“My husband and I had the tremendous good fortune to have Ashley as our coordinator and florist for our wedding this May. What Ashley does goes so far beyond the scope of a typical day or month-of coordinator. We met with Ashley monthly for an entire year leading up to the wedding. She had so many smart ideas and insights throughout the process, kept us on track, and even drove an hour plus away to do a site tour with us. I am a little socially anxious and could imagine feeling awkward day-of around a coordinator I had only talked to a couple times. Instead, Ashley felt like a good friend who we knew we could trust completely. If you are a couple on a budget like we were, know that Ashley’s services are an incredible value for your money (raise your prices girl). After working with her for a few months, we decided to also hire her to do our florals. Having one fewer vendor to wrangle and having our florist present for the whole event was amazing. I initially worried that because she does both coordination and florals that she might not have the expertise of someone who is solely a florist. Not the case at all! Ashley is wildly talented with flowers. I had a very specific vision, and she blew me away. I made her a vision board and she executed it flawlessly. Ashley went above and beyond in all areas and was really there for us throughout an emotional and stressful process. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. “Delaney and her assistant Keziah went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of magical! They made sure we ran on time (easier said then done with a bride who is late for everything), made sure we looked perfect for every photo, and most importantly made sure we had fun all night! It felt like there was nothing these ladies couldn’t do! They even managed to wrangle a bat that had flown into our bridal room and got it safely out the window! “We met Kacie from Golden Day over a year before our wedding date and booked her after our very first meeting. Choosing a day-of coordinator really comes down to personal preference. We met with some coordinators who were pretty aggressive, and came off as overbearing. That’s not Kacie. Kacie acts as a calm, stress-neutralizing sounding board for your ideas. Anything you share with her is met with, “Yes, that’s a great idea, let’s make it happen.” She doesn’t try to steer your vision; instead, she supports your creativity and helps keep it on track as your ideas evolve. She shows up when you need her and is always willing to take a phone call without hesitation or making you feel like you're on the clock. With Kacie, there were no stupid questions, we could ask her anything, even twice, and we were met with her optimistic attitude and supportive responses. On our wedding day, Kacie maintained her positive, poised demeanor as she set up the entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space with very little help. There were some issues at the start of the ceremony, but Kacie never seemed phased. Not once did she let stress show or allow it to leak into our headspace leading up to, or during the big day. Kacie was also incredible about making sure we actually ate on our wedding day. So many friends told us, “You’ll never eat at your own wedding.” Well, they clearly didn’t hire Kacie. After the ceremony, cocktail-hour appetizers magically appeared while we waited for our grand entrance. As soon as we sat down, she had plates of dinner ready for us. At the end of the night, my wife and I were actually able to head to the after-party with our friends, and that was because of Kacie. She stayed behind and left the venue spotless so we wouldn’t incur any additional charges. In fact, she wrapped everything up so efficiently that our catering team was able to leave early, and we were credited back an hour of service. Our day truly was golden, if we could choose one word to describe it, as corny as that sounds. And it wouldn’t have happened without Kacie.”
