Garren Poirier is the name and I CAN'T say I've been into photography since my dad gave me a camera back in 1982. I started getting interested in photography in 2004 after I bought my first camera for a trip across the pacific to Indonesia. From that point I was obsessed with taking pictures. I immersed myself in learning about photography through books, the internet and trial and error. My true passion in the beginning was landscape which I believed helped me with other aspects of photography, I love finding new ways to look at the world.

I don’t do safe and boring. I do holy shit and WTF. We are not going to merely give you photos. I am going to give you works of art that blow your mind, communicate the essence of who you are, tell your stories beyond what you see, and move complete strangers to stop and stare. If you’re brave enough to trust me with your memories, then I'm brave enough to shock your socks off.

We had the pleasure of working with Garren at Reading Farms Estate during Agatha and Bartek’s wedding day, and we had such an incredible experience with him and his team. Garren is not only fun and creative, he’s truly passionate about what he does, and couples immediately connect with his energy. He has an incredible ability to stay focused while adapting seamlessly to every moment, ensuring that every small and significant detail is captured with intention. His photography style goes far beyond creating images; it’s art. The way he plays with dark and light contrasts while highlighting the soft shimmer of colors is both beautiful and unmistakably his own. Garren and his team were amazing. From helping us create a timeline for the when and where of wedding day photographs, to exploring one of our favorite (and extremely buggy) spots for engagement photos, to delivering the most beautiful wedding pictures in an easy-to-access format….Garren is simply the best! We can't rave about Garren enough! Not only is he a true artist but also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He was a calming influence throughout our wedding day and doubles as a wedding planner making sure everyone is in line. His communication leading up to the big day was also truly outstanding, and he worked so well with all of our vendors during our special day. It took us MONTHS to get through all of our pictures because so many of them were spectacular! In the end, we printed 100s and will probably print more once we sort through all the gems. It is hard for us to put into words how grateful we are that we chose Garren as our wedding photographer. Even our friends and family continue to rave about the quality of our photos and how great he was during the day. You won't regret choosing Garren and Gabby to be part of your wedding team or having him there to capture any other special moment!
