“We used beautiful Crazy, specifically Connie as our wedding coordinator/planner through the entire process. It was very early on in our 12 months of planning, that we knew we needed to have a coordinator. My wife is very Type A. And I knew we needed to find somebody who could also match that level of detail and structure. Connie exceeded our expectations. We had many meetings during the year of planning, even some where she was sick and still willing to get on a call with us. She always came to every meeting prepared and ready to go over every little detail. It provided myself and my wife a lot of ease because we knew that Connie had it. Everything was laid out in a document very easy for us to reference. Every inspo picture, every color choice, every vendor, and every moment in the timeline all laid out very easy to see. During the planning phase, she was fantastic! Then the day of our wedding arrived. A day that has a tendency to be filled with some stress and anxiety before the wedding even starts, but me, I had none. I was marrying my best friend, and I knew that the wedding was going to go perfectly smooth because Connie was there. She took care of setting everything up, communicating with vendors, having drinks ready for us as soon as we entered the reception, and even going as far as making our plates of food. Before the event started, she came up to me and immediately asked if I needed anything, asked how I was feeling, and told me if there was anything I needed to let her know. She also told me, that we were her third event of the weekend, and she hadn’t slept from the event the night before, because they had to get in the car and drive a few hours to us. But you couldn’t even tell. Her dedication, her commitment to the couple, and the attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. She helped deliver what is now one of the most magical days in both of our lives. If you’re looking for anybody to help out with your wedding, to make your day even more special and to hopefully take some stress off of you, I cannot recommend enough beautiful Crazy, specifically Connie!”

“Emily was amazing! We worked with her for planning, starting from about 15 months before the wedding date, as well as day-of coordinating, and she was an incredible help time after time. Whenever we were stuck trying to figure out vendors or even basic things like the color scheme, Emily was able to help us make progress and stayed really kind and patient throughout, even with what were probably fairly dumb questions at least some of the time. (After all, I don't think either of us ever planned a party for more than a dozen people at a time, so it was invaluable to have help from someone so experienced as Emily!) Emily was great at keeping track of timelines and helped focus us on which decisions needed to be made sooner and what we could leave for later. When we decided to add a tea ceremony as part of the wedding, Emily didn't bat an eye and was so helpful with getting those extra details sorted. There can be so many times while planning a wedding where it’s hard to know how to even approach an important decision, including just communicating w/ guests & family and her expertise, advice, and care kept us from getting stuck more times than we can count! Even though you would expect an event planner to be very rigid in saying how things should go, Emily is not robotic at all and we loved how spontaneous and open to brainstorming different options she always was! The night before and morning of the wedding, we were a bit stressed, but once we were at our venue and Emily was back involved, things went incredibly smoothly and we had a day filled with joy and love. One of Emily's assistants, Alaina, was also there to help w/ day-of details and she was also so nice, calm and capable! Emily even stepped in as an emergency emcee for us when our previous plans fell through 2 weeks before the wedding & our guests loved her humor & warmth during the reception too!”

“I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She brought great vendor recommendations and connections and did countless hours of research on new vendors. Details were well-documented and thoroughly discussed to ensure all parties were aligned. “We had the absolute pleasure of working with Michelle (Bustle & Lace) as our wedding coordinator at Sarabande Chicago, and I can't imagine our day without her support. Our wedding was a bit complex, it included a Hindu ceremony in the morning, followed by a break, then a traditional American-style cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Michelle handled every piece with grace and precision. Having had an Indian-fusion wedding herself, she was especially knowledgeable about many of the cultural details involved, which made us feel even more confident and understood throughout the process. One of the things that drew us to her was her unique coordination model, where we met with her every few months for a year leading up to the wedding. My husband and I knew that we wanted to stay very involved in the decision-making that went into wedding planning, and her package was the perfect fit for that. Even though we did a lot ourselves, Michelle’s expertise, thoughtful feedback, and vendor connections made the entire process feel guided and manageable. We actually enjoyed wedding planning more than we expected—largely because of her insight and support. She offered incredibly helpful input on our choices and timeline, and provided so much value long before the wedding day was even close. As we entered the final month, her coordination ramped up. She took the lead with our vendors, helped us stay on top of all our final tasks, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. She also led our venue walkthrough with the full vendor team, helped with setup the day before, and made sure we felt confident heading into the big day. On the wedding day itself, Michelle was a calm, steady, behind-the-scenes presence. If anything went wrong, we never knew—she handled it all. She checked in with us the perfect amount to make sure we were eating, feeling good, and truly enjoying ourselves.
