Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

    A magical venue!

    Where to even begin. The Caboose was everything we had hoped and more for our wedding venue. From the gorgeous space, to the perfect service, the stunning food and cocktails, and to each and every person who made our wedding day magical. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive, and our guests felt the same. A few highlights: - The Caboose team worked flawlessly with all of our vendors. Georgina – you are an operational genius who orchestrated a team that made our day so beautiful and joyful. Thank you to all the staff who contributed. We appreciate you! - The food and cocktails were to die for – our guests were stunned at the culinary adventure they were taken on. Additionally, guests with dietary needs received the same attention. Our guests still rave about the food and drinks! - Our vendor team LOVED working at The Caboose. When we told them our venue they were all excited to return, and you could see it reflected in the energy as we saw them work together. - The venue is just gorgeous. The space is flexible, naturally gorgeous so little decor is needed, and their new lighting is exquisite. Our day was perfect. Thank you so much!

    Dreamy venue!

    We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them.     The very best!

    My husband and I just got married at the Caboose and cannot say enough good things about the venue and its team. There's something magical about it. The space is gorgeous, warm, and inviting. The lighting, the garden, the intimate, communal feel, the food presentation. The food is by far the best you'll have. All of our guests agreed and were truly raving about it. It is by no means typical "wedding food" and is one of the many elements that makes this venue special. Not only was the food better than most restaurants, but the menu is so unique and highly customizable. Their focus on seasonal ingredients is truly special. If you're looking to have an elevated but understated dinner and dance party, this is the venue for you. The staff was so kind and executed our vision better than we could have imagined. You'd never know the venue/team is new. The Caboose is perfect and we could not recommend it or the entire team enough. Even the getting ready space above Kitty's restaurant was perfect. What a special place! We were blown away and can't wait to see what else this team does. They really know what they're doing here.
