He added so many special touches I can't count them. Mary--the manager, who was by our side when negotiating with the vendors. Always available. DJ Shy—OMG! He and I worked together fabulously, even at 7 am the morning of our wedding, we were fine tuning something that I wanted. And he delivered. I have been officially working as a professional wedding planner since 2017. My love of all things weddings and events began at an early age. I worked at a country club in the summers before my freshman and sophomore year of college, I worked on the food and beverage staff which included being a banquet server, and can you guess which was my favorite shift to work, you guessed it, the weddings. Once I got to the point in my life where my friends were starting to get engaged and I was a bridesmaid in their weddings, I found myself taking on extra duties and wanting to be more involved that it hit me, I need to pursue being an event planner.

“Miranda was absolutely amazing. We worked with her for a year to plan for our Sonoma wedding. She was recommended from a friend whose wedding she also planned and it was stunning. Even though she was not from the Sonoma area, she did an amazing job finding everything from the venue, to the vendors, photographer, and DJ. She has great attention to detail and really makes you feel at ease in the planning process. We had absolutely no idea what we wanted or what we were doing, but she made both me and my husband way less stressed on every matter. We even had a last minute DJ issue and she found us a new one right away. She helped set up food tastings and made sure we were on track for the big day in terms of seating charts and other small details. The wedding was perfect and she did a fantastic job telling us exactly what to do and where to be. She even helped my brother, the officiant, with what he was suppose to say during the ceremony, as this was his first time officiating. She did the signage, decor, literally everything and alleviated all the stress and jitters on our day. I couldn’t recommend her enough to plan and help on your day. I’d hire her again ten times over! “My husband and I didn’t know when we first started wedding planning that we would end up needing to change venues and find a wedding coordinator last minute, after already booking all our other vendors and planning a majority of the details. Karen was an answered prayer and thankfully was available to help us out with a 2 months Day-of Coordination package. Once she hopped on and worked with us two months out, we instantly felt relief & confidence that our special day was in good hands. Communication was great, her organization, her attention to detail and quick problem solving is unmatched. And she only works with the best - her assistant was just as amazing. Karen has a true eye for talent AND she genuinely cares! She has a special way of connecting with everyone and making you laugh and feel at ease even when the unexpected comes up. The wedding day came and everything went smoothly and beautifully! Karen was the glue between us, the guests, the vendors and our venue. We’re still waiting for our photography and videography to come back but from what friends and family have shared, they did an amazing job putting together the decor and all the details! My husband and I were in complete bliss and don’t think we ever had a worry during the day. It was funny because post-wedding, my husband and I were talking about how we should’ve hired a content creator because we were feeling so impatient with waiting for our photographer and videographer edits. Only to log onto Instagram moments later to see some beautiful stories from Karen and her assistant! AMAZING There is not enough money or reviews to thank Karen and her team enough. Karen is absolutely the best. In the words of my husband, she is the GOAT. He literally told me “You can give her all our money.” and honestly if we could start over, we would have hired and paid her for the Full Planning package for her expertise from beginning to end!”

“Chris was our day of coordinator and he absolutely killed it. My husband was hesitant at first at the idea of hiring a day of coordinator but by the end of the event, we could not even imagine doing it without him. Chris was invaluable and made the entire event run so smoothly, he handled everything. My husband would think of something that needed to get done, like fill the coolers with ice or bring out the drinks, and Chris was already on it. We had a nontraditional wedding in a very nontraditional location and I spent so much time planning every last detail and Chris was able to take over and perfectly execute my vision and I could just relax, be present, and really enjoy the day. I was a little worried about handing the reins to someone else because a lot of what we did was nontraditional, but Chris made sure the event looked like us, not what a wedding is "supposed" to look like. I had zero stress on the day, which is crazy lol. Everybody loved Chris, us and the whole wedding party. He has a very calm and chill energy which made all of us very calm as well. Very good vibes. He also was very professional and it was clear that he has a ton of experience and used that experience to make sure the event run very smoothly and that everybody had a good time. He took over about a month before the wedding, which was way more helpful than I would've thought. I've never planned an event like a wedding before so dealing with the vendors and all their questions (and some of them were kinda pushy) was a lot and I was soo happy I could give that to someone else. I got to just focus on the fun details like decor and design and he got annoying job of dealing with vendor scheduling and coordinating timelines with like 4 different vendors coming in who had never even been to the venue before. Also super helpful that Creative Happens also has rentals so I was able to rent stuff like easels from him at the very last minute. Without Chris, we would have been stressed out and running around the whole day trying to get everything done and trying to figure out logistics. Instead we got to have the time of our lives at our party. The best thing you can do for your wedding is to hire Creative Happens. 100% won't regret it.”
