R&I Photography

Situated out of Providence, Rhode Island, R&I Photography is a wedding photography company. Owners, Rebecca and Ilia specialize in providing candid, natural, and artistic photography while helping couples to relax and have fun in front of the camera. Every couple's love is unique and wonderful, and this team wants to give them a collection and an experience they'll remember and cherish forever.

R&I Photography delights in seeing the look on a couple's face when they take their first look at their wedding album. They offer packages for both engagements and weddings, aiming to make each photo shoot a success. These talented photographers have an eye for detail and are committed to each couple on the day of their wedding by offering a one-event-per-day policy. In addition, they make sure every angle is captured and can provide additional locations and hours, if required.

Wonderful women with a true gift!
Our photographers were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were so down-to-earth, supportive, and genuinely just wonderful to have with us throughout the day. They made everything feel easy and natural, which is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. They also did such a beautiful job understanding our vision. They paid attention to the little details we had put so much thought into — the flowers, tables, ceremony setup, and all of the little pieces that made the day feel like ours — while also capturing the bigger moments beautifully. What I especially loved was how effortlessly they balanced giving us direction when we needed it with letting things happen naturally. Our portraits never felt stiff or overly posed, and they were so good at finding those little in-between moments that you don’t even realize are happening. After cocktail hour, I honestly forgot they were there, which I mean as the biggest compliment. They were so stealthy and incredibly good at capturing genuine candids of us and our guests without interrupting the moment. Looking through our photos, there are so many moments that I didn’t even know had happened or didn’t get to see myself, and those are some of my absolute favorites. They captured our friends laughing, people interacting, all of the little reactions throughout the night, and the overall feeling of the celebration so beautifully. They were also incredibly respectful of the fact that we wanted our wedding to feel intimate and relaxed. They never made the day feel like it revolved around getting photos, but somehow still captured everything we will want to remember. And beyond being talented photographers, they were just genuinely lovely people to have around. They were supportive, calm, easygoing, and made us feel completely comfortable. I’m sure you can tell from their work how talented they are, but getting to experience them in person made me appreciate their talent even more. We are so grateful we got to work with them, and I know we’ll be looking at these photos for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend them enough!

Can’t recommend R&I enough!
We had an amazing experience with R&I Photography for our engagement session & wedding day! The photos were shot and edited SO beautifully, and their communication was great throughout the whole planning process. Rebecca & her co-photographer were also just so great during the wedding day itself which we really appreciated. Wedding mornings can be hectic, we also had a 22-person wedding party and it poured rained for most of the day which definitely added to the chaos. Rebecca and her co were totally professional - they jumped right into the hectic morning unfazed, and they made sure we stuck to our timeline and got all the photos we needed before the worst of the rain. They also did a great job wrangling our families/wedding parties for photos and brought a really positive, fun, and calm vibe to the morning. We didn’t feel like they were in our face with cameras the whole time, but we also knew they were close by when we needed them. My advice to future brides when picking vendors is this: Your wedding photographers are right by your side for some of the most personal/emotional moments of your wedding day, and there are lots of moving parts to a wedding day, so it’s so helpful to have photographers who can read the room, go with the flow, and bring a stress-free, positive, and FUN energy into the day. R&I totally did that for us at our wedding and we’re really thankful they did. I can’t recommend them enough!

the best!!!!!
We are so grateful we had her as our photographer!!!! She has such a wonderful personality and made taking pictures feel easy and fun. Rain meant we had to completely change our ceremony plans last minute, but she took it all in stride and made sure we still got the most beautiful pictures. She was so efficient without ever making us feel rushed, and we truly felt like she cared about making our day special. We couldn’t be happier with our photos and will treasure them forever! communication was great as well!!! the best can’t say it enough!

Rebecca and Ilia were incredibly professional, responsive, and on top of every detail throughout the entire process. Their communication and organization were exceptional, helping to keep us on schedule and stress-free on the wedding day. The quality of their work is truly jaw-dropping - they captured the most beautiful, intimate moments with our family and friends.
