Hey there! I'm Katie, a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. Capturing magical moments through photography is my passion and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to do what I love for a living. My goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that will transport you back to your wedding day every time you look at them. Aside from being a photographer, I'm also a mom to two human kids and 3 fur babies, and I've been married to my high school sweetheart/boy next door for 17 years. I love coffee, Gilmore Girls, and scrolling TikTok ;p

I'm all about capturing the romance and magic that makes each couple unique. I love really getting to know my couples so that every shot reflects their style and personalities. My attention to detail and commitment to giving top-notch service means that my couples can kick back and soak up every moment of their special day, knowing I'm capturing it all. With a dash of artistic flair and a heaping spoonful of professionalism, I'm dedicated to creating a one-of-a-kind experience for each and every one of my awesome couples.

Katie is amazing! She’s so easy to talk to and work with. We worked with her on our engagement and wedding photos and all the photos were so beautiful. They really captured the entire feel of the day and I can’t stop looking at them! Neither can anyone else I show the photos too!! She also always managed to edit and get them back to us so quickly!! It was so impressive. We had a second shooter for the wedding who was someone she brought along and they were also wonderful. Really such a joy to work with her and hope to take more photos with her in the future!! Could not recommend working with Katie more!!!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Sometimes. Second shooters are great for keeping your timeline on track and for capturing even more images of your day. There is an additional fee for a second shooter, but it's worth every penny!

Definitely. All the best images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for no additional charge. I do not provide the RAW images though.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I provide you with sneak peeks from your day within 48 hours after your wedding.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
