Working with Blushing Flower Events made our wedding planning stress-free from start to finish. Ashley got back to us quickly and kept everything organized without the fluff, which made the whole process so much easier. She helped us stick to our budget while planning every single detail, and we never felt rushed or confused about what was happening when. On the day of our wedding, Ashley went above and beyond by handling setup and teardown, and she made sure our guests felt taken care of the entire time. We had a unique vision, leaning into woodsy/gnome vibes. She went above our expectations to achieve that. Our "centerpieces" were one of my favorite things she helped put together. Her kindness and resourcefulness turned what could have been a hectic day into something truly special. We couldn't have asked for a better partner to bring our vision to life.

Ashley was such a gem to work with for hair and make up for my wedding day. From the first consultation to the final look on the wedding day, she made sure I got the look and style I wanted. I do not typically wear make up and requested a natural look. Ashley was able to elevate my features to help with photos, and fully avoided doing a full glam that doesn’t look like me. For what I imagined for my wedding day, it was absolutely perfect. Throughout the trial run and the day of the wedding, Ashely made sure to check in after each thing she did so that it met what I wanted. Ashley was warm and kind. Anytime I requested a change, she was more than happy to adjust and try the different look (e.g. different lip color, the low bun off center instead of centered). I felt comfortable asking for what I wanted, because she continued to ask for feedback and did not act offended when I said the changes I wanted. If I ever need my hair and make up done for another extravagant event, I would 100% work with Ashley again.

I loved working with Ashley! I don't wear make-up, so the last thing I wanted on my wedding was to look too dolled up and not feel comfortable with a lot of make-up. When I saw the more natural look of brides on Blushing Flower Events website, I reached out for a phone consult. Immediately, Ashley made me feel at ease when she said, "I want the groom to recognize the bride." Leading up to the wedding, Ashley was communicative and accommodating with the day of schedule. There were a couple changes we needed to make and she adjusted start times accordingly. I didn't do a trial before the wedding (didn't want to drive 2 hours one way), but I shared several photos of make-up styles and up-do styles I liked with Ashley. She has a great booking page where I shared concerns about skin irritations and my hair being thin and having an odd texture, so she knew all that beforehand. Day of the wedding was fantastic! Ashley explained everything about what the make-up does and how it will look in photos, which I really appreciated as I had no idea. She checked in throughout to see how I felt about both hair and make-up and made changes if something didn't feel right. For example, the first set of lashes we tried felt really ticklish, like too much curl, so she tried a different kind and that felt much better - I honestly forgot I was wearing fake lashes. Due to my weird hair combo, I knew my hair probably wouldn't behave to match the photos exactly, but Ashley got it very close and made it look magical. And it stayed in place all day and we were outside on Mt. Hood most of the day! Best compliment came from my husband who told me that I still looked like me and he could tell I was comfortable in my own skin throughout the day. Thank you, Ashley! We got to work together on a wedding in 2025 and Blushing Flower Events did a fantastic job! The hair and make up looked great and the bride was very happy! I would definitely recommend reaching out to Ashley for your hair and make up needs!
