My approach is relaxed, low-pressure, and focused on helping you actually enjoy your wedding day instead of feeling like you’re stuck in a photoshoot. I’m there for the happy tears, crooked boutonnières, champagne spills, big hugs, terrible dance moves, and all the little moments that end up meaning the most. Most of my couples don’t want their wedding to feel overly staged or like one long photo shoot. They just want beautiful photos, a fun day with their favorite people, and someone who makes them feel comfortable being themselves - and that’s exactly how I work.
Couples tell me one of the things they appreciated most was how comfortable and easy I made the whole experience feel. I’m not going to make you spend your wedding day posing nonstop or stress about making everything look perfect. I’ll guide you when you need it, keep things relaxed, and capture the people, emotions, and little moments that matter most.

Amazingly Talented
From start to finish Katie was amazing! When my wife and I started wedding planning we specifically looked for LGBTQ friendly vendors and Katie stood out. Her photography and editing is gorgeous and we knew we had to choose her! We took our engagement photos only a month before our wedding and Katie made sure we got our photos in time to be able to use them at our wedding. From planning to the actual day Katie made everything smooth, fun and easy. Our photos turned out amazing and we got sneak peaks less than a week after our wedding. I cannot thank her enough for capturing our special day so perfectly!! Highly recommend

Very talented and kind
Katie is a talented and kind photographer. Her talent shows through her photo gallery, which initially prompted me to reach out to her. It was great to get to know Katie. She is very approachable and easy to talk to, she knows her stuff, and she was easy to get a hold of- promptly responding to any question we had. We appreciated that she met with us at the venue a couple of months before our wedding to go over the timeline and shots. She was on top of everything on our wedding day, and helped us with the picture poses (as we are not naturals!). She provided us with the sneak peaks just a few days after our wedding which we loved!! The pictures came out how I’d hoped for- she put a lot of care into the editing, and we are very happy with how everything came out. Absolutely beautiful wedding photos
Katie was so wonderful to work with! We looked at a lot of her work and were convinced to hire her based on her great outdoor photography because we knew we were going to have an outdoor wedding. We also liked that she does engagement shoots as well as weddings. We’re really glad we did our engagement photos with her, so we could meet her and get comfortable. We were super nervous and awkward for our engagement shoot, but that taught us a lot about her style and what WE needed to do to feel more comfortable. When it came time for the wedding, we felt comfortable enough to let her know we were feeling worried about looking stupid in our photos. Then, on the wedding day, everything went great! As the bride, I especially felt like she was really there to support me and make sure I was feeling comfortable and not overwhelmed with the photo shoot aspect of the day. She also did a great job of referring to the list of shots we needed with our families. We knew she did great wedding work, but we were still honestly blown away when we got our sneak peaks a couple days after our wedding. And again when we got the full gallery of SO many amazing photos. She made us look good and captured so many beautiful moments from our day. The day was SUCH a blur for us but it’s amazing to know that we have such wonderful photos to look back on. I can’t wait to print some and fill our home with memories! We would also absolutely go back to Katie for future babies, family photos etc

Katie was a DREAM!!!
There are hardly words to describe how grateful we are to have worked with Katie! She captured our wedding day in a way that absolutely exceeded our hopes and expectations. She was so easy to work with, super flexible, super communicative, super helpful. She helped us get organized and advised us in ways to help the day run smoothly (both from a photography perspective and from a general logistics point of view as well). Her turn around time on photos was exceptionally quick and we have loved seeing our day through her lens. We cannot recommend Katie enough!!
