Hello! I'm Robert. This is me. Let me tell you a bit about who I am and what I do. Love for photography, ​I am very passionate about working with my camera. If I am creating a little photo for myself that is never seen publicly or a project for a client, I put everything I have into making the photography I create as best I possibly can. Every click of the shudder is an opportunity for creating amazing photography. Every photo-shoot has options for photographs waiting to be found. Solving these puzzles with my camera and lighting is a lot of fun for me. I believe you can see that also. That's why you are here looking at my work now.

If you read my review scattered around the internet my clients regularly say they are blown away with the quality and quantity of the photos from their wedding photography collection. One point that stands out most clients say they are put at ease because I am there. Having photographed over 700 weddings, experience is the best teacher. Knowing where to be and when for the best photos of your event is a valuable asset to your wedding. Another great point is that you own the photos. You can make prints on your own. There are no fees for this. It is included with my basic package.

    Amazing photographer!

    We cannot recommend Robert at Modern Art Photography highly enough! Choosing him as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, Robert was professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to work with. He has an amazing eye for authentic moments, and that's exactly what drew us to his style. Instead of making us feel like we were constantly posing, he stayed in the background for much of the day, allowing us to simply be ourselves. He would offer gentle guidance or a cue here and there when needed, but everything felt natural, relaxed, and genuine. Because of his approach, our photos truly capture who we are as a couple. They feel candid, emotional, and full of real moments rather than stiff or overly posed. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day exactly as it happened, and that's something we'll treasure forever. Robert is also very reasonably priced for the quality of work he delivers. His equipment is top-notch, his professionalism is outstanding, and he was dependable throughout the entire process. We were also impressed with how quickly he delivered our photos—the turnaround time exceeded our expectations.     An Amazing Experience

    We worked with Robert for our wedding day and I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out! From the very beginning, Robert was communicative and easy to work with, taking time to listen to the style and feel we wanted for our photography. At the event he had such a calming and relaxed presence that puts you at ease and allowed for more natural and genuine photographs. I was also impressed and grateful for the amount of work and time he spent at our event, making sure to capture all our big moments. Looking at our album afterwards we were blown away by how amazing the pictures turned out and how much of our vision he was able to make a reality. Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. It is fair to say that If the date is available It may not be for long.
Yikes, never. I have photographed over 700 weddings. I feel perfectly comfortable working with a two person elopement or paying attention to everything going on in a 500 person ballroom. Extra staff changes the feel of your event into a documentary film. I prefer to keep things going on my own. This way I can keep the cost of your event down, while keeping control of the creative direction of your wedding photography.
Yes! First all the photos are edited to remove anything unflattering. Turned heads, blinked eyes, off looks are no good. Then all the color is brought into line. Some gentle Photoshop work is included. In 700 weddings I have only had three clients who overestimated what was about to happen with photo edits. There are professional retouches available to higher as a third party. Who Is going to need a professional retoucher? If you will want the shape or color of your hair changed, or if you are looking to have the shape of your hair / body changed in the photos, you will probably be looking for a retoucher.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. Respectfully, finding vendors who specialize in one specific service will give you the best quality of that service.
My turnaround time is about two weeks. This can be sooner or longer but two weeks is normal.
Each wedding is different. Some families may really take family photos to a whole different level. Most of my clients receive around 1000 images from an 8 hour package.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 14 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking over 700 now. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
