Hi there! I'm Makayla, a Portland-Metro area based (but available for travel!) Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist with a huuuge passion for all things beauty. I truly appreciate the way makeup and hair styling can enhance natural beauty, and I love being apart of my clients big day!

I love looks that are as beautiful in person as they are on camera. For this, I keep my kit stocked with a variety of high-quality, professional makeup and hair products and pride myself in the ability to complete any look on any age, skin-type, tone, and texture. In the beauty industry, things are always changing and I work hard to stay up to date on all the latest styles, trends, products + more!

What’s included

It all starts with your initial inquiry where I’ll confirm I’m available for your requested date. Then, to officially secure your date and potential trial run, I do require a $125 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and a signed contract. I book on a first come, first serve basis, so securing your date early is always a good idea. And that’s it! You're able to edit + add services to your contract until 2 months out from the big date!
Heck yeah! We’ll glam all the girls you want! However, more services or tighter timelines, can mean additional stylists are needed. Additional artists do incur additional fees where applicable. Let’s chat about how many services you’re looking for and I can provide you with a quote.
I will reach out 2-3 months before your wedding date to schedule your preview, so keep an eye on your inbox during this time. Trial runs take place at my beauty studio located in SE Portland.
No problem! You’ll have until 2 months out (60 DAYS) from your wedding date to add/remove services from your Contract. Any services removed after this time period will be charged 50% of the service.
As far as you'd like me to go! Travel fees are based on mileage.
The sooner the better! I usually book 6-12 months in advance on a first come first serve basis!
Definitely! Some brides love the look of adding hair extensions and I’m happy to do them! There is a small additional fee for this service, due to the extra time it takes, and you must supply the hair extensions. I have recommendations on where to look + purchase if you’re unsure.

    Perfect Perfect Perfect!

    Makayla did the most amazing job with my bridal hair and my sister’s hair for the wedding. My vision was executed perfectly and my sister and I truly could not have been happier with our hair. Makayla brings a fun energy to the bridal suite and from start to finish was enthusiastic and incredibly easy to work with. Not only did she perfectly execute our hair visions, she also offered my mom (who did her own hair) great tips for the day and future events and gave me fantastic pointers on event makeup as I was doing my own makeup. Makayla was fantastic and really set the tone for a great wedding day. I could not recommend her more. [from the mother of the bride] Makayla did hair for my two daughters at my daughter‘s wedding. Not only did Makayla show up with a great attitude, a lot of support and encouragement, but she took their vision to heart and made it even more beautiful than they could have ever imagined. She gave us tips for continued ways to make event hairdos look great and left us feeling positive about the day. She is tremendous at executing a vision, offers great suggestions about how to implement that vision or change it if necessary in a supportive, profession and kind manner. I highly recommend her, even more than this review might suggest. I was literally in tears of joy, when I saw the finish results.

    Perfect Look from the Kindest Person

    Makayla G Beauty was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding day! From the moment I first reached out, her communication was quick, helpful and so kind. She arrived on time and ready to go right when we discussed. Having her do our hair and makeup felt like having another girlfriend there to help us get ready. Makayla's skills are truly incredible, and the hair and makeup she did for myself and my bridesmaids stayed flawless all day long. The quality of her work was top notch, and we all looked absolutely gorgeous. Words can't express how sweet and easy to talk to Makayla is - she made the entire experience an absolute pleasure. I would recommend her to any bride in a heartbeat!
