“Our venue required a day-of coordinator, which at first we were unsure about as a general idea, thinking we "didn't need one" (ha), but we'd do it because we had to. I had a call with Ashley, who I could immediately tell was the realest and most down to earth coordinator, just what we needed. We had general visions of our day, and Ashley was terrific about guiding us on how to make it all seamless, without ever pushing us towards any particular decision, just always listening to what we personally envisioned and telling us exactly how to make it happen in the most uncomplicated, budget-friendly, yet classy ways. We had phone calls at different intervals all the way from starting planning, to the week of the wedding, which kept us on track and saved us from forgetting time-sensitive tasks. Ashley did a lot of the communication with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page.
When Ashley shared that she would not personally be the coordinator on our wedding day, she set up a video call with Nadia, who would also be assisted by Katherine, so that we would be as comfortable as possible. Nadia and Katherine did an incredible job day-of, to the point that I'm certain I must have missed some sort of chaos that I still don't know about, because everything seemed to go completely perfect and stress-free from my and my husband's perspective. My husband and some family members (mostly guys, for what it's worth...might not have understood the "vision") brought and set up a lot of the decor in the morning, but my husband shared that Nadia and Katherine were wonderful about making things really come together. Our entire process with Plume & Pearl, and especially our wedding day, was purely joyful and low-stress thanks to the team, and I can't imagine doing this without them!”
