*AVAILABILITY UPDATE: I am only taking ONE more wedding for 2024!* I'm Stephannie, yes with two n's (thanks Mom)! I'm a wanderer at heart and travel often between my current home, New England and my old home, Montana! My world is fueled by fun and a good Whiskey mule! National Parks have my heart, food is my love language, and I love folk music. In my spare time I love to be outside or try out a new restaurant! I've been a photographer for 10 years, and this has been my full-time gig for 5 years now!
I specialize in adventurous elopements and intimate weddings (100 guests max)! My style is bold and vibrant, with a combination of dramatic black and whites, and rich colors. My desire is that my clients feel connected to me and vice versa, so that beautiful moments happen organically. If you want to snowmobile up a mountain or dance in the rain, I am always ready for an adventure! I love working with couples who are breaking standard wedding traditions, and who stay true to themselves throughout the wedding planning process. I created a magazine called "Plan the Marriage, not the Wedding" exactly for this reason!

We found our forever!
We found our forever photographer. Ashley and I were lucky enough to find Steph when looking for a wedding photographer. Little did we know we would be finding a friend and someone we will ask to take all future photos. Steph instantly won us over with not only her insane photography skills, but her personality. As people that don’t love to be in front of the camera, she made us feel comfortable and able to act like ourselves. We interviewed a handful of photographers, but after one call we knew she was our girl. She showed genuine interest in us as individuals as well as the success of our upcoming wedding. She took time to get to know us and that came out in the photographs. I could probably write at least 6 more paragraphs singing her praise, but to cut it short if you’re looking for a photographer, she’s the one and the only one to consider.
Truly Amazing!
My husband and I, and now my whole family, cannot recommend Stephannie enough. We have worked with her for years now, for all different types of shoots and there’s a reason we keep coming back. Steph is so kind, and she is the for you on your day in whatever capacity you need in addition to wearing her photographer hat. And to top it all off she takes INCREDIBLE photos to boot! She does such a wonderful job capturing everyone’s emotions in the moment, without posing folks, and without being intrusive. We’ve had Steph do our engagement, our wedding, a couples session, and most recently brought her back for family photos. She is truly an incredible human being that you will want to work with repeatedly and I wouldn’t be surprised if you become fast friends through it all.

My husband and I highly recommend Stephannie! Our first time meeting her was for our engagement shoot where we fell in love with her work. I HAD to have her for our wedding, which I'm so blessed and thankful to have had her photograph our day. She Is one of the most kindest, free spirited, talented people I've met in my life and so very thankful to have had the opportunity to meet her. Her work really speaks for itself. For our wedding she went above and beyond for nic and I, especially me the day of. She captured the most intimate, raw moments that we get to relive every time we look at them. I can honestly say, since we've received our photos, I have looked at them every single day because they are just so perfect! We will continue to use her to capture life's moments for us as the years go on and we're so thankful to have found Stephannie and a forever friend!
An actual gem
I could write a small novel on working with Steph! I've shot with her enough times to lose count. I'm a repeat client for numerous reasons. The first being her ability to make the entire experience flow seamlessly. Even with bumps in the road she always handles it. Her warmth and dedication to keeping everything relaxed and comfortable is another high selling point to my numerous shoots. I absolutely adore Stephannie and you will as well, no doubt!
