Hi, I am Rachel. I am originally from Chicago, although I have been in Portland since 2006 , so some my consider me a Portlander at this point. I'm a full time wedding photographer. My style is clean and candid. I vary between moody and true color depending on the light. I have been operating my business since 2009. I have photographed 200+ amazing weddings. I have a Bachelors in Photojournalism, which I received from one of my favorite places in the world, Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I packed up my car and moved to Oregon in 2006, from my hometown of Chicago. I met my husband in Oregon and we now have three beautiful children.

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.

We've got options. Bar Carlo is a unique venue that has multiple spaces for mingling. Guests at the bar can spill out into the outdoor, covered space on our very wide sidewalk on a warm night while groups chat on our plush couches and others snack out of view. We even have a covered alley for overflow guests, kid's zone, smoking section, piñatas, dance party, you name it. With a full bar and kitchen, Bar Carlo is a perfect photo-ready relaxed steal.

JR Music Collective got its start with the simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized JR Music Collective with an award in 2013. The collective has gone on to win awards every year since. We help you find an incredible location that fits what you’re envisioning, navigate the permits and logistics, build a timeline around how you actually want to spend your day, connect you with vendors who fit the experience, and make it official with an officiant already on your team. And when the day finally gets here? You get to actually experience it while we document the whole story through photography and videography. Not by turning your wedding into an elaborate photoshoot or production, but by capturing the big moments alongside all the emotional + epic moments happening in between.

The Troutdale House boasts rustic charm while maintaining flexibility and 5-star customer service for their clients. Located in downtown Troutdale, Oregon, it is a convenient location for guests only 20 minutes from Portland and right off I-84. The Troutdale House offers seven different ceremony options with two of the outside options being covered and heated so you can married outside year-round. Other amenities include two dressing rooms, tables, chairs, linens, decorations, onsite staff, and so much more! We only host one event a day and with 10-hour blocks of time, you will have more than enough time to set up, get ready, and host your event! Clean-up at the end of the night is a breeze, just pack out what you brought in, throw your garbage away, and we'll do the rest! The Troutdale house provides so much that it is impossible to list it all in this little description.

Anthony is a licensed attorney who started officiating weddings in Oregon as a Judge (hence our company’s former name, The Wedding Judge). Matrimony Northwest has expanded in the 15 years since Anthony officiated his first wedding and has added two additional officiants—Emily and Henry. The three of them have officiated thousands of weddings in the Pacific Northwest in all different types of venues - back yards, courtrooms, coffee shops, beaches, mountain vistas, and more. Anthony is only the second person to have officiated a wedding in the Oregon State Capitol Building, and the only person to do so in modern times.
