Hey! I’m Marci (or Mars), a nontraditional wedding photographer and documentarian who specializes in 35mm and medium format film photography. I also offer digital photography and am typically shooting both on a wedding day – with a keen eye for the unexpected, subtle yet profound moments + the genuine expressions of connection, love and laughter.

My inspiration comes from organic moments, perfectly imperfect details, natural + modern environments and the subtleties + nuances of everyday life. I find that I thrive most when I get to serve couples who are so involved in the moment, they don’t care much about a wrinkle in their dress or a misplaced hair. My approach is documentary + editorial – capturing an honest documentation of the day, while sprinkling in an artistic flare. I strive to create photographs that feel distinctive and raw.

Once we got Marci on board, I felt immediately at ease about the wedding. I knew that, no matter what happened, no matter what details about the day wouldn't go perfectly, we would have great photos and the end of it all. She offered so much of herself before the actual date to check in with us and make sure we could talk about anything we wanted on the day.
