I'm Maggie, an eclectic pagan of 20+ years, non-denominational ordained minister, and certified Reiki Master. My path is rooted in folk magick traditions passed down through my family, and that deep connection to intention shapes every ceremony I create. Whether you're planning a traditional wedding, a pagan handfasting, an intimate elopement, or something entirely your own, I craft every ceremony from the ground up around you. I also handcraft custom handfasting cords woven with intention for your special day. Based in Milton, Vermont. What sets me apart is the depth I bring. With 20+ years of eclectic pagan practice, I offer what most officiants can't: handfastings, pagan rituals, crystal blessings as a certified Reiki Master, and handcrafted cords woven with your colors, charms, and intentions. But you don't have to be pagan to work with me. I create ceremonies for all couples, whether your vision is traditional, spiritual, quirky, or entirely your own. Through genuine conversation I get to know your story and turn it into a ceremony that feels unmistakably yours. It can be fun, heartfelt, sacred, silly, or a beautiful mix of it all.

We’ll meet briefly to sign your marriage license and complete the legal formalities - with the option to include a short exchange of vows. Description

A simple signing service to make your marriage official. We'll meet briefly to complete your marriage license and make it legal. No ceremony, no vows, just the paperwork. Ideal for couples planning a larger celebration later or those who simply want to make it official. This option is ideal for couples planning a larger celebration later, or for active-duty military members who need a quick and easy way to say “we do.”

Yes! Every ceremony I perform is personalized to some degree. For Elopement and Standard packages, you can choose from a collection of ceremony script styles and lightly personalize them to reflect your story. With the Premium Wedding or Handfasting package, I craft a fully custom ceremony from scratch based on your responses to a couples questionnaire, ensuring every word is meaningful and unique to you.
Absolutely. I celebrate love in all its forms and am proudly 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming. I work with couples of every background, belief system, and orientation. All of my ceremonies use inclusive, gender-neutral language unless you tell me otherwise. Your ceremony will honor who you are and the love you share.
Custom vow writing is available with the Premium Wedding and Handfasting packages. For all other packages, you're welcome to write your own vows or choose from traditional options, and I'm happy to offer guidance to help you get started.
Yes! I offer a wide range of unity ceremonies including cord binding, candle lighting, sand ceremonies, ring warming, crystal blessings, and many more. I offer a free initial consultation for all couples, by message, phone, or video call. Beyond that, I'm always available to answer questions and discuss your ceremony details throughout the planning process.
It's a thoughtful set of questions designed to help me get to know your story, your relationship, your values, and what matters most to you. Your answers guide the creation of your ceremony, ensuring it feels authentic, meaningful, and completely yours. Questionnaires are sent after booking and are tailored to your specific ceremony type.

I've officiated multiple weddings, each one completely unique, from intimate elopements to themed celebrations to pagan handfastings. I love tailoring every ceremony to reflect the couple's story, style, and values.
Yes! I have two options depending on what you're looking for. If you'd like a traditional vow renewal, that's included in my Standard Wedding package starting at $300 (or $250 with prompt deposit). If you're looking for something more spiritual and personal without the traditional structure, I offer a Commitment Ceremony starting at $275 (or $225 with prompt deposit). Both are beautiful ways to celebrate your bond and I'm happy to help you figure out which fits your vision!
There is no travel fee for ceremonies within Chittenden County, Vermont. For ceremonies outside Chittenden County, I charge $0.70 per mile calculated from my home in Milton, Vermont to the ceremony venue, round trip. I'm happy to travel throughout New England!
A handfasting is a traditional pagan and Celtic ceremony where the couple's hands are bound together with a cord, symbolizing the joining of two lives. It can be legally binding or purely spiritual, depending on your preference. My handfasting ceremonies include a complete ritual experience with circle casting, calling the quarters, and honoring the elements, fully personalized to your spiritual path. Custom handmade cords are available as an add-on.
If you're booking a standard or premium wedding but would love a cord-binding moment in your ceremony, I can incorporate one as an add-on for $75. Custom cord sold separately. This is different from a full handfasting ceremony, which includes a complete pagan ritual experience.
