About this venue

At Snowhill Manor, your wedding isn't an eight-hour event — it's the whole weekend. Set on 250 private acres of Adirondack meadow in Lake Placid, the entire estate is yours: a nearly 7,000-square-foot manor with seven bedrooms for fourteen of your closest, and grounds that roll toward the mountains. Arrive early, settle in, and watch the celebration take shape around you. The space bends to your vision — an intimate ceremony for fifty-plus in the Den, a reception for up to two hundred across the estate, or everything outside under the stars. With no other guests and no shared events, the property holds only the people you invited. Tables, chairs, and setups are provided, so you bring the people and the dream and we handle the rest. Wake to mountain light, gather by the fire, and linger long after the last toast. Anything is possible here. The only thing missing is your people.

This is a fantastic space. it is a barn inside the property. Great for the ceremony and the afterparty with an 80" TV, fireplace, and comfy furniture.

This is the central room to the property. Directly adjoining is the Den to the right and the dining room to the left. In front, and accessible from double doors in the Living room is a 400 sq ft patio with a firepit and Adirondack chairs overlooking Peacock Mountain.

    Wonderful Venue!

    Snowhill Farm was the perfect venue for our small wedding. From the moment we reached out, the team provided fast, clear communication, answering all of our questions quickly and making us feel right at home. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - a beautifully preserved and maintained very large home set on sprawling, manicured grounds. Everything we needed was available, from getting ready suites to a gorgeous ceremony site to a glamorous reception space. The level of service and attention to detail was impeccable, and our guests raved about the beauty and elegance of the entire day. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our marriage. Snowhill Farm is truly a gem, and we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a breathtaking, stress-free wedding experience.

Saranac Lake (SKL) has good service from Boston on Cape Air; Plattsburgh (PBG) is an hour away, Albany (ALB) & Burlington (BVT) 2 hours away
A liability rider will be added to all rentals. Pricing depends on the length of stay and projected attendance.
