Jonni Marie Perez: I am the daughter of a Time/Life, Forbes, and Sports Illustrated published photographer, and have been a film assistant from the moment I could hold a flash. My dad's editorial style and the stories he told with his camera continue to inspire me now, as a husband and wife photography team. David Jose Perez: I am an award winning Cuban-American photographer with a passion for capturing the stories in people's lives as they unfold. I've been a photojournalistic wedding and lifestyle photographer in Miami since 2010, and I will continue to be inspired by the people whom I get to photograph, and the stories we get to tell.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING
We can’t say enough good things about David and Jonni Marie! From the moment they arrived, they brought such a calm, fun energy that made everyone feel completely at ease. It honestly felt like spending the day with friends who just happen to be insanely talented photographers. All of our guests were raving about how amazing they were, and we couldn’t agree more. We haven’t even gotten our photos back yet, but we already know they’re going to be incredible. They cared so deeply about capturing every detail and emotion, and it truly showed. I decided to do something a little different and scheduled our full wedding shoot two days after the wedding so I could actually enjoy cocktail hour — and I can’t recommend it enough! It took all the pressure off and gave us time to soak it all in without the wedding-day chaos. We’re so grateful for how much heart and enthusiasm they brought to every moment. From the moment we first spoke with Pine and Palm Photography, we knew we had found the perfect wedding photographers for our special day. Jonni and David kept the atmosphere relaxed and friendly and that immediately put us at ease. Their attention to detail and commitment to capturing every moment was truly amazing. They went above and beyond to get the perfect shots, even staying a little later to ensure we got everything we wanted. As someone who is typically camera shy, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the experience - Jonni was so skilled at posing us and making sure my hair stayed in place. She had to put in a bunch of Bobby pins to hold my veil up too. David is an amazing photographer and you can tell he really enjoys capturing every moment. He has a "whatever it takes" mindset to get the perfect shot, and the results are absolutely stunning. We are thrilled to see our wedding photos and are so grateful to Pine and Palm Photography for helping to make our day so special.
