About this venue
Living Stone is an enchanted forest wedding venue in the Catskills- an exquisite handmade open air Pavilion nestled in the woods of the Catskills, with our very own waterfall. Onsite catering, full liquor license, and all the amenities of a state of the art facility, but in the woods. Site fee and catering for up to 35 people (including couple) to celebrate with your nearest and dearest. Offered Tuesday through Thursday in Peak Season, but can be offered on weekends 3 months prior to the date

An absolute dream!
We found Living Stone in our own backyard and were immediately swept away by the natural beauty of the landscape and the incredible work Heather and Django have put into making the space what it is. Words truly can not describe what they have created, from the boulders along the moss path to the hand-built mortise and tenon pavilion to the waterfall that seems to be the heartbeat of the living stone, you simply have to experience it to understand what it is. Beyond the natural beauty, Heather and Django shared with us and our families the warmest hospitality and most delicious food. We met and discussed some of our ideas, and quickly Heather had curated a menu that not only reflected who we are but would still be approachable to all of our guests. The food was locally sourced, fresh, and absolutely incredible. It is clear that Heather, Django, and their staff are passionate about what they create and serve to the people who have the privilege of experiencing everything Living Stone has to offer. The day of our wedding it rained for the entirety of the day, while we had to pivot our plans a little bit, Heather had a rain contingency plan that was executed flawlessly by her and their staff, and our day was ultimately perfect. The rain charged the creek, and the waterfall roared, and we danced the night away. We simply could not have found a place more beautiful or run by people more talented and incredible. We have and will continue to recommend Living Stone for anything one could need an event space for. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and would be well suited for any gathering of people who want to celebrate love in a truly spectacular place. We are so grateful to be a part of the Living Stone family. Thank you again to Heather, Django, and the entire Living Stone team for making our wildest dreams for our special day a reality.

Walking through Living Stone gives me an overwhelming feeling of magic and wonder. I can only equate it to those moments of childhood where joy overtakes you and it feels like anything is possible. Heather and Django are truly devoted to making your vision a reality.
Outstanding venue
As a wedding caterer who travels a lot to many venues, I can say, this place has it all. From first contact to ease of operations before, during and after the festivities. We rarely see a venue that has thought out every aspect of an event so carefully. They have it all! It is also the most beautiful and enchanted place I have ever seen in my life. A true waterfall paradise. 10/10 This is the best venue in my opinion.
