Working with Shannon and the WPP team was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and it resulted in the weekend of our absolute dreams. From our first introductory call, we knew WPP was the perfect match to bring our vision to life. My husband and I both work in events and came in with a lot of ideas- some simple and straightforward, and some ambitious, a little whacky, and involving a lot of different elements, tons of live music, and surprises for our guests and for each other. Shannon and the WPP team were right there with us. They embraced our ideas rather than steering us towards something that may have been simpler or more traditional, and then executed them seamlessly while enhancing them every step of the way. “It was so fun getting to spend time with her and getting to know her during this process. Cathy made every little detail of our fairytale wedding come true. She was terrific during the planning process. When I wanted to try to handle projects myself, she stepped back and let me handle them, but was always there if I needed advice or help with anything. When I needed her to be more involved and hands on, I felt completely confident and comfortable letting her take things in the direction that she felt was best. She was always quick to answer emails and talk on the phone to hash out big picture items or last minute details. The week leading up to the wedding Cathy was AMAZING. We spent almost 2 hours on the phone making sure every last detail was taken care of and exactly the way I envisioned it. She ran our ceremony in the pouring rain and was always cheerful and positive, she was there for me for moral support all afternoon while I was getting ready, she helped setup the barn and ceremony beautifully and made sure every detail was in order. During the ceremony and reception, she made sure that my husband and I were taken care of the entire evening. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish and Cathy's expertise, guidance and help played such a huge part in the success of our wedding day. Thank you Cathy!! “Great experience with On The Go Events!!! We were hesitant to use a coordinator (“Will this be worth the cost?”) and now that we are out the other side, we could never imagine doing our wedding without Donna. She’s very organized and helped us think through details we had not considered leading up the event. We did not use a wedding planner, so Donna really helped act as a good “check” to make sure we were thinking about the logistics correctly. She really helped us get all of the vendors in sync, and make sure everyone is working off the same timeline. Donna and her assistant took care of many “fire drills” on our wedding day, and they did such a good job that we did not even realize some of them happened (i.e. apparently there was an issue with our cake cutting, but had no idea until Donna told us later). As a bonus: On The Go Events had worked at our venue (Forest Lake Camp) before and knew the ins and outs. For example, the venue had very spotty cell signal, so she and her assistant knew to bring walkie-talkies to make sure they could communicate without issues. Another nice plus: Donna is very even-keeled and down-to-earth. Weddings are stressful, but our calls with Donna left us feeling more in control. You feel in very good hands since Donna has a ton of experience. Highly recommend”

“Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!”

“We absolutely LOVED working with Justine at Mills Memories for our special day! Justine went above and beyond at every step of the way for us. We knew we needed a coordinator for the day of, but Justine met with us about once a month for almost a full year leading up to the wedding. She made sure we were staying on track with all the to-dos and even provided a checklist for us to work through. The week of the wedding she was on top of everything. All of our other vendors sang her praises and we can confirm, working with Justine made our whole wedding day so much smoother. She also came to our rehearsal which was a huge help, not only because it was great that she knew how everything at the church should go on the day of, but also because I had a wardrobe malfunction and she was there to help my matron of honor sew me into my rehearsal dinner dress.
