Event Planner Shi

I had the pleasure of working with Shi on an Asian fusion styled shoot, and I was so impressed by the thought and intention she brought to every detail. She has such a beautiful way of incorporating different cultural traditions while still honoring what makes each one unique. Nothing felt generic or simply added for aesthetics. You could see the care she put into understanding the traditions being represented and finding ways for them to complement one another naturally. As a photographer, it was wonderful to work alongside a planner who values cultural representation and understands how meaningful those details can be.

Shi is an absolute pleasure to work with! From the moment I met her, I knew she would be calm and level headed even through chaos and changes. She has a knack for bringing the right people together to present a great event. What a fun experience to model with my dog in such beautiful outfits! The various competitions were fun and wonderful. Her staff made the event run so smoothly. Definitely it was a fun time had by all!

We had the opportunity to work with Shi in an intercultural wedding editorial. Shi was our editorial visionary and designer, and I couldn’t have asked for a better planner. Shi helped us along the way in creating a mood board to bring our vision to life. She was there every step of the way and had open communication via email, video call, etc. On the day of the event, she had a specially curated timeline that kept everyone on track. She was the key to the event running smoothly. She was always on the move behind the scenes making sure everyone was being catered to. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Shi did an amazing job coordinating the Dare to Strut LA Fashion Show! As someone who has participated in and helped with fashion shows before, I know how much work goes into keeping everything organized and running smoothly. It's challenging enough with human models, but Shi successfully coordinated a show featuring both humans and dogs, and everything flowed beautifully. The event was well organized, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and everyone seemed to know where they needed to be and when. My dog Bella participated in two designer showcases, and the entire experience was positive from start to finish. Thank you, Shi, for all of your hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. It was clear how much effort went into making this event a success. We had a wonderful time and look forward to participating again in the future!

Shi did an amazing job with the dog fashion show, Dare to Strut. She has a way of bringing everyone together. She has positive energy and is great with people and pets. She kept us informed every step of the way, provided rehearsals, partner discounts, additional exciting events and activities for our pups. It was a super fun event that also featured local fashion designers.
