String Love plays the best of contemporary music and the best of the classical world! We know people love the look and feel of a string quartet but also want the music they listen to every day. We play songs everybody recognizes, whether that's Bach and Beethoven or Bruno Mars and The Beatles - songs you love and can sing along with. If your favorite song isn't on our list, tell us and we'll create it! We love special requests and custom arrangements. Want to recreate the scene from Love Actually? We've done that. Want strings and harp, strings and piano, strings and guitar, or strings and vocals? We've done all of that.

    We LOVE String Love!

    When our clients need a fun, professional and classy string quartet for their event, we know exactly who to hire! String Love is a great group to work with. They're always prompt, prepared and go with the flow. We love their sound and our clients do, too!

Absolutely! We love requests!
Our standard dress is nice black, however upon request we are happy to dress in tuxedos and dresses, jeans and cowboy hats, or whatever you like.
We are happy to accommodate all of that, and we have! We are the most flexible quartet around, it's what we're known for.
We can accommodate all of that, however it does limit our available repertoire a bit, and it doesn't save you a ton of money, so unless space is the issue we always recommend hiring the quartet or quintet.
That's our most common booking. You can book us for as long as you'd like, but the most common booking is 2 hours, which works great for ceremony and cocktail hour, or 3 hour, which is great for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner hour.
Of course! You can ask for anything on our song list (which is huge!) or anything that isn't on our song list. If we don't have it, we'll find it or we'll make it from scratch! Just keep in mind, if it's a song that was originally played by an enormous group, like a full orchestra or a modern electronic pop band, that it will sound different. It will sound beautiful, but different.
Experience and flexibility. We've played tons of weddings, but also tons of other types of events - we've played to a fireworks display at midnight on New Years, we've played with rock bands, we've played on TED Talks, we've got members who can play jazz, who can improvise, we've played catholic ceremonies, Middle-Eastern, and because of that our song list is the largest you'll find.
Yes, normally it's not necessary, but we can provide sound equipment for ourselves and also for the ceremony (bride, groom, officiant, hand held mic) with enough notice and for an additional fee.
