We’re Hunter and Lindsey Wickert— a husband-and-wife photography team based in Vancouver, Washington, serving couples across the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is simple: create photographs that feel like your memories. From the shoreline near Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach to snowy trails at the base of Mount St. Helens, forest aisles, and golden fall family sessions, we chase real moments, movement, and connection. We want you to look back and feel it all again— the nerves, the joy, the laughter, and the quiet in-between. Artful, natural, and deeply personal— your story, exactly as it unfolded.

Awarded Best of Zola
Lindsey and Hunter were great! We got married in September 2025 and the photos were perfect. We really liked how the talked us through the process and asked what style of photos we liked. They helped us capture all the traditional photos and then added some extra fun ideas, which turned out great! Some of our favorite shots were spontaneous ideas when touring the venue. We also did an engagement shoot. The weather wasn't great and the cherry blossoms decided to drop all the flowers the day before. Lindsey and Hunter had backup ideas just in case and it worked so well!

From our first interaction, the team at Sound Originals Photo & Video was professional, courteous, and friendly. Their communication throughout the planning process was excellent, and they were very responsive to our questions and requests. On the day of our wedding, they captured every moment beautifully, producing professional, bright, vivid, and simply picture-perfect photos. Hi, thank you for stopping to read about me! I’m drawn to weddings for the emotion and meaning that unfold in a single day. With over 15 years photographing celebrations big and small, local and overseas, I bring a calm presence and gentle direction so you can stay present. I blend candid moments with editorial portraits so everything feels natural, cohesive, and effortless. My goal is for you to have the photos you dreamed of, ones that bring you back to the happiest day. If you want someone experienced, genuine, reliable, and fun, I’d love to talk! I take a limited number of weddings each year, please reach out to confirm availability.

Maria was the perfect choice for our forest elopement photography. From the very beginning, Maria's communication was clear, friendly, and timely, putting us at ease as first-time photo subjects. Her artistic, professional, and sensual approach to capturing our special day was exactly what we were looking for. Maria was great at directing us - we were nervous and didn't know what to do with our hands or how to pose, but she helped make everything look and feel natural while having so much fun! Maria is a super talented photographer and also a great director. We worked with her for our elopement and also for our small wedding dinner a month later, and her photos now hang all around our house, reminding us of these special days. Hiring Maria was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Can't wait to work with her again!

Photography By Cambrae
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)

  • Starts at $1,795
  • Serves Troutdale, OR

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Cambrae was very easy and fun to work with. She is very professional and good at communicating. The photos are so amazing and the prices are totally reasonable. Highly recommend!

As the mother of the bride I was so worried everything would go right, but this was beyond my hopes. They captured every moment with such love and detail, it truly made me cry. My daughter looked stunning, but what touched me most was how they also highlighted our family and friends. The photos of me holding her hands before she walked down the aisle are priceless. The video brought out the emotion of the vows and the joy of the party afterwards, like two worlds blending perfectly. They didn’t miss anything, from the flowers to the big dances. Even my husband who never compliments anything said “Wow this is really amazing.” I’ve watched the video probably 20 times already and it never gets old. I know in 10 or 20 years this will still bring us right back to that special day. Thank you for giving my daughter memories she will keep forever. My heart is full.

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

Dionne Kraus Photography
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,700
  • Serves Troutdale, OR

I am a firm believer that friendship comes from learning the weird and quirky about a person, and still wanting to hang out with them after. And, since you will literally spend more time with your photographer than most anyone else on your wedding day, I want to be friends. We NEED to be friends. Like, I’ll-probably-end-up-holding-your-dress-up-while-you-pee type friends. That’s practically BFF status. I’m not only in the business of capturing your epically rad and emotional moments, I am also in the business of making lasting friendships, both of which I’m really awesome at.

Dionne is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. She creates a comfortable atmosphere and is always down for an adventure! Her work speaks for itself and she’s fantastic at capturing the emotions displayed.

  • Serves Troutdale, OR

Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Georgy Shishkin Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Georgy was incredibly organized and communicated with us well in advance, which helped keep everything running smoothly on the big day. Our venue didn't have the best cell service, so we weren't able to confirm some last-minute details before the wedding, but Georgy went above and beyond by showing up early and making sure we were all on the same page. His calm and committed demeanor put us at ease, and we never felt rushed or stressed. The quality of Georgy's work is truly exceptional. There wasn't a single bad photo in the hundreds he provided - he has an incredible eye for capturing candid, perfectly-timed moments, as well as the intricate details that made our day so special. Somehow, he managed to blend in seamlessly, never distracting from the flow of the celebration. The variety of angles and perspectives he captured was really impressive for a single photographer. Georgy's early arrival allowed him to get a feel for the venue, and that preparation is evident in the beautiful, cohesive set of photos we received. He kept his cool even when our timeline got a bit off track, never missing a beat. We are so honored to have had the chance to work with such a talented, patient, and professional photographer. These pictures are truly delightful and stunning - we will cherish them forever. My husband and I are thrilled with the results, and we can't recommend Georgy Shishkin Photography enough!

Baileaves Photography
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Troutdale, OR

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am the owner of Baileaves Photography. I am a travel and destination wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the world to create timeless cinematic images of couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
I'm going to try to put into words how incredible Bailey was, but honestly, the photos speak for themselves. Let me start with this: we were actually excited for the photos because we knew Bailey was great, but my wife and I are AWKWARD in front of a camera. Like, painfully awkward. So there were still some nerves going in. Bailey put those to rest almost immediately and turned the photo shoot into one of my favorite parts of the entire day, second only to actually marrying my wife. She has this way of making you forget the camera is even there. Within minutes we were laughing and just being ourselves, and it shows in every single shot. The amount of prep work she put in blew me away. She scouted locations ahead of time, knew exactly where the light would be at what hour, and had already figured out where we should stand before we even got there. Nothing was left to chance. You could tell she'd thought through every detail long before the wedding day, and it made everything feel effortless on our end. We just showed up and she handled the rest. But here's the thing that says it all: multiple friends came up to us during the reception asking how long we'd known Bailey and if she was a close friend of ours. She was working. That's just how warm and genuinely fun she is to be around. By the end of the night, it really did feel like we'd known her for years. And the photos. They're so natural, so us, and somehow better than anything we could have imagined. Our friends have been raving about them nonstop, showing them to their fiancées, wives, even their moms. We've already had people asking for her info. If you want a photographer with serious talent who also makes the whole experience genuinely fun, Bailey is it. We couldn't be happier.

Kyle Carnes Photography
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,100
  • Serves Troutdale, OR

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m Northwest born, Portland based, and like to think that I have pines trees sprouting from my skin and sun-soaked glacial runoff coursing through my veins. Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. I like to share these details because I strongly believe that connecting with the couples I collaborate with is integral to the creative process of photographing a wedding. A strong connection will result in the best images possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
We reached out to Kyle after he did such a great job with our friends’ wedding photos a couple years ago. When we contacted him, he was very responsive. At our first meeting, he was enthusiastic, organized, and asked all kinds of questions to better understand our vision. The day of the ceremony, he helped us add structure to our pre-ceremony process by nailing down clear portrait timelines for each of us. He has an upbeat and easy-going attitude, which helped both of us feel comfortable while posing for portraits. And further, he clearly has a great eye and improvises well, because he was able to incorporate what might have otherwise looked like a mundane neighborhood setting into beautifully lit, unique photos. Kyle took all kinds of creative, moment-catching candid shots during our ceremony and reception that we couldn’t be happier with. When we showed our wedding photos to friends and family afterwards, they consistently expressed surprise and delight at how Kyle was able to capture so many nuanced moments without being intrusive. TL;DR: We love all of our wedding photos and are so grateful to Kyle for sharing his talents with us! If you’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and ready to celebrate with you, we highly recommend Kyle!

Hereafter Films was one of the first vendors we booked early on in the wedding planning process, and we are sooooooo glad we did! Ryan and Sharayah were amazing to work with, along with their entire team. They photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and honestly, both sets of photos came out better than we could have imagined! Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding. We really wanted our day to be captured in a way that felt authentic, emotional, and true to who we are, and Hereafter ABSOLUTELY nailed it! We looked at a lot of photographers, but the second we saw their portfolio, we were sold. Their style immediately stood out, and the fact that they shoot 35mm film was huge for us. The Super 8 option was such a fun bonus and made us even more excited about working with them. Their work feels timeless, intentional, and full of real emotion. On the wedding day itself, it felt incredible knowing we didn’t have to worry about a single thing when it came to photography and video. We trusted their creative process 1000%, and they truly made the entire day feel effortless. They handled our family and friends with so much patience, care, and ease, and so many people kept telling us how wonderful they were. Looking through our photos now instantly brings us right back to how the day felt, which is something we’ll always be grateful for. Beyond their obvious talent and artistry, Ryan and Sharayah are just genuinely awesome, laid-back, fun people to be around, and their calm, cool energy made such a difference. We feel incredibly lucky to have had them capture one of the most important days of our lives. 1000000% recommend booking Hereafter Films!

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

He listened to our requests and was able to adapt quickly, capturing some beautiful posed and candid moments. He is mindful of backdrop and directed folks kindly, moving purses and plants to frame us. The photos turned out well lit framed and easily downloadable. So I could share them right way.

Howdy! I am Daphne, your new best friend. I capture weddings across Oregon, Oahu, along the West Coast, and dream of destination weddings. I’ve had a camera in my hand as long as I’ve known how to speak. Capturing love stories is an absolute dream job that I am so thankful for. I've met some of the most amazing couples. I create radiant, true-to-life imagery that feels elevated, clean, and warm. There’s nothing I love more than a sunny day and an iced cardamom latte. When I am not shooting, I am visiting as many countries as I can. I keep Christ at the center of my business, honoring Him with the talents I have been gifted with.

Daphne is so versatile, we've hired her to do so many of our family shoots (pregnancy, births, birthdays, promos, headshots, etc). She is a gifted wedding photographer and knows how to get the subject comfortable and out of their shell for an amazing result. Love knows no bounds. Every person is deserving of love and deserving of having it captured perfectly. I believe in equality. I believe in living simply and loving deeply. I believe that dogs are the best travel buddies and that plants make the world better and prettier. I believe that perfectly planned photos are awesome, but so is the candid photo of your 90 year old grandmother drinking whiskey with your friends. Your photos are about you, not me. I won't tell you what to do or how to live your best day. What I will tell you is where the best light is, what to expect during your wedding and always get your "good side."

Bethany and Alvaro were an absolute dream team! After planning this for two years, finally seeing it all come together with the right people meant the world to us. Our day felt so relaxed and easy, nothing was rushed, and both of them made us feel completely comfortable the entire time. Bethany's direction was perfect, clear and natural, never forced. Alvaro captured every little moment so beautifully without ever feeling intrusive. They worked together seamlessly and brought such calm, positive energy to the whole day. We truly couldn't have asked for a better duo to capture our story.

INQUIRE ON MY WEBSITE TO HEAR BACK FROM ME THE QUICKEST! I feel the most at home on the road less traveled. Being close & personal, all up in your business, and forming all the pieces that make you who you are into those bits of magic worth remembering. I’m all about actively creating a trusting space for you to express your love to each other with no fear of judgment. Getting your photo taken requires you to strip down some barriers and be vulnerable with me. For some people, that’s a really big ask and I want you to know I never ask it lightly. I’m intentional with you and your loved ones to ensure everyone has a rad experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
When I tell you that I’ve never had this much fun in front of a camera, I mean it. I decided to do a photo shoot because I had been having a lot of body image issues and I wanted something to help me feel like myself. I was so nervous about it and about how I would look but, Destiny made this an all around positive experience and I (and my mental health) am so grateful. Destiny is professional, has an outstanding vision, is amazingly patient, and incredibly kind. Everything leading up to the shoot was so smooth. Destiny provided options and feedback that made it incredibly easy to pick locations and outfits for the shoot. She responded so fast and with incredible detail. I was so grateful as this was my first time ever doing anything like this. I was so nervous the day of and during the first few minutes of the shoot, but Destiny knew that and helped me work through it by taking a bit more control, but as I eased up, so did she. I felt like I could fully be myself and do what I wanted and liked. She never pushed me and I felt incredibly taken care of and comfortable after the nerves were gone. She hyped me up and made me smile! I was so happy! Destiny is incredibly thoughtful and is willing to do what is best to work with you to get the best shots possible. If you’re looking for someone who will take you through the process step by step and who will help you make decision, then I recommend Destiny without hesitation. The photos look amazing and she is very clear about time lines for when you will get your pictures back. Everything was incredibly easy to navigate and I am so grateful to have worked with Destiny. Thank you for making me see myself with more love and kindness.

I cannot say enough nice things about working with Lauryn and Bob. Not only do they bring the most genuine and lovely attitude and vibes but they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were so professional and knew exactly what to do and say to get all the family members together and they have such good vision when it comes to posing and backgrounds. And the pictures that came out in the end?*swoon* they are some of the most gorgeous shots! The colors, the lighting, the composition, all of it was so on point and so amazing. And we got our photos back so quickly! I cannot recommend Lauryn enough. Pro tip: The wedding and engagement photo combo was the way to do it- not only do you get amazing photos of you and your fiancé before the wedding but getting to know Lauryn and Bob prior to the big day was so nice and made us way more comfortable and we knew what to expect/ what it felt like to be in front of the camera.

Christina took our engagement photos and they are truly some of my favorite pictures of the two of us. Neither of us had participated in a photo shoot since our senior pictures so we were a little anxious going into it, but Christina’s calm presence, sense of humor, and great direction helped ease of nerves immediately. I love that she really was able to capture our playful dynamic in our pictures and nothing felt too stiff or posed. We will definitely be using her again for future family shoots and recommending her to everyone we know! Thank you again Christina!!

Hi, I am Rachel. I am originally from Chicago, although I have been in Portland since 2006 , so some my consider me a Portlander at this point. I'm a full time wedding photographer. My style is clean and candid. I vary between moody and true color depending on the light. I have been operating my business since 2009. I have photographed 200+ amazing weddings. I have a Bachelors in Photojournalism, which I received from one of my favorite places in the world, Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I packed up my car and moved to Oregon in 2006, from my hometown of Chicago. I met my husband in Oregon and we now have three beautiful children.

Rachel Lecrone is an excellent choice for your wedding or event photography. Her communication style is prompt, clear, and expressive, making the process seamless. The quality of her work is truly outstanding - she clearly know her craft and produces high-quality, beautiful images. Rachel is an absolute dream to work with, and I highly recommend using her for your wedding or event. She will capture all the special moments perfectly.

Creative, modern photographers based out of Philadelphia. Drew and Angela are fun, relaxed and experienced. You can trust us to capture all the fun and emotional moments as well as epic portraits with ease.

The Willinghams Photography were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, their communication was super organized and detailed, putting us at ease every step of the way. On the day, they went above and beyond to exceed all of our expectations - they were our photographer, stylist, hair dresser, therapist, and so much more, ensuring our special day ran seamlessly. Even when the rain tried to put a damper on things, they embraced the rain and made it work! Cannot wait to see those pics! They were just fantastic, constantly checking in with me to keep me calm and collected. They were just awesome all around, and we're so grateful for their incredible service. I hope to work with them again in the future for sure!

We are Eric and Amber, a husband and wife wedding photography team with a different story than most. Both of us actually had our own established wedding photography businesses, with years of experience behind us, before we ever met. We found each other at a wedding professionals networking meeting, fell in love, on Valentines Day, no less, and got married 2 years later. Along the way, we merged our 2 businesses into Sightglass Photography.

We could not have asked for a better photography team than Amber and Eric! We met them at a friend's wedding, and so loved their vibes and the pictures they captured from our friend's special day. So, when we decided to have our own re-do wedding, we reached out to them immediately. They have been so easy to work with, so much fun, and so professional. They also really took our wishes into consideration, which I really appreciated. For example, we were clear from the outset that we cared the most about getting a million pictures from the dancing at our wedding, and we didn't much care about getting ready pictures. They delivered so hard, and were in the middle of the action all night long, and my husband and I going to treasure these pictures until we die. We also got our photos less than 6 weeks later, which was wonderful. Having now seen their photos from two separate and very different weddings, I am pretty positive that Amber and Eric can do anything, and will do a fantastic job of capturing what makes a particular wedding special. We would hire them again in a heartbeat if we ever decide to do yet another re-do wedding.

Hello! I'm so glad you're here! I genuinely love connecting with people and telling their love stories through photographs in a new and creative way. Life is really lovely and I want to capture it all, even the messy parts. As wedding photographer, I have a passion for documenting human emotion, and every kind of love. All are welcome here. I have a formal background in business but have always leaned into my creative side. I believe you should have beautiful and creative wedding photos - they will be your heirlooms and legacy. I love photos that are simple, the ones that make you feel something.

I had a specific vision for our group photos; Gone are the days of generic lined up prom-esque compositions, I want the frame filled with drama and depth (Think Kardashian 2010 Christmas photo or literally any Vanity Fair portrait). Give me an off-centered candid with a paparazzi flash or a dimly lit portrait, not some obligatory stale smile trash that Grandma will surely post on Facebook with the caption “they grow up so fast!” In short: I wanted my wedding photos to look like art - And I told Angelina as much during our first video call. The first thing I noticed about Angelina was her attitude; In sheer contrast to my default deadpan manner, she is a personified cup of coffee in a smilie face mug. She is one of the most positive people I’ve interacted with and acted as one of our biggest cheerleaders leading up to (and during) our wedding. Our engagement shoot was at a local bar where my wife & I had our first date. Angelina listened to my vision and executed a flawless “yes, and…” series of compositions. The turnaround time for preview photos was impressive and satisfied my chronic inability to be patient. We were delighted to receive a gif of our secret handshake. Angelina showed up to both our venue walkthrough and ceremony rehearsal. I appreciated how she treated us like her top priority. By the end of our last zoom call, I felt confident that we were all on the same page with how we wanted our wedding album to look. Angelina dressed appropriately for our wedding dress code, blending in with our guests. She was a welcome presence during our getting ready time. I appreciated how she got extra photos of me and my grandma (who was our flower girl) as requested. She brought a second photographer to cover the ceremony from multiple angles. The additional photographer also covered our cocktail hour while we snuck away for some dramatic sunset shots. There was a point during group photos that I pouted and said something like “I’m tired of this, I wanna do something else,” so she offered a break and ensured we had a fresh cocktail in-hand. I wish she would have suggested I stop winking at the camera as much. What I thought was a sultry flirty expression, actually looked more like a stroke consequence and ruined a couple of otherwise gorgeous shots. I can’t blame Angelina for the way my face looked, but a discreet heads-up that excessive winking made me look more like an attention-hungry improv actor than a blushing bride would have been appreciated. She offered a couple different payment methods including online and paper check. Her contract was straightforward and professionally written. The only challenge was choosing which photos to print; Narrowing down all of our favorites to just three or four was a welcome dilemma. I got my Kardashian Christmas photo, Vanity Fair portraits, and so much more. Moving forward, we intend on having Angelina photograph all of our portraits and milestones. Overall 5 stars, I cannot recommend her enough.

Hello, I’m Lauren. In all my work, I strive to show the magic and interconnectedness we all share in this precious life. Everything fades but what we continue to have are the images, the memories. These are our small, everyday moments and the big celebrations. Every one becomes transcendent. Let me bear witness to your life. I will be a witness for you.

From the moment we connected with Stars of Brightest Blue, Lauren was quick, positive, and fun. She has a dreamy and timeless style that perfectly captured the joy of our special day. Despite us not having a detailed shot list prepared, Lauren already had some beautiful ideas in mind, including getting creative shots of our wedding attire. She also arrived early to scout the venue and found a gorgeous location for our first look photos. Lauren was constantly on the move throughout the event, ensuring she didn't miss a single meaningful moment. We emphasized the importance of family photos, and she skillfully wrangled our group to get those shots without a hitch. She was able to get us a few preview photos the next day and we can't wait to get the rest!
