She did both hair and makeup for my sister (MOH) and myself (Bride), and she worked closely with us to deliver exactly what we wanted, even when I switched up my hairdo last-minute. It's clear she knows how to do hair and makeup for different facial structures and types of hair - she's a total expert. Speaking of, Catelyn is a consummate professional with extensive experience (show biz in LA!). She brought such a calming presence on my wedding day. I have pretty thick, heavy hair that doesn't usually stay up easily. Catelyn secured my hair so well that it did not budge at all, even when I took the veil out and in the intense winds out in the Gorge. She also gave me a touch-up kit with other helpful things (tissue - which I definitely used, Q-tip, breath mint, etc.). My makeup held up well through the many tears, too. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the day, with everyone saying how beautiful I looked. We had a makeup trial a few months before the event, where we got a chance to review the look for the day-off and customize colors to what I wanted. She spent a lot of time to perfect the makeup for the trial and took notes to ensure she wouldn't forget what I wanted. For the day-of, Heidi was very professional and put together a beauty timeline weeks before the event, so all the bridesmaids and mothers were aware of what time they would be getting hair and makeup done, and provided an info sheet to make the process smoother. She also provided each girl with a touch-up kit with the lip color. I could not be happier with how the makeup turned out for both our wedding weekend events. “My experience with Faith was absolutely amazing. Both my and my husband's hair were perfect! It somehow lasted through torrential rain, hail, wind, and us running around the woods with our videographer and still looked perfect at the end of the day. My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Faith was also extremely gentle while doing my hair. She never pulled my hair and was extremely careful to not scrape me with the hair pins. I usually have a pretty sensitive scalp and my updo was completely painless both while she was styling my hair and all throughout the day. I highly recommend her! Her Instagram is @beautythrough_faith. My hair was absolutely a 5 out of 5 experience. However organization of the owner added some stress to our wedding weekend and to the day following our wedding when we just wanted to enjoy being newly married. Two days before our wedding, Jess reached out saying our stylist would arrive at 12:30, when our contract said 11:00. Thankfully, Faith was able to make it work and was able to arrive at the original time. In addition, I had set up autopay for the second half of the payment to go through the day of the wedding. On my wedding day I even checked the payment link that had been sent to us to pay the deposit and saw that the autopay for the remaining balance was all set to go through. There was not a separate link sent to pay that day or an option to pay the remaining balance immediately. The day after our wedding I get an email saying our payment is overdue. I'm not sure why the original link gave an option to set up autopay when it was not actually an option. In the scheme of things, it is not that big of a deal and my hair turned out perfectly. Hopefully this was just a tech hiccup and will be sorted for future brides!”
