Working with Shi Choong during our styled shoot at The Heathman Lodge on 8/12/25 was an absolute joy. Shi is one of those rare vendors who not only elevates the entire creative process, but also leaves you wishing you could be friends long after the project wraps. From the very beginning, she brought such warmth and positivity—her smile never left her face, and her energy set the tone for a truly collaborative and stress-free day. Shi was incredibly organized in the lead-up to the shoot. She delivered the timeline well in advance, which gave me the chance to review and provide feedback, and she always made herself available to talk through details. Her attention to logistics made the day run seamlessly, but what stood out most was her creativity. She played a key role in curating the aesthetic of the shoot, from the table settings to the florals, and she was such a helpful creative mind to bounce ideas off of. What really impressed me was the extra effort Shi put in behind the scenes. She joined our model, Skylar, and me for the wedding gown fitting—not once, but twice—showing up for both the initial fitting and the final fitting. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to ensuring every detail is aligned before the big day. That kind of commitment speaks volumes about the pride she takes in her work and her desire to make things as smooth as possible for everyone involved. On the day itself, Shi was on top of everything—knowing exactly where things needed to go and anticipating needs before anyone even asked. She kept the process effortless and enjoyable, allowing the creative vision to shine without a hitch. I cannot recommend Shi highly enough. She’s professional, talented, kind, and a true team player who goes above and beyond in every way. Any vendor team or couple would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side.

We had the opportunity to work with Shi in an intercultural wedding editorial. Shi was our editorial visionary and designer, and I couldn’t have asked for a better planner. Shi helped us along the way in creating a mood board to bring our vision to life. She was there every step of the way and had open communication via email, video call, etc. On the day of the event, she had a specially curated timeline that kept everyone on track. She was the key to the event running smoothly. She was always on the move behind the scenes making sure everyone was being catered to. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

I had not asked Shi to set a mood. She did it anyway. Shi sponsored the welcome table at my event and handled it the way every vendor should: confirmed ahead of time, arrived early, set up with precision, and brought an energy guests felt the moment they walked in. She said something in her presentation that stuck with me: that table quietly says either "we love you here" or "we just threw something together last minute." Guests felt loved. That was entirely because of her. As the event host I am managing a hundred things at once. Handing something off with full confidence it will be handled better than I would have done it myself is not something I take for granted. If you are looking for event coordination, hospitality, refreshments, or business event catering that actually reflects the care you put into your gathering, she is who you call. I can vouch firsthand. Five stars without hesitation.

As soon as I saw that I could sign up to be a part of Dare to LA. I was so excited when I jumped at the opportunity. Both my dogs passed the audition and it was just such a fun experience from beginning to end working with a designer and we got very Lucky I got to work with two designers and they made us the most beautiful beautiful dresses. They even made one for me to walk down the runway.! The people that attended were so nice Especially Shi She is beautiful and talented and a people person and you can tell she loves the dogs. She always had a smile on her face and kept the experience so lovely and positive.. I’m looking forward to the next event and I hope to be joining again. 🩷🩷
