About this venue

Defiance Hall by War Cannon Spirits is an authentically restored 10,000-square-foot building, originally built in 1820 as a sawmill. It is one of the oldest buildings of its kind in the Adirondacks. Defiance Hall can accommodate over 300 people across two floors with mountain views and a creekside setting. We comfortably host weddings for up to 125 guests, allowing for the full use of the property with separate areas for cocktail receptions, dining, and dancing, as well as creekside outdoor areas with sweeping mountain views. Included are: - Two full bars - Commercial kitchen for caterers - Tables, chairs, ceramic plate settings, metal cutlery, and cloth napkins for 150 people - Folding tables and folding chairs for 150 people (second floor) - Staffed cash bar (drinks not included) - Projector - Wired and wireless microphones - Two PAs (one on each floor) - DJ booth - Outdoor deck seating for 60 people - Outdoor creek area with seating for 100+ - Outdoor cocktail receptions - Parking

The Loft

Our second floor, "The Loft", is 2,575 square feet of industrial rustic bliss!

The Loft offers a full bar, private restroom, additional table/seating for 125 people, a wide-open dance floor, and an optional 24-foot platform stage for bands/presentations, with a full sound and light package.
