Hello beautiful people! My name is Jocelyn and I have been a makeup artist for over 8 years, pursuing this full time the last 3! I have loved makeup my entire life and my love has just grown as I have gotten older. Communication and trust with my clients is extremely important to me! I always make sure we have time to talk about exactly what kind of look you are looking for. I look forward to welcoming you to my chair!

I am a individual artist who runs every aspect of her business herself! When you reach out, until the day of the event you will be in touch with me, and have open communication with me! My wedding pricing is all individualized based on person and not time, this is so that my couples can see all of the pricing in one place! I do have a minimum requirement of 4 people, and I can provide a second makeup artist to assist with bigger parties!

One makeup application takes me 45 minutes-1 hour depending on the intensity of the look! For bridal parties it will take me 30-45 minutes per person, and an hour and 15 minutes for the bride!

Yes! This price is the same whether you want lashes or not. Lashes are included in my base price, however the price will not be less with no lashes.

I use individual lashes only. Not to be confused with lash extensions. My individual lashes are applied to the lash line, not the lashes themselves, so they will last the day until you wash your face! I have found individual lashes to be the most trustworthy on big days and I can be 100% confident that they will last until you take them off with no lifting or detaching.

I will travel pretty much anywhere with certain requirements. All travel is $0.50 a mile, round trip. I will travel up to 1 hour 15 min (or 65 miles) from my home city for one person, or for a trial. I am located in Norwich CT. To travel 1 hour 15 min+ I have a 4 person requirement for up to 1 hour 30min, and anything about 1 hour 30 min I require 6+ people. I am open to destination weddings.

From what I have experienced, depending on your party size it can be a good idea to find someone who does both hair and makeup, or a really time consuming idea. If you have a party larger than 3, you would want to consider having an artist for makeup and a separate stylist for hair. Makeup takes 30 min- 1 hour per person, and the same goes for hair.

No, I do not provide hair styling services, I only do makeup.

No I do not wax eyebrows, or pluck, or shape eyebrows. I do not mind plucking a few stray hairs but I do not calculate brow maintenance into my service time estimate.

You absolutely can, however you will have to pay the full price for the full face makeup application.

Wonderful to work with!
Jocelyn was attentive to details and worked well with all of my bridesmaids. She made us all feel extremely good on my big day and was super sweet and kind to everyone. Pricing and communication was great!

Jocelyn was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day makeup. From our first consultation, she was responsive, professional, and so easy to talk to. On the morning of my wedding, Jocelyn arrived right on time and immediately put me at ease with her warm personality. As she worked her magic, we enjoyed fun conversation that made the getting ready process relaxed and enjoyable. Phenomenal make up artist.
Jocelyn was an absolute delight to work with for my wedding day makeup. Her communication style was speedy, personal, and energetic - she always responded quickly to any questions I had and made me feel like an individual, not just another client. The quality and value of her work was amazing. She didn't use a one-size-fits-all approach but really tailored the look to me. When she was done I truly felt beautiful, confident, and ready to walk down the aisle. On the day itself Jocelyn arrived right on time and came bearing a lovely gift, which was so thoughtful. She worked efficiently and professionally to make sure my makeup was perfect before zipping off to her next appointment. I couldn't recommend Jocelyn more highly for any bride looking for a talented, responsive, and thoughtful makeup artist for her special day!
