Hi! My name is Julia and I am a wedding and elopement photographer based in San Francisco. Photography is not just a job to me, it is truly my passion and my absolute favorite thing to do. I love getting to know each and every one of the couples that I photograph to fully understand their personality to deliver photos that are perfectly unique to them! I will help you along every little step of the way of planning your elopement or wedding. I am always available for a chat!

Something that sets me apart from other photographers is I was an adventure and travel photographer for 6 years before switching over to wedding and elopement photography. I have the unique ability to capture your stunning venue as well as capture the love between you both. Also, all my wedding packages have the optional add on of an adventure wedding photoshoot somewhere incredible. Because while I believe the photos taken on your wedding day are incredibly special, I think taking a day just you and your partner somewhere beautiful is very unique and will create stunning art you will want to blow up and hang around your house.

    Unmatched and impressive work by Julia !

    Unmatched, epic, insanely talented artist and masterpiece! We truly cannot say enough incredible things about Julia Goldberg. From the very first email, zoom meetings, to the moment she arrived at our hotel the morning of our wedding to the very last minute eight hours later, she was the definition of professionalism, talent, and calm energy. Julia gave my husband and I our dream wedding day in every sense of the word. Her attention to detail, direction, and posing skills made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, and she somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly while still making it so fun and natural. She was an absolute ROCKSTAR the entire day, anticipating moments before they happened and capturing them so beautifully and effortlessly. When working with her, you feel as if you’ve known her your whole life. Beyond her impressive talent, Julia is just an amazing person to be around. She is personable, friendly, kind, funny, and so outgoing—it honestly felt like we had a close friend by our side all day. That kind of presence made such a difference and allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. And the sneak peek photos… omg we were BEYOND blown away and I cried tears of joy and am still at a loss for words looking at them everyday! Receiving them in less than 48 hours was already impressive, but the photos themselves were beyond anything we could have imagined—stunning, romantic, emotional, and perfectly capturing the magic of our day. She is worth every penny and more! From the day I found her Instagram and website, I knew there was no other photographer I could use for our wedding. Whether you’re getting married at the iconic San Francisco City Hall, on a Safari in Africa, or under the northern lights, she has the itinerary mapped out to a T and gives you the resources to make your day absolutely seamless while always keeping you in the loop and making you feel important and valued. It was truly a dream come true to have Julia as our wedding photographer. We could not have had a more treasured and memorable day without her, and we will be forever grateful. 10000000/10 experience and I want to get married over and over just to have her shoot us again!     We loved working with Julia!

    We loved our experience with Julia. She was very good with her communication from the beginning. She started out with making sure she knew what we wanted from the shoot and then made sure we knew what things to bring so we'd be prepared for the shoot. Julia has a naturally open personality and it was fun to talk to her during the shoot. To finish it off, the pictures she gave back to us were absolutely gorgeous! 10/10 experience all the way through :)

    A dream come true

    I have been staring back at my photos for days now! Julia was an absolute pleasure to work with, she has an amazing personality and very talented. The most important thing to me for our wedding day was to have an photographer that would capture memorable photos and Julia did more than that. My photos are more than I could have ever dreamed of!! I can't say enough great things about Julia she definitely went above and beyond :)

    Totally incredible!

    Julia was wonderful to work with! We thoroughly enjoyed our elopement shoot. She was flexible and so kind! Very laid back / easy going personality that puts anyone at ease even if you’re not used to getting photos taken. And wow, elopement photos are so stress free!! If you’re thinking about it, don’t overthink it! You won’t regret the intimate and stress free adventure! What a wonderful memory we’ll always have to look back on, we can’t speak highly enough about Julia and her marvelous photography skills!

    Absolutely Amazing and Fun

    From start to finish, working with Julia was an absolute pleasure. She was professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail. On the day of our shoot, Julia made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. She had a great eye for locations and lighting, and she was open to our ideas and suggestions. Throughout the shoot, she gave us gentle guidance on posing and positioning, while still allowing us to be ourselves. The photos themselves are absolutely stunning.
