track, and even drove an hour plus away to do a site tour with us. I am a little socially anxious and could imagine feeling awkward day-of around a coordinator I had only talked to a couple times. Instead, Ashley felt like a good friend who we knew we could trust completely. If you are a couple on a budget like we were, know that Ashley’s services are an incredible value for your money (raise your prices girl). After working with her for a few months, we decided to also hire her to do our florals. Having one fewer vendor to wrangle and having our florist present for the whole event was amazing. Nestled in the trees on Parrett Mountain, our wine tasting room is a cozy, inviting lodge-style experience. Drink wine by the fire or sit outside for a fantastic view of Mt. St. Helens between the trees. Construction of the building incorporated Cedar, Fir, and Maple harvested from our property. This wood was used for the siding, along with the 3 bars: Cedar, Fir and Maple live edge slabs. At the center of the building stands the top of the Cedar tree, standing 28 feet tall. Specializing in Big Bold Reds, we also have some award-winning Pinot Noir and white wines as well as local beer on tap. Our tasting room is a versatile space for hosting many events: private tastings, meetings, birthdays, small casual weddings, and more. Events must be catered. We have preferred caterers but will consider outside caterers as requested. We can seat 64-70 people inside and on the patio, but allow a maximum of 85 guests per event. We have 45 parking spots and 2 Tesla Charging stations.

“I highly recommend PDX DJs. The owner Sean is attentive and respectful. I had every question answered when I first signed on to work with PDX DJs. I also loved their transparent pricing - it's pretty rare that a company touts transparent pricing, and actually means it. Especially in the wedding industry, it was such a breath of fresh air to just have a vendor be straightforward, honest, and not try to upsell us or misrepresent pricing/fees etc. Steven was our DJ and he listened to everything we wanted & delivered. I had a very specific timeline including emcee cues & music for the pre ceremony & ceremony, and I was a little nervous that with only one meeting beforehand there was room for error. But these guys are professionals, asked questions about anything that was unclear in our meeting, and executed everything perfectly. We provided our must plays for the reception, and Steven texted me before hand asking if he could swap one of our picks with a remix version of the same song. I'd never heard of the remix but said go ahead! Now that song stands out to me as one of my favorite moments from the reception and is always tied to our wedding day.
