We had our wedding reception at Pine Ridge Farms and what a magical and unforgettable experience we had! You can see the Catskill Mountains from the property and the views are breathtaking. The owner, Ms. Gioja was truly wonderful and she made the planning process seamless for us. Which was so important, because it was my first time and she was patient and so very accommodating. It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you're thinking about having your event at Pine Ridge Farms, you will not regret it!!!

My husband and I got married at Hotel Lilien last September and the entire weekend exceeded our wildest expectations. Coordinating with Daniel and Jules was excellent throughout the entire process and they responded timely with answers, solutions, and suggestions. The staff was very flexible and was able to adapt to decisions that were made the week before based on weather. Throughout our entire stay they were extremely attentive and helpful with all requests, specifically Chris, Jason, Anthony, and Kiera. They really made our weekend perfect. Each room was pristine when we arrived and every single attendee mentioned how much they loved the accommodations. The food was also amazing, people couldn’t stop talking about the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and charcuterie/burrata boards. Looking back on our wedding as a whole, choosing Hotel Lilien was the perfect decision and we are so grateful for their entire staff making the whole experience so magical. The hotel has so much history and the original owner’s daughter, Meta Lilienthal, has a personal memoir called Dear Remembered World and the book describes her life in both Manhattan and Upstate back in the 1890s. While the property is now a hotel, the new owners have managed to expertly craft an environment that makes you feel right at home. Couldn’t recommend more!

Everyone loved our wedding. We had so much fun swimming, boating & fishing in the lake on the days before the wedding. We not only rented the 3 cabins on the property, but we also put up glamping tents near the cabins. We had 32 people staying here for 3 nights and 4 days. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch the day after the wedding under a beautiful tent alongside the lake. It was breathtaking. My family and friends can’t stop talking about how much fun our 4 days together were. The owners are in a cabin at the back of the property, so they were there for us whenever we needed them all week.

The Caboose
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Hudson, NY
  • Up to 184 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $45,000

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. The venue has a modern industrial vibe. Aaron, Laura and the whole Wire team were very accommodating and kind from day one. This venue is all inclusive. We were were able to book hotel blocks for our guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. We were able to stay in the bridal suite (Heron Suite) for a total of three nights. This room is beautiful, it has a large 4 poster bed, sitting room and huge bathroom with large walk in shower. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Patrick Henry ( one of their restaurants on site), which is adjacent to the venue property. The food was delicious and gave off a casual vibe for out of town guests as they were arriving. The day of the wedding the bride and groom have their own beautiful getting ready rooms. The bridal getting ready room had a lot of natural light and salon style chairs for hair and makeup. The morning after the wedding we had our brunch at the Day line Roof top bar, which is another restaurant on the property. The food was a delicious breakfast buffet. Tim the Banquet manager was always around ready to make sure it all ran smoothly. Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. The Hudson Milliner was a fantastic venue for our wedding. It’s a beautiful space with tons of character and charm. There is genuinely moving art everywhere and great natural light which you will want for beautiful photos. Charlotta and Shannon were extremely helpful and welcoming. They answered all of our questions and gave us the lay of the land in Hudson. We had our wedding brunch at a very nice French restaurant on their suggestion. I would 100% do it all again with The Hudson Milliner and suggest you do too.

We are writing to highly recommend The Church as a wedding venue. We had the pleasure of holding our wedding at Mr Milandou Badila's aka Mr Paris dope spot in Hudson and we couldn't be happier with the service. The venue looks really amazing, stunning architecture and lush greenery created the perfect backdrop for our special day. My favorite part of working with them was the hospitality and doing the most to make sure our guests were good. Whole staff was a pleasure to work with ensuring that every detail was taken care of. We really had the wedding of our dreams and his team made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We would not hesitate to recommend The Church to anyone looking for a beautiful, professional and well-equipped wedding venue and cant thank the staff enough for making our special day one that we will always remember.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful, inclusive, and accessible venue! Knowing that the vast majority of our guests would have to fly in to our wedding, no matter where we had it, it was important to us that we had a venue we could book for the whole weekend. Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful venue (with a lovely rain/cold weather location, which we ended up using), incredible food, and great service!

From the moment we started planning, Henrietta at Vanderbilt Lakeside Bar Room & Guesthouse made everything so easy. She was thorough with every detail and got back to us quickly whenever we had questions, which meant I could actually relax and be present for our wedding weekend instead of stressing. What made this venue truly special was the ability to have our entire bridal party stay there with us—it felt like we were celebrating with our closest people the whole time, not just on the big day. Henrietta understood our style and vision so well that she customized everything perfectly, and when last minute thunderstorms rolled through, she handled it all smoothly without us having to worry. The whole experience was unique and eclectic, exactly what we wanted. We loved it so much that we're already talking about coming back for our anniversary.

Windham Manor was everything we could have wanted. Susan and Barry are amazing! We got married outside in the enchanted forest in Nov ‘24 and it was beautiful. The barn was a fantastic place to host our 200 guests for our reception. The house that you can rent right next to the barn fits 33 people and is perfect for your wedding party to stay. We hosted our rehearsal dinner and after party right at the house as well. Karen, the house manager went above and behind to assist us throughout our stay.

We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty with exceptional service, we wholeheartedly recommend A Private Estate.

Tucked away on 58 acres of pastoral beauty in Upstate New York, M&D Farm is a boutique European-style garden and barn wedding venue where natural beauty, timeless elegance, and thoughtful design come together to create intimate and unforgettable celebrations. M&D Farm welcomes couples who want their wedding to feel personal and connected to the place where they celebrate. They are looking for a venue that feels like an extension of who they are. We are not a ballroom, a hotel, or a country club. We are a private estate where every wedding feels at home in its surroundings. Featuring European-inspired gardens, a restored 1940s barn, a serene pond, open meadows, lush woodlands, and a lovingly restored 1800s farmhouse, M&D Farm offers a refined countryside wedding experience for couples who value atmosphere as much as aesthetics.

  • Rustic charm with elegance

Venue considerations

I saw a photo of M&D farm on google two years ago. My husband and I had our wedding at M&D this past month. We did not view any other venues and booked this venue site unseen. This venue truly spoke to us! I cannot even find the words to explain how magical our wedding weekend was. Most of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. With every single corner of this property you will find something new and special. Just when you didn’t think it could get more beautiful throughout the day, Mario and Daniel unveil yet another grand detail. Between the home they have perfectly curated, the flower beds, the secret garden, the upper gardens, the gravel throughout, the garden statues, the greenery, the barn, the pond, the fields, I could go on for days about how dreamy it feels. As you take in the the view of flowers, a breeze will follow giving your nose a chance to experience the scent of the flowers, all while the birds and the bees hum their melodies. It is straight out of the most perfect fairytale movie set you can imagine for a wedding- but it is real! Mario and Daniel’s hospitality and professionalism is unmatched. To sum it up, we had many guests tell us how helpful they were the entire day. But they made sure to say that it was the perfect amount of help, not too much and not too little. Guests told us they felt welcomed into this magical space that Mario and Daniel so happily love to share with everyone who enters. I can 100% say we have no regrets about anything because the entire day went even better than we could have imagined. Mario and Daniel are masters at what they do. Moving onto the wedding planning process. We worked with Mario and Daniel for about a year and a half. They made everything so easy and very straightforward. They were very helpful but not overbearing. One thing I would like to point out is, they have an unspoken understanding of your vision for the day. Some things I hadn’t even thought to communicate they delivered on, because they just understand the vision. I believe this is because they are very connected to each of the couples they plan with. It’s truly amazing! Regarding vendors, we used most of the vendors Mario and Daniel recommended and we are so happy we did. They work with a trusted tight-knit group of vendors because they trust and know they will deliver and bring the best energy and service to your special day. If you feel drawn to this venue, follow your heart, the magic is calling you and will exceed your expectations. Thank you Mario and Daniel for everything

This venue has a gorgeous Barns, a beautiful house, mountain view’s, and pond views! We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

Right after we toured at the Barn at LF, I knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. It was absolutely MAGICAL! so warm and welcoming, it instantly felt like home. On top of that, Beth was an absolute sweetheart and really sealed the deal for us. From start to finish, every single person at the Barn went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Both Dani and Beth had the best communication, always quick to respond to my (many!!) questions and so supportive through the entire planning process.
