For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt most at home when I was creating art. I fell in love with photography at the age of 13, when I realized I could create art out of the moments that were already happening around me. Fast forward a bit...I've now been working as a professional photographer for over 5 years, and have had the pleasure of shooting many gorgeous weddings all over New England. I love capturing bold, fun, colorful, creative, and authentic images that you can look back at with an enormous smile on your face for years to come.

I'm here for the couples who've seen the same old cookie-cutter wedding redone so many times—and want something a little different. My approach to wedding photography is very creative, blending candid shots and fun, relaxed, natural poses, and focusing on the authentic moments and all your details. Getting to know your genuine personalities is a huge part of my approach—this way, I can capture your day as authentically & artistically as possible!

    The perfect local photographer

    We chose Ari Marie Photography for our elopement and couldn't have been happier with our decision. From our first conversation, Ari was clear and easy to work with, which made planning our special day feel stress-free. She arrived with a solid game plan and made smart decisions about timing and positioning, so we got everything we wanted in the time we had.     Amazing Wedding Photographer

    One of the first things I booked for my wedding was a wedding photographer. I am so glad that we chose Ari to capture some special moments for our wedding. Ari connected with me and my wife as a couple and really got to know what we wanted from our wedding photos. One of the things Ari did so well was to capture candid shots of everyone at our wedding. I was able to give everyone a wedding favor with a beautiful photo of them at the wedding. One of my friends said she had never been photographed so well by a photographer (sometimes photos would be too dark for her skin complexion)- but Ari did so well with lighting that everyone looked amazing! Ari also helped canvas an off site location for our photos before the ceremony... I did not have to worry about one thing on the day of. Ari was professional and guided us through every step of the way. We have some gorgeous photos right off the water that were absolutely perfect. As an LGBTQIA couple, being treated with care and respect were important to us- and Ari made our wedding so special! I could not recommend Ari enough as a wedding photographer.

    Wedding and Engagement Photos

    We worked with Ari for both our engagement photos as well as our wedding itself. She was a dream to work with - extremely creative and insightful when capturing our images, and so kind while working with and around our dog who was involved in both shoots. The care and thought she puts into working with you and capturing your memories and personalities are exactly what you want on a busy, stressful day. I'm so glad that Ari and her assistant were a part of our big day - I couldn't imagine anyone else being there.     Exceptional Photography and Photos!

    When my husband and I began planning our wedding, we were immediately drawn to Ari Marie Photography’s style and approach to wedding photos. Having now celebrated our wedding, with Ari documenting every important moment, I am so glad to say that our instincts were spot on! Ari (and her assistant that day) captured every photo we hoped she would, creating a comfortable yet professional atmosphere throughout the day. Ari paid attention to all of our requests, and she was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, always willing to help us by answering questions and providing guidance. This depends on your unique wedding day structure and the events you’re planning to incorporate! Typically, my couples hire me for 8 hours, beginning with getting ready/pre-ceremony shenanigan photos. This allows me to tell the full story of your amazing day. 8 hours allows for plenty of time to spread the day’s events out a little (so you don’t have to stress about jumping from one thing to the next).
The short answer: Yes. The longer answer: Planning a wedding should be exciting and fun, not stressful. But it can be a lot to tackle on your own, and that’s where having a planner or coordinator comes in. Working with the right wedding planner takes the stress out of the experience and leaves you with just the fun stuff! When it comes right down to it, wedding planners have the tools and knowledge to show you how your vision is coming together along the way, and honestly, nothing is more exciting than that.
Absolutely. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I feel extremely lucky to live and work in a place and time where LGBTQ+ wedding celebrations are becoming much more visible. No matter how you identify, I want to capture your special day authentically and artistically. 
I fell in love with photography when I was 12 years old and have been honing my craft ever since. I have a bachelor’s degree in photography and have now been working as a professional photographer for five years. I absolutely adore my job and have never once taken it for granted!

In the very, VERY unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your wedding, I will call on one of the other talented photographers in my network to fill in for me, and do my absolute best to connect you with them ahead of time. But, again, this is HIGHLY unlikely. I pride myself on my dedication, so barring an actual life-or-death emergency, I will be there!
