Question 1

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book anywhere from 6 - 18 months in advance. To have the best chances of booking with me I'd suggest reaching out around the 9 - 12 month mark so that it's more likely that I'll have your date available. Saturdays usually book up the fastest. If you're planning a micro-wedding or elopement I'd highly recommend trying to plan your date for a week day so that you have more of a chance of booking your dream vendors, plus locations are typically less busy as well. I highly encourage you to reach out as soon as possible, even if you're planning on a shorter time frame. Let's get planning!

Question 2

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Depending on the size of the wedding, how the day is structured, and what package you select when you book with me will determine if I will have a second photographer present during your wedding day. For couples that are going to be getting ready at different off site locations I'll almost always have a second photographer so that we can split up and be sure to capture all the important moments.

Question 3

Will you edit all our pictures?

All photos will be edited (exposure, color correction, etc.) as well as some simple spot blemish corrections upon request. Since I'm all about capturing the moment, I don't do heavy photo alterations and editing - such as slimming people's figures, tattoo removal or tan line removal.

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

At the moment I don't offer video in addition to photo. This is so that I can fully focus on getting the best photos for you possible. Though, I do enjoy taking some behind the scenes photos through out the day on my phone - I have a mount for my phone on the top of one of my camera. I'm happy to include these and send them to my clients as well. If you'd like videographer recommendations I'm happy to offer some. If you have a videographer in mind that you are planning on booking I'm totally open and enjoy working beside videographers.

Question 5

How long will it take to see our pictures?

You'll get a few sneak peak photos within one week of your wedding, because I know how hard it can be to wait for your photos! Your full gallery will be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks of your wedding date.

Question 6

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

You can expect about 45 to 55 edited images per hour of photo coverage. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. If you book a package with a second shooter on average it will be closer to 75 to 85 images per hour of photo coverage.

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Question 8

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my experience as a photographer I have never had a reason to not make it to a wedding I've booked. Depending on how close we are to the wedding day you'd have two options - 1.) I could hire out one of my associates to photograph your wedding and I will be the one to edit the photos OR 2.) I'll issue a refund and provide you with a list of recommended photographers that I know personally and trust to capture your wedding day.
