Now booking for 2028! Located adjacent to Alta Ski Area in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta's Rustler Lodge is a picturesque hideaway, perfect for stunning private wedding celebrations. With expansive facilities surrounded by picture-perfect grounds, you and your loved ones can look forward to an unforgettable celebration at the Rustler Lodge. The Rustler Lodge offers a wide range of services for our clients to choose from, and our offerings can be customized to suit your needs. During your stay, you will have exclusive use of the lodge, as well as two large getting-ready rooms for you and your wedding party. Many of our lodging rooms are newly renovated and feature air conditioning. Our team will work with you to ensure that every element of your day is carefully considered and expertly executed.

Perfect for your ceremony, our spacious landscaped grounds are lush with wildflower gardens and landscaping, fresh-cut grass, and our own waterfall.

Paired with spectacular views of the Wasatch mountains and Alta Ski Area, our ceremony lawn provides the perfect backdrop for your Little Cottonwood Canyon wedding. We provide white lawn chairs and an ideal seating map that accommodates your guests.

Cocktail Patio

Just off of the Ceremony Lawn, the Cocktail Patio is a convenient and stunning space for cocktail hour.

The Cocktail Patio is equipped with teak tables and chairs and an auxiliary bar. The Patio is ideal for outdoor beverages and hors d’oeuvre service after the ceremony.

Rehearsal Dinner Deck

Our deck is a great space for a Friday evening rehearsal dinner and welcome reception, even in the event of inclement weather.

This covered space is complete with tables, chairs, and heaters. The deck is a relaxing space for you to mingle with friends and family as the mountain day cools down. This space also serves as a great backup to the Cocktail Patio on your wedding day should the weather be a challenge.

We are open for weddings in July and August.
No. All beer, wine, and liquor must be purchased through the Rustler Lodge. Alcoholic beverages not served by Rustler Lodge staff are prohibited in all public areas.
Free self-parking is available during our summer season.
The Rustler makes every reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities and accommodates service dogs that perform a task for a person with a disability. Many of our lodging rooms are accessible via elevator.
Yes, we have complimentary internet for all Rustler guests. We also have a Business Nook if you need access to a computer and printer during your stay.
We are located 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. We recommend Alta Shuttle for transportation to and from the airport on shared or private shuttles. Call 801-274-0225 or visit altashuttle.com.
Yes, our culinary team is happy to work with you to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Yes, we require all of our couples to hire either a full-service wedding planner or, at minimum, a professional day-of coordinator. The Rustler Lodge will have an on-site venue coordinator to assist with any questions throughout the planning process and day-of.
We require that all food and beverages be provided by the Rustler Lodge. No outside food is permitted during your event, with the exception of desserts and wedding cake.
We only host weddings in July and August.
