I have an unfettered adoration for this journey we call life. It’s the uncontrollable belly laughs at inside jokes. It’s the mountain vistas and the smell of sagebrush burning in a desert bonfire. It’s the cozy Sunday snuggles with your partner and puppy. All of it. It’s so sweet. I’m a Salt Lake City and Park City Wedding Photographer who proudly calls Utah home. Honestly, I can’t imagine doing anything else other than photography. It’s a joy to capture meaningful moments and create art with amazing humans from all over the world!

Your story is the most important thing to me. So I balance capturing authentic and candid photos of the celebration with crafting creative portraits that honor who you are together and as individuals. I'll document how your day felt—the joy, the jitters, the crazy party, the wild love. From the intimate to the epic, I will be fully present for you.     Amazing photography

    We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than Austen! From the very beginning, he was awesome to work with and made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. One of the things we appreciated most about Austen was how comfortable he made us feel. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with a longtime friend rather than someone we hired to photograph our wedding. He fit right in, was so easy to be around, and made everything feel natural. We never felt like we were constantly posing for pictures or being pulled away from enjoying our day. And the photos turned out AMAZING! Austen did such a great job capturing not only the big moments, but all the little candid moments with our friends and family. Looking back through the photos really feels like we get to relive the entire day. He captured the energy, emotions, and fun of our wedding perfectly. We couldn't be happier with our experience or how the photos turned out. Austen is incredibly talented, but he's also just a genuinely great guy to have around.     Fall Wedding with Austen

    Austen was great to work with for our wedding. With a bit of dual approach to a wedding and ceremony, he was flexible with what we were looking for so we get to work with him twice! Not only does he get great photos, but he's so relaxed and able to adjust based on what's happening on the day. My family has been to a lot of weddings and all kept saying he was the best photographer they've worked with - which we echo! Highly recommend booking Austen for whatever you need.

    Work with Austen!!

    If you want phenomenal, authentic wedding photos that capture the joy of the day, you should work with Austen. If you ALSO want to work with a vendor who is experienced in the industry, proactively offers up his expertise for the details that you didn't know you needed to think about yet, and someone who helps you structure your wedding day to get great pictures with all your loved ones while still being fully present, you should DEFINITELY work with Austen. He's communicative, professional, and an all around pleasure to work with. We could not be more pleased with the pictures that we get to look back on.

    Engagement and wedding photos!

    We initially hired Austen for our engagement photos and enjoyed his personality and the photos he took so much that we hired him for our out-of-state wedding. He is professional, thorough, and fun to have around as he captures these important life events.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Yes! I offer wedding video as an add-on to photography coverage, from a highlight film up to full multi-camera coverage of the ceremony, toasts, etc. You get both photo and video without hiring separate teams.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 2-3 weeks after your wedding. This is much faster than the average turnaround time in the industry!
You can expect about 75 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted shooter.
My clients have said that my wedding photography is authentic, creative, and playful. I’d also add that I’m a romantic at heart and it comes across in my photos. I edit in a style that is timeless, clean, and punchy. All this said, my top priority is to capture moments, create portraits, and deliver images to show how the day felt.

It makes images sing, dance, and have that “wow” effect. My command of light has taken years of professional growth.
