Whether I'm photographing a pair of nesting Osprey on Sauvie Island, or you and your beloved partner exchanging vows at Silver Falls State Park, one thing always holds true about who I am and how I work... You can always find me where the wild things are. I'm a photojournalistic Pacific Northwest Photographer dedicated to telling authentic stories where love of nature and love of one another meet. As an outdoors enthusiast and naturalist, I specialize in adventure photography and Oregon elopements, sharing the beauty of the wild both in-person and through my professional camera lens.

I am LGBTQ+ safe & affirming, believe Black Lives Matter, respect POC/Indigenous communities, am anti-racist, and will only book clients who share in those values. I'm a former Park Ranger, Outdoor Educator and am Leave No Trace Master Educator certified. I have over a decade of wilderness experience and was a former Wilderness EMT.

Awesome!
From our first conversation, Amanda Stern Photography made it easy to work with her. She was friendly and straightforward about everything, which put us at ease right away. On our wedding day, Amanda felt like part of the group while still capturing incredible photos from every angle. She interacted with our guests naturally and made sure everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera. The photos turned out stunning and really show the joy of our day. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to document our special moments.

Wow Amanda was absolutely amazing from the beginning. Not only is she kind, accommodating, and super amazing to work with, her work speaks for itself. I had the privilege of having Amanda as my photographer and the photos were OUTSTANDING even better than i was imagining. She showed up to the location of my wedding and got there 2 hours early so she could scope out every floor and find the best picture opportunity’s that alone speaks volume of the passion she has to photography. She made me feel beautiful and confident as she guided me and my now husband through different posses. Could not recommend Amanda more 10/1033

Truly the best photographer

Easy peasy loving squeezy!!!
